Lake view was amazing! The screened in porch was our favorite to play games and eat meals. Lots of beds and sleeping areas to choose from. Great place for a weekend trip.

Gorgeous and gloriously peaceful - a clean, comfy house with plenty of room and well-organized info on both the property itself and the local area for travelers of all varieties. As a solo traveler just looking to get away from it all, it was so perfect I even decided to stay longer than I planned. Fortunately, it was available and Kevin was super helpful and welcomed my extended stay. See my previous review for even more info.. would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lovely, spacious home with stunningly beautiful views from literally every window - hope to stay again sometime! 10/10

Wonderful place to stay for snowmobiling. Trails just down the road and plenty of space to move around. Clean and well supplied for extended stays. Would defiantly stay here again. The only thing we would of liked is a bigger tv. The tv was very small for the large basement rec area. Communication with the host was great and answered any questions we had.

Post Christmas get-a-way

Lovely 3 level rental in immaculate condition with all the amenities. Gorgeous views, private, very accommodating for all of our age groups. I had direct access to the owner who responded immediately and was quite pleasant. Will positively return and recommend.

Amazing View

Kevin was very accommodating. He got back to me right away through messages. There was 7 of us and we loved having 3 bathrooms. We hung out in the screened in porch playing games while looking at the lake. Kevin had everything we needed for our stay!

Anderson plus us vacation

Needs some deep cleaning and better furniture. House is poorly organized in the living room. Kitchen is stocked well but dry good storage is lacking. Needs more kid friendly glassware and plates. Cobwebs are plentiful. Kayak and canoe were awesome. Did not rent the pontoon. Beds were comfortable and plenty of bedding supplied.

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway to the wilderness away from the noise and chaos of city life. If you do need anything from town, it’s a relatively simple trip back to Hayward for food or other essentials. I was even able to get instacart delivery when feeling especially lazy. The cabin is on a very large & wooded lot, on the edge of a gorgeous unspoiled lake with a long dock - plenty of privacy. It was very clean and inviting throughout, well stocked with plenty of toiletries, towels, cooking utensils, etc. and books of instructions and local information for every type of trip you could have in mind. It is very large w/three full finished levels, and sleeping arrangements available on each level, so calling it a cabin feels like a bit of an understatement, since I was on a solo trip! I definitely enjoyed the extra feeling of quiet and space. The lack of people/road/airplane sounds and amazingly peaceful atmosphere deep in the woods on the edge of the water was exactly what I was looking for- so much so that I even decided to extend my stay. I could honestly sit on the big screened porch, on the deck, outside the walkout basement level, or out on the dock for hours, just listening to the loons and staring at the stars. Truly fabulous. Also, consistently received very quick and helpful responses from the owner. I know I’ll be looking for another visit here - definitely a 10/10.Thanks again!Melinda

Beautiful and spacious house for family vacaction.

Our family enjoyed all of the space the house had to offer. Each floor (three in total), had its own bathroom and several beds so that our family had plenty of space. The lake was beautiful and the kids enjoyed hours of fishing right from the dock. While the house was clean and we felt comfortable, the house is in need of a deep clean for dust, windows, etc. as it appears it has been some time since this level of cleaning has been performed. I assume this may be a challenge during the summer when the house is rented out week to week. If you're bringing a boat, note that the launch may be challenging as one side was washed out and resulted in a severe drop off. We managed, but it was a bit more effort than we generally see. Overall our family was very happy with our stay and we will look to return in the future.

Beautiful Area

Home was located in such a beautiful area. Very secluded and quiet. Nice to take walks and see the beautiful colors of the leaves. House was very nice with lots of beds for many to stay. Beds were very comfy! Only issues which would have helped make trip a little more enjoyable. Fireplace on main floor was not functioning(informed day before we were to arrive and one of the reasons we picked the house). Kayaks, which were advertised as available, were put away for the season, but I was informed I could take them out of storage but needed to make sure they were put back in the same place. I did this because my wife and I love kayaking, but it involved climbing underneath a pontoon in the garage and then carrying each kayak 50 steps down to the dock and back up at end of trip. 1st world problem, but would’ve been nice to have them by the dock in the first place. Living room could’ve used some more floor lamps, shower liner in upstairs bathroom needed to be changed (was filthy), tv and downstairs fireplace directions need to be updated, but these didn’t deter us from having a wonderful time. Once again, gorgeous area, cute home and it has all you need for a fun time with friends and family.

Wedding Weekend

We needed a house to stay with our children for the weekend of our wedding. The space was perfect. The view was perfect! We loved the screened in porch! Our older kids enjoyed coffee in the morning wrapped in blankets to enjoy the view. We would definitely stay again.

Peaceful location

The house has 3 bathrooms which was great for our family and extended family of 12. The Pontoon was a perfect addition. The screened in porch was our favorite gathering area for games. The fishing, both from the dock and on the flow-age was very successful the time we were there. The owner was timely in answering all of our questions. conversation.

Family of 5 enjoyed our stay

My family of 5 (kids ages 15, 11 and 9) had a great week at this Tiger Cat Flowage cabin. The property was clean and spacious enough for all to stretch out and have plenty of space over three finished floors. The accommodations were clean and nice and we spent plenty of time on the screened porch. The listing doesn’t have a lot of detail, but it’s worth noting that the cabin is perched somewhat high above the lake, with about 50 stairs to climb in between. The stairs are in good condition and we appreciated the railing since grandma visited for a day. That said, the view from the cabin is beautiful. Once lakeside, there isn’t much of a swimmer-friendly entry to the lake other than off the dock. There are plenty of weeds, but our kids got over that. The lake is nice and quiet- perfect for paddling. Lots of wildlife to enjoy on this very wooded property. Our family enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic home in the woods.

Our family was in Hayward for a family wedding. The location was close and convenient to town. The home has an amazing screen porch where we hung out the majority of time we spent there. It was so peaceful. Everyone had a great time and it was everything you see on the pics. I would highly recommend staying here.

Secluded north woods getaway

Our family really enjoyed our getaway at this property. The house is secluded with a great view of the beautiful lake. We saw bald eagles each day and the kids caught a few small northern pike. The house is perfectly set up for a multi-generational family getaway; the kids enjoyed the basement and the main floor is nice for reading or playing games. Thanks very much for a very nice stay!

This home is amazing!

We had 7 people with us and there was more than enough room. The kitchen is stocked with absolutely everything you need to cook. We kayaked and stand up paddle boarded a ton on the Tiger Cat Flowage. The kids had fun jumping off the dock. We’ll be back!
