Great riverfront location for your river excursion needs. We had to cut our stay short by one night due to a family emergency however captain bill was a great and accommodating host.

Thanks Adam. I did send a partial refund based on your early departure due to family emergency. Hope all is well. If I come to the island I'll look you up!
My wife and I had a great time at this relaxing destination... we enjoyed the Kenai river and surrounding towns (mainly Soldotna which has some good restaurants) and caught some red salmon off the dock. Captain Bill was very helpful in showing us how they fish for reds, and his Mother/Father were very kind and helpful as well... we felt like family! Will be back
We had a wonderful time. Bill and his wife are so friendly and knowledgeable. They have everything you nee to clean and store your fish and can even process it for you. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had an amazing view.
My wife and I came down to Soldotna area for the first time and stayed at Bills cabins. Check in and communication was good and easy. Pets allowed was a big plus for us and no issues
We had great mornings on the deck drinking coffee and looking out at the river. It was a great spot! We will be back!

Nice setting right on the river. Private, cozy cabins. Helpful host.
The cabin was great for our group of 3. We had everything we needed to clean up after hiking or fishing, cook a few of our meals and relax, and there were 2 separate sleeping areas for privacy. It was a good location for exploring the Kenai peninsula - about the same distance to Homer or Seward from there. Also close to Soldatna for groceries or restaurants. Bill Sr. set up a trip for us to fish for Silver Salmon on the river and was available for questions. We had plenty of towels and the bedding was clean and warm. The only negative was the uncomfortable mattresses.
Bill White’s Alaska Sports Lodge opened its doors in 1997 but that is not when it all began. Bill White Jr. migrated to Alaska and began living and fishing the Kenai River in 1988. We have not missed a season on the Kenai River since then. Our dedication to providing the most seasoned Kenai River Guides and catering to our clients is paramount to our success.
