Beautiful Secluded Cottage Getaway…We had a wonderful weekend at this charming little cottage. Tucked away and completely secluded, it’s surrounded by picturesque rolling hills dotted with cows and kangaroos – the views were just stunning.Inside, the cottage is very comfortable and well-appointed, with a beautiful slow combustion fire that made the evenings so cosy. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and everything we needed was provided.Perfect peaceful escape – highly recommend!

Feel the serenity!Close to Picton but so quiet. Well away from the road so very little traffic noise, or any other noise except birds and moos. Great back deck overlooking a pretty valley. It is off grid, so you have to manage power a little. Not much different to utilising solar at home. Excellent wood stove fire that is easy to use. Loved it and recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

Wonderful, relaxing weekend in an idyllic location. Accommodation was spotless, cosy and comfortable. Our host Louise was very obliging and all communication was easy and almost immediate. We definitely hope to back !

Clean and peaceful

We had the most peaceful stay at the cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved the fact that we spent our time in a sustainable environment. The back deck was our favourite place and the sunrise view from the master bedroom was priceless. Thank you Louise. We loved every minute of our stay

The little hideaway cottage with many unexpected surprises

Having not the opportunity to travel in the past 2 years, due to Covid, the family decided to take an extended holiday to the country. Upon our arrival we were surprised and lost for words of what we encountered. A STUNNING idyllic hidden gem with many beautiful features. These included the spectacular endless mountain views, located miles away from the rat race, the peaceful sound of chirping birds, the crisp morning air revitalised our senses, the beautiful surrounding farmland with countless charolais cattle, who were the morning alarm clock for us all! The cottage is a great size to maintain and has all the amenities which we enjoyed using. It is very very very clean=spotless cottage with many tasteful decor which made spending our family bonding sessions around the cosy wood burner toasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate memorable. Louise is an EXCELLENT host !!! She attended to all our needs in a prompt, cheerful, helpful and pleasant manner. Our country stay exceeded our expectation in all aspects!!!!!!!!!!!!! Louise, thank you for making our stay enjoyable and memorable. We throughly enjoyed our re-energised country holiday experience and we will definitely be back!!!

Picturesque stay.

Beautifully furnished. Well maintained, but no toaster or microwave. Air conditioner can only be used during the day. Low voltage power.

The cottage is totally off grid solar so there are no appliances which use electric elements. The air-conditioner is explained on arrival - it runs off the sun and solar panels. The power supply is 240 volts.

Just what was needed

Finding a gem like this for our employees to stay while they are away from loved ones working has been amazing. Its made it easy, from start to finish. Host is awesome, we wont stay anywhere else.

A lovely stay

In one word Excellent

Me and my friends we all just loved it. This place is absolutely beautiful. Louise is very nice and easy to communicate. The place is super clean. View is awesome. The deck balcony in the back is the best place, I can sit there all day long. This is super good. We loved it. We want to come again in rainy day so that we can watch rain all day from there. Or may be in full moon, we can spend all night there. Thank you Loiuse for having us.
