89 Elphin Road was built around 1900 and has been in our family for 80 years. It has three large bedrooms, two modernised bathrooms and a large lounge. At the rear is a lovely light filled sunroom with comfortable seating and dining plus a new kitchen with European appliances. All the original building aesthetic of the period have been retained. The house is ideally situated 1.5kms from the centre of the city with ample parking. Public transport is close by.

The house was well equiped and to the expectation seen in the advertisements. Central to City centre and we had everything we needed supplied in the accomadation. Very comfortable stay.
The house was clean and tidy, the 2 front bedrooms are large and the third room a bit smaller, all comfortable beds. The extras in the kitchen and laundry came in handy, both bathrooms were good size especially the bath plus having 2 lounges in separate areas was also good.We didn’t use the air conditioner as we just kept back door open when home.Location was great, easy walk into Launceston and Newstead Hotel has a 3 course seniors meal for 29.Only thing we didn’t like about the house was we weren’t allowed to open windows as it is an old house which resulted in being stuffy and damp smelling.Communication with June was great.
An absolutely lovely property in a great location. The house is well equipped, we cooked a couple of times and didn’t feel we were short of utensils and pans. Would definitely stay again
Beautiful home, but was cold inside until the heaters caught up. A bit of traffic noise in the front rooms. Very well stocked kitchen and pantry. Very comfortable home, and so many great books to choose from! Would stay here again.
The home was perfect for our needs - beautifully renovated with everything for our needs.
The Hosts could not have been more helpful - it was a wonderful stay
A beautifully maintained home. Hosts were easy to communicate with and even though it was -2 degrees one morning we were cosy and warm. Highly recommend this place and in a great location. Thank you
We loved our stay, it’s a beautifully restored home with everything we needed plus more! Thank you June for your flexibility, we would love to stay again!
What a beauty, restored with all the mods and cons without destroying the historic charm. Everything we needed was close by. The house felt more like a home, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. I would definitely try and stay here on our next trip.
