BUILT in 2019! Charming, cozy, beautiful, quiet, safe, and comfy in-law guest suite (346 sqft) with private entrance, and yard, located minutes of driving from San Francisco, San Francisco airport (SFO), BART, CalTrain, and freeways. It's in the walking distance to supermarket, restaurants, dry cleaning, and liquor store. The suite has full kitchen, stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, high speed internet (150+ Mbps), 55" TV, outside heater, and BBQ grill! Perfect for tourists/business guests! We also have an EV charger (50 Amp, level 2, 240 V, electricity paid by guests)

Please make sure you enter the exact number of guests. Anyone who enters the house is considered as a guest regardless of staying overnight.

For the safety and security of the guests there are two security cameras outside the property facing the street and one outside the property facing backyard for both fences.

Other things to note
We have a professional cleaning service that details and sanitizes the entire 5 bedroom house before and after every guest. We guarantee that it will be immaculately cleaned before you arrive. Sometimes, a Roomba robot sweeps and mobs the house before our guests arrives. Our professional cleaners also wash all sheets, towels, pillow covers, and blanket covers (duvets) before and after each guest. Also, we pay living wage (Over 4 times of the minimum wage) to our cleaners who live locally.

Please make sure you follow all the house rules (no party, no pet, no smoking inside, no illegal file downloading, quiet hours, etc). In a rare case that a guest break each rule, a $250 in penalty will be charged. Also, please be clear about the total number of guests when booking this house. If you are trying to host a large group, there will be some additional charges but you must communicate to the host prior to check-in.

- The house has no shoe policy. So you can expect a very clean house. The unit is slightly above the ground and has several steps from the ground level.

- Please be very clear about the total number of guests when booking this home. Anybody that will be entering our home is considered a guest, regardless of if they stay overnight.

- Check-out time is at 10 am. The cleaners are coming right after your check-out to prepare it for the next group of guests. Any additional hour of stay without notice will be charged $200/hr. Because the next guests will be unhappy if the house is not ready for their check-in. Also cleaners are scheduled in advance to come right after guest check out. For check-out delays we should either pay rescheduling fee or pay for the waiting time of the cleaners.

- Residents of San Francisco Bay Area must message about their plan before booking.

The guest agrees that by booking this unit, he/she will have no residential tenancy right regardless of stay length. This is a legally binding contract in the state of California. All guests who book for over 3 weeks must sign a rental agreement before check-in.

The unit was sufficient for our purpose. I wouldn't have children there or more than a couple because of limited space. Nice to have parking & secure gate access. Crowded area & difficult to see backing out, but easy access to everything. Needs a new futon/couch & pillows. Doesn't have baking sheet, but the pots & pans are stovetop and oven safe. Host was excellent! Responds promptly & very helpful with recommendations. I would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at George’s property. He gave us detailed instructions so check in was a breeze. We spent most of our days exploring San Francisco, Yosemite, and PCH. It was nice to come home to comfy bed in a safe neighborhood. We will be checking out his other properties also. He thinks of everything that you might need. George's place in Pacifica was awesome! It was in a quiet neighborhood that felt safe and away from the main roads but still just a short trip in any direction to anywhere you'd want to go (San Francisco, etc.). The guesthouse itself was charming and had every amenity you could think of from phone charges of all kinds, coffee supplies, and more. It was also extremely clean and ready to go from the moment we walked in. George was also very communicative and helpful and was very gracious in our requests when we reached out to him. Quick to respond and willing to go the extra mile! Most importantly though, and I have to give George HUGE props for this, was the checkout process. As many are aware, many hosts have gotten absolutely ridiculous with their checkout requirements, often times giving the person staying their a laundry list of items to complete before leaving while still having the audacity of charging a cleaning fee. George's checkout process was dead simple: Lock the door when you leave. No folding towels, no running the dishwasher, just pack up and head out! Didn't mean to rant, but that has been one of my biggest gripes over the last few years and it really makes me smile that George is taking the extra care to be such a great host. I would highly recommend using any of his properties in the future!

Lovely place overall

Overall this was a lovely place, esp. for us fog-lovers! And we're thinking of staying here when we come back in December. It's easy to find, on a very quiet street, sweet neighborhood, close to shopping, restaurants, freeways, and to the shore. It was very clean and well-stocked and all the arrangements went without a hitch. But a few issues (at least for us) prevented us from giving 5 stars. First, the size of the TV and the way it's mounted in such a small space invites walking right into it for both tall(6'2") and short(5'4") guests. We had to shift the angle in order to walk safely past it and even then it was still in the way. Second, the auto-light in the bathroom is very bright which is problematic for guests whose sleep is disrupted by sudden light. There seemed to be no way to turn it off or dim it, though we managed to blocked it with a towel. The smaller plug-in night light was fine. Third, I almost cut my hand on a large knife while reaching into the kitchen utensils drawer. A knife that size should be stored where guests can easily see it. Fourth, the air freshener was overpowering and we had to unplug it immediately. This could be a big problem for guests who are really sensitive to strong odors. Fifth, the auto-open trash can lid needed a new battery or plug, it wasn't working for us.

Great place and location

I came to this property because of a business trip to Palo Alto and also to visit friends, as I am a Bay Area local. I was so pleased by the cleanliness and excellent maintenance of the apartment. The location was easy to access and had free parking for guests. I had easy access to the whole Bay Area and was able to enjoy the local beauty of Pacifica. The owner communicated frequently and it was quite easy to access the property. This is an excellent and relaxing place to stay. I highly recommend it.
