The property was clean and as described and pictured in the listing. We stayed in winter and had easy access to local snowmobile trails. The home worked well for our dogs as well. We would book this property again for another snowmobile adventure.
Fantastic place to stay, conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Birkie Trailhead. The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that included all the cookware and utensils we needed for a comfortable stay. The only thing missing was a dishwasher, which was only a minor inconvenience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!
We arrived to find mouse feces on each bed and in the kitchen and bathroom sinks, which we had to clean up. Despite that, the property is a lovely, quiet place to stay with no neighbors. There’s no AC, but it stayed cool with plenty of fans. Tons of parking available. We especially loved the fire pit and dock area. The views of the lake are absolutely gorgeous.
We came to Jane's Bay to UTV ride the area. We stayed 4 nights. Love the fact it has 2 bathrooms. The lighting in the kitchen was dim and the fry pans sucked. Those are the only negative things i have to say. We would stay again if coming to the area.

Dinner plates
Only problem we had is for a 3 bedroom cabin they only have 2 dinner plates. Not good if you have over 2 people.
Very clean property with WiFi, laundry and pet friendly. Good sized bedrooms and common area. Location is pretty good with a nice yard and easy access to Cty D. Pier is on Janes Bay with access by boat and a good spot to fish. Only minor issue was listing says there was a charcoal grill but the only one available was a propane grill that was out of propane.
The cabin was very clean and easily accessible. The member that run it are very nice and respond quickly when you have questions and concerns! We will definitely be back this summer!
Pros....Cabin was really nice & comfy, great location ! My Hubs did a lot of fishing but not much was biting ! Plenty of places to eat & hike nearby. Cons... took 45 min to check in cuz cleaning lady was still there. We wanted to grill out but no gas!! All in all it was a nice Vaca !!
We had a very nice and hot stay at Jane's Bay cabin. We had a great time visiting the area and finally seen the elk on our first and second day there. Went up to Superior and Duluth for a day to cool down on Thursday seeing heat indexes were going to reach 100 degrees. On the way up to Superior it was 94 degrees and cooled down to 64 in Superior and Duluth. They said they sell a lot of sweatshirts there because of the temperature.

This was such an amazing property to stay at! The property owners were absolutely wonderful to work with and checked in to ensure everything was going well! The location was perfect for us and we had everything you could need or ask for! We will definitely be staying here again:)
The surroundings were awesome; Fairyland, Lake Namakagon & Namakagon Fen to mention a few.
Thermostat control (heat limiter) & mice infestation were the reasons for the 3-stars. But the furnishings & beds were great - a very cozy place.
My family and I reserved this cabin for the Thanksgiving holiday. We wanted a place that would fit my husband and myself, my parents, in-laws, and brother-in-law, a location where the guys could hunt, a place that accepted dogs, AND a place where we could cook the big Thanksgiving meal. This cabin fit the bill. The kitchen was very well appointed, newer appliances, and there was plenty of room to cook. The location was beautiful, right on a lake which was really pretty. They even had a large newer TV in the living room with streaming service apps all ready to go. Just sign in, and you’re in business. The full bathroom was spacious and very clean, and the half bath was great to have as well. We wanted for nothing while we were there.
The one thing I’d say is that the room with the bunk beds is VERY small. That room really is best suited for kids who may not have suitcases and other items. There is only room for the bunk beds, no dresser, and any bags would probably need to be stored under the bed. It takes some finagling to get the door closed around the bed frame. But, for kids, it would work just fine.
Great place, would recommend.
