Sandy Shores vacation home is a charming 2-bedroom, 2 bath rental located on the shores of popular Lake Namakagon in Wisconsin’s Northwoods. With sandy lake bottom frontage, excellent swimming, private dock, kayaks, charcoal grill, waterfront fire ring and level lakeside yard, you can plan on spending some quality time at the lake during your stay.

The 2-bedroom lake home rental features a spacious living room with skylights and spectacular views of the lake. Relax, kick back and watch your favorite DVD on the flat panel TV. With WiFi Internet, central air, and workout equipment. You’re sure to be comfortably connected and happy during your vacation.

The bright, open kitchen is fully equipped including new kitchen appliances and washer and dryer. There are 2 full bathrooms. The spacious lakeside bedroom has a king bed and walkout deck. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed.

The walkout, unfinished lower level is a perfect place to dry your wet gear. You have use of a tuck under single stall garage and the detached 2 car garage with electric opener along with two kayaks

Lake Namakagon is 3000 acres of four-season fun! In addition to swimming, this full recreation lake in southern Bayfield County is a popular boating, fishing and snowmobiling destination. This lakefront rental has a private dock, western exposure and enjoys close proximity to bars, restaurants and the snowmobile stick trail. In fact, you can ride your snowmobile from the front door onto the lake and Bayfield County snowmobile trails.

This is one of our favorite places to stay!

Spring fishing trip

We have stayed here a few times and always enjoy the location and views. The house is always clean and offers a spectacular view of the lake. We really enjoy the bird clock in the kitchen.

Short stay in early May

Great lakefront location on a very quiet street, Sat on the dock at sunrise and listened to the Loons. House was clean and the perfect size for 4 of us. Would have been nice to have chairs around the fire pit but it was cold when we visited so didn’t really spend a lot of time outdoors.

Annual Trip

Been coming to this lake 37 years. Kids now grandkids. Have stayed at this property before were disappointed we could not get a date in 2023 but very happy we got back in 2024 and now reserved for 2025. All our stays on the lake this is the top two for location and accommodations. I wish there was a way to automatically be offered to renew the the reservation rather then waiting then taking a chance. Great property

The location on Lake Namakagon is great. There’s a nearby boat launch and it’s just a short walk to The Loon Saloon where you can grab grocery essentials, bait, beer, ice and they also serve great pizza and burgers.The dock was perfect for our Tracker and the easy access to the basement to store our fishing gear was nice. The manager provided clear and easy to follow instructions for accessing the property.We will definitely return for another stay.

Nice location

Great location on the lake, peaceful and quiet. Check out Copper Falls if you like to hike! Wish the house had access to the shore from the lake side of the house - but not a huge deal for us.

Heaven in the North Woods

Charming cabin with heavenly views,large sandy beach on beautiful Lake Namagogen. Forest on either side so it is quiet and private. A young fox lived next door! Owner exceptionally helpful.Immaculate with a well stocked kitchen. Large deck off of master. We spent 25 nights and were really happy.

Beautiful spot

We had a great week. Beach and sunsets were beautiful. The property is a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Our only suggestion is to stock the place in a way that other rentals typically do. The cabin is managed by a property manager and it shows - families staying here will need to bring many things with them (eg, towels, paper towels, shampoo, dish towels, dishwasher soap, and perhaps even toilet paper and gargabe bags).
