Murunna Cottages. Bermagui is a beautiful, sleepy coastal village where you can't help feel that you have left the real world behind. Take off your watch, turn off your phone and immerse yourself in 'Bermi-time' in our cottages.

Sleep to the sound of the ocean in our thoughtfully renovated 4 bedroom home. We offer luxurious furnishings as well as a well stocked library, a turbo fireplace, a LCD TV & DVD player, Foxtel and ocean views from the deck. Snuggle up near the fireplace or enjoy a relaxing soak in the huge bath.

High quality linen is available for additional cost.

We also have three 2 bedroom cottages which are well equipped and very charming. Floorboards throughout, fully equipped kitchen featuring quality appliances and comfy beds. Whole of property bookings are available- contact us direct for more details.

Murunna Cottages are in easy walking distance to the beach as well as the cafes and restaurants in town.

Fabulous house in a great location

We loved our stay at Spotted Gum. The house was well equipped and very comfortable and in a great location with a lovely view from the back deck.

I am so pleased that you and your family enjoyed your stay, Louise. The house is very centrally located so you can walk to most places in the town. We also love the back, often eating lunch there or having a bar b q dinner on a summers night. I hope if you come to Bermagui you will stay at Murunna Cottages again.

Excellent Property

Highly recommend this property. Plenty of room, very well appointed, family or couple orientated, beautiful location, a beautiful property and everything close by that you need. We were there on the long weekend in June (huge storms) for a family celebration, and the house provided us with everything we needed for a great family weekend. Great backyard for children and wish we could have used the deck with the beautiful views but due to the storms it made it impossible. Owners were very easy to deal with and went out of their way to help, even contacting us the day we left to let us know of road closures. Will definitely book again.

A good stay

We stayed for a week in winter. Property is in a great location near beach and shops and was nice to have the wood heater.

Refreshing getaway

We had a wonderful mini-break at Spotted Gum. The location was just right for us; a short stroll to the beach and shops, complete with a spectacular view of the ocean and sunset in the evening. The house was very clean and well- maintained, and the fire which was already lit for us on arrival kept us toasty warm. We hope to be back again!

Hi Naomi, Glad you had a nice few days at Spotted Gum. The deck is a great spot to sit to watch the ocean and the sun setting. We often have lunch there as well. The fire is just great to relax by in the evening.with a nice red and some special cheese from Tilba. Despite being very much a summer destination, the Soyh Coast certainly has its own beauty in winter. I hope that you will return to Spotted Gum again for another holiday break. Best wishes Pauline

The views!

Spotted Gum is really lovely. Very spacious. Exceptional views from main bedroom and deck over the Bermagui beaches and harbour. The kitchen is very well decked out with lots of extras. Pauline is very obliging and responsive. The wood stove and gas heater in the central lounge room are good, but they did struggle a bit to heat the rest of the house in mid-Winter. That said, there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Overall, we had a terrific stay.

I am sorry if you felt that some of the rooms were not adequately heated. To be honest we haven't had any other complaints but most of our bookings are usually in summer It is only during this most unusual year that people are booking Spotted Gum in winter. I will look into the issue and see what can be done. Perhaps a heater in the bedroom might solve the problem. Regards, Pauline

Great location for whale watching

We have stayed at Murruna cottages several times and they are clean, comfortable, well appointed and conveniently located. Walk across the road and you have a perfect viewing platform for whale watching. amenities and restaurants are within minutes and the area is very quite.

Wonderful Cottages
