About this property

Urchin Beach Cottage

Urchin Cottage is located approximately 1.5km from the Esperance Post Office, 1 km from the Esperance Tanker Jetty and a 300m stroll to Castletown Beach. It is 200 meters from the main beach walk/ bike tracks that take you to all playgrounds and to the beaches close to the town.
Urchin Cottage has 3 large bedrooms and is set up with a king size bed in the main bedroom, a queen size bed in the second bedroom and two big single beds in the third bedroom. All beds are very good quality and are made up with quality linen for your sleeping comfort. Two bedrooms have large built in robes except the third which has a hanging rack and shelves for guests use. Urchin Cottage is equipped with everything you need except beach towels.
The house has a spacious kitchen that is equipped with pots, pans and cooking utensils. With complementary tea coffee and milk with a few condiments.
Urchin Cottage has a large under cover outdoor entertaining area with a 9 piece outdoor setting and BBQ cooking facilities.
The Cottage is with in walking distance to a Shopping Centre, Chemist, Hairdressers/Beauticians, Service Station, Bakery/ Pizza shop, Tavern, and Fish and Chip shop
The back yard is fenced and dog friendly. We are happy for you to bring your dog, but outside only unless prior approval given by owner.

We grew up in Esperance, travelled away and returned to live in Esperance. We love the beaches and the environment in and around Esperance , we are water people and love the beaches, if you want information about beaches, surfing, fishing, 4W Driving, we are happy to share.

Why they chose this property

Urchin Beach Cottage was one of the original cottages of Esperance, has had some interesting history of ownership in the Goldfields and to Esperance residents. We bought and renovated the cottage enough to start short term holiday rental.

What makes this property unique

Urchin Cottage is a lovely Cottage, it has that homely relaxed beach house feel. It has lovely old Jarrah floors and has had renovations to make it more comfortable over the years. We love that we can offer this accommodation to guests and they can have their dogs come to stay with them, with a dog beach within 2 minutes walk of the cottage.
