Zen @ Hibiscus resides within a lovely Balinese inspired resort with two swimming pools surrounded by timber decking and hand carved stone statues, under cover parking and located only a few steps to beach or Main Street.

This little bit of paradise is just a mere 100metres from Macrossan Street (main centre of town) where you will find boutique shops, restaurants, supermarkets and tour agents - everything is at your fingertips.

This lovely apartment is ideally suitable for couples that desire a romantic & relaxing getaway.

No need for a car!! On site undercover parking is available if you desire to hire a car.

You will be only a short stroll (approx 200metres) to the patrolled section of beautiful 4-Mile Beach and only a short walking distance to the Marina, where the boats depart for the inner & outer reefs daily. You really are in the middle of everything!!

A beautiful lush tropical setting surrounds this lovely 1 bedroom apartment. This delightful apartment is located on the first floor, only one flight of stairs will bring you to your own private balcony with a view over looking the lagoon pool, sit here and relax after your days activities and take in the sunset with a cool drink. This lovely well equipped self catering apartment has a separate bedroom, ensuite bathroom with separate toilet, open plan kitchen/lounge and quality furnishings to make your stay a memorable and comfortable one.

This lovely apartment is owned and self managed by Peter & Niki - we are Port Douglas locals and always happy to answer any questions and are always contactable - so please don't hesitate to contact us.

LOCATION

Zen @ Hibiscus apartment is a privately owned apartment located within the Hibiscus Gardens resort on the cnr of Mowbray & Owen st. Port Douglas.

*** This lovely 1 bedroom apartment is fully self contained and not a serviced apartment. The apartment is fully made up for your arrival with fresh bed linen, bath towels and pool towels. There is a onsite laundry within the resort for your use.

***We do however offer a Complimentary Mid-Stay service for stays over 10 days. For shorter stays, an optional mid-stay service and change of linen can be arranged on request for an additional cost of $99.00 ***

Maximum occupancy is 3 guests and we welcome children and infants (a complimentary portacot and a high chair are available upon request)

We returned to this accommodation after 8 years and were not disappointed it’s perfectly located so you only need transport if exploring the surrounding places of interest. The owners were amazing and very accommodating, we had an early check in and late check out, very relaxing and great amenities. This will be our go to place to stay when we return to Port Douglas.

Wonderful 3 nights in Peter’s apartment in Hibiscus Gardens. Not only was apartment in the perfect location, all the amenities and little inclusions in the room were above and beyond what we expected, right down to the shopping bags and spare batteries. Room very comfortable, exceptionally clean, well equipped, quiet complex, and lovely pool facilities.

We had a lovely & relaxing time at Zen Hibiscus. The apartment very comfortable & had everything you needed. We found Peter to be very easy to liaise with & found him very responsive when we had a query. Highly recommend a stay here as ideally positioned a easy 5 minute stroll to the Main Street marina & the beach.

We stayed for 3 nights at Zen at Hibiscus Gardens resort, which is perfectly located for the main Macrossan street and all restaurants, shops, and amenities of Port Douglas, less than a 5 minute stroll away. The apt is ideal for 2 people and was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and very well equipped. The owners were very accommodating allowing us to enter slightly earlier than check in time and also leave slightly later then check out time. There was tea and coffee sachets for us to use, although a carton of milk would also have been very welcome, the owners had supplied cool water in the fridge. The apts at the small resort are very close together and have a Balinese inspired look with lovely tropical plants all around. It is not a big resort and some apartments were rented directly through the hotel while ours was rented directly through the owner. There was a young lady on reception desk for two days running who, unfortunately was not particularly helpful, or friendly, as we had thought there was a cafe on site for use to all guests, however, she said it was hotel guests only - although that was after we had to extract the information out of her while she was seemingly distracted with her computer and barely looked up. Not exactly a friendly face. There was another lady on our first day of arrival who was much nicer. We were at Port Douglas to attend a wedding at St Mary's Church and we found Hibiscus was only a short drive away from the church and could have even been a comfortable walk had it not been too warm that particular day. Peter and Keiko the owners are very helpful and we would recommend anyone interested to contact them directly.

WHAT A GEM !

This gorgeous Balinese style apartment is just so relaxing. It's beautifully furnished and equipped . Just a short stroll to the beach and central to Macrossan Street restaurants and shops. Absolutely loved our stay in this lovely Balinese inspired resort. The apartment was lovely, very comfortable and beyond our expectations, we did not want to leave "such a great location" The pools were great even on the cooler days we could swim as they were heated slightly for comfort.
