Country Style Cottage - relax and enjoy the view. Enjoy the country experience of Graham's Cottage, a delightful studio apartment catering for up to 2 adults. Enjoy Jan's home made shortbread on arrival.

Situated on 'Island Views' property, it is worth the drive up the hill to admire the magnificent view of Tamar Island on arrival at the cottage. Only 10 mins from the Launceston GPO and on the Tamar Valley wine route. Approximately 500 metres to Tamar Island Wetlands Centre, birdwatching and boardwalk to the island. A must for tourists.

Reverse cycle heat pump ensures a comfortable temperature all year round. Macracarpa pine kitchen benches are a stunning feature of the cottage. Bathroom includes both bath and shower.

Less than 15 minutes by car to Launceston GPO, Cataract Gorge and chair-lift, 10 minutes to Grindlewald Swiss Village. Graham's Cottage is ideally situated for visits to local wineries, restaurants, cafes and beaches.

Quaint little cottage. Very comfy and cosy. Nice hot shower and water pressure. The bed was a little small for us and the cooking facilities a bit basic if staying for awhile. The location was lovely and quiet. Janine's homemade shortbread biscuits were a lovely touch.

A lovely cottage which we found very cosy and homely for our week long stay in Launceston. Freshly made shortbread and freshly picked flowers from the garden were left for us upon arrival. We would highly recommend this accomodation.

Grahamns cottage

Janine and Paul have set up a beautiful rural cottage with all amenities and within reaches of all sights and areas. The local wallaby and deer that visit are a bonus and the views are definitely a sight to see.

Country vibes near the city

Absolutely loved our stay at Grahams cottage. The cottage is located on a large elevated block overlooking the beautiful Tamar wetlands. Only a short drive from Launceston and around the corner from Cataract Gorge. Jan’s homemade shortbread was delicious

Hidden Gem

Scrupulously clean and well cared for it’s hard to fault this little hidden gem for a short stay less than 10 minutes out of Launceston. The elevated view over the Tamar wetlands is really worth the short drive to the little farm which also provides privacy and an escape from all road noise on the busy road below. Nothing we needed had been forgotten but Janine and Paul are amiable and welcoming and were on site happy to offer assistance if needed.

Island Views

Our stay at Island Views was excellent, Janine, our host met us at the door and the unit was very well presented. there is everything you need in the unit, we particularly enjoyed the fresh homemade shortbread. The views is exactly as depicted in the photos and the walk around the wetlands was wonderful. The location, although a little out of Launceston, is perfect for exploring the Tamar River at places like Beaconsfield and Beauty Point, excellent Seafood Platter at the hotel. It is an easy drive into Launceston and there is lots to look at in the city. Thank you to Janine and Paul for allowing us to stay in your beautiful unit. We would highly recommend this to any couple who would like a quiet stay for a couple of nights

Gold Star for Silver Celebration

My wife and I recently celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary with a trip to Tassie. I found this place in the app, and the great price drew me in, not to mention its location within Tassie, and, then the photos just pushed it over the line. We loved our time in Tassie, and this place was so good! The host was amazing, friendly, and, made sure that we had plenty of privacy. The plate of shortbread on arrival was to die for! The view every morning looking out over the Tamar River, well, the photos just don’t do it justice. The hosts are very approachable, and really went above and beyond, ensuring we had a lovely time, and sharing helpful hints as well. My wife and I both spent years of our lives in the bush, and the farm animals, and pademelons, native birds, and other critters just made this stay so relaxing. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough! When we go back down to Tassie, this will be our first choice to stay. Thanks again to Janine and Paul.

The property was lovely with a cottage feel decor. The friendly hosts welcomed us and provided a gift pack of fruit and milk and toiletries. Seasonal flowers decorated the space. The bathroom was spacious and hot water quick and plentiful. Towels and linen were very good. The kitchen was well supplied with kettle, toaster, microwave, and plug in cooktop and grill oven. A full sized fridge. Crockery included some pretty patterns as well as utilitarian designs. Lounge and bedroom area wasn’t large but was very comfortable. Cd player, tv and dvd player were available and a selection of books. It was easy to keep warm. Location was good, opposite the Tamar Wetlands and only a few minutes out of town. Laundry wasn’t available but there is an excellent Laundromat a few minutes away. The driveway is very steep but the views are amazing.

A real gem in Launceston!

We were warmly welcomed by the hosts.. who had thoughtfully left out some chocolates, shortbread and fruit !! The cottage was perfectly situated to take in all the attractions near Launceston. The view from the cottage was beautiful. All in all, a perfect stay. Thank you Janine and Paul!

Lovely country cottage

Just outside Launceston in a beautiful setting. Beautifully presented with fresh fruit and freshly baked biscuits on arrival. Although the access Rd was a little bumpy the variety of wallabies seen each night more than made up for it. Hosts Paul and Janine were very friendly and gave good advice on where to eat.

Nice little place with a superb view

Very welcoming and helpful hosts, nice little cottage, which had everything we needed. Beautiful view over the Wetlands. The steep driveway was a bit of a challenge for our small rental car. Would definetely come again.
