About this property

Renovated Retro Style + Park Views

This 3-bedroom cottage is situated on the beach side of trendy Pt Elliot, opposite the beautiful Lakala Reserve. The reserve has three ponds, fountains, kids' play equipment, trees, ducks and a market every second Saturday. It is a lovely location to walk the dogs or just enjoy the relaxing views from the house. The beach and local cafes, pubs, book shops and more are a short walk away.

The property has a retro beach house theme and has a contemporary kitchen (with dishwasher), a new bathroom with walk-in shower, and timber floorboards throughout. There is a big deck to the rear of the property (with a gas BBQ) and a porch to the front with a café setting.

Bedding Configuration
3 Bedrooms (sleeps 6 people):
• One BR with 1 Queen bed
• One BR with 1 Double bed
• One BR with Bunk beds (2x Singles)

The beds will be freshly made for guest arrival with sheets, pillowcases and quilt covers. Bath towels, mats, hand towels and tea towels are all supplied.

Pet Friendly

The backyard is fully fenced. The fence is dog-proof wire fencing and is approx 1.2M high. The backyard is a garden. There is a big park across the road for dogs that love a good run on grass.

Extra Guest Charge:
Our standard rate is for 2 guests only. Please note that an additional fee will apply $30 per person per night in excess of 2 guests.

Note: If an extra guest after 2 is staying for 1 night only, it's $60 for 1 night.

You have booked the property for a certain number of people (as specified on your booking). If you would like to have extra guests stay at any time, please contact us in advance. We will advise if this is possible and, if so, the additional cost.

Our cleaners plan their daily schedule for the number of guests booked in at each property. If undeclared guests stay, the rate charged retrospectively will be double the standard rate.

Lovely holiday home

A well equipped, comfortable and very clean home with a beautiful outlook over Lakala Reserve. Walking distance to the Strand and beach. Our dog also had a wonderful time and we will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic family home

We loved out time at PETLET. The location was wonderful with a short walk to the beach and shops and the park directly across the road. We were really impressed with how well it was set up it was for our Cavalier. He was safe in both the backyard and deck or out on the front deck watching the world go by.

We were impressed with the property. It offered everything we required, was configured well for a small dog, and was perfectly located in Port Elliot. The property was very clean and air conditioning worked well on the 40+ degree day we experienced. Would recommend to those with a pet.

This was my second stay at this property. Very conveniently located and great access to walking tracks and the beach at the end of the street. Very comfortable, clean and well presented. Rear porch and laundry light not working which made access at night a bit tricky. Few extra cooking utensils would be good too. I seemed to have problems contacting the agent Stayz regarding my bond refund and exit review. May be best to book directly with PetLet in future. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks

Quiet and convenient location

Good tv, comfortable bed. Not a very good yard for the dog as no grass, just dirt but fencing was good. View out to park was pleasant but back deck looked onto a shed. House smelt a bit to begin with so had to air the lounge room. No cover for the car and our car got covered in bird droppings so we had to go to Mitre 10 to buy cleaning products. No doggie door.

Regarding the lack of a car cover, while the property doesn't have a garage as listed, we do advise guests to park inside the property at the back via the driveway on Beaumont Street, as mentioned in our guidebook. We understand how you feel about the bird droppings, and while it's a natural occurrence, we apologise for the inconvenience it caused. We're also sorry about the initial smell and will address this promptly with our housekeeping team to ensure it doesn't happen again. Lovely property but we think the non supply of towels is unusual these days and surprising when other linen is supplied. At least highlight the fact further up the property description and in bold print. We missed the fact as it was a late booking and we were more concerned with the number of bedrooms. Drying myself with yesterday’s shirt and a hairdryer was a challenge!

this is a great little place to stay, you have a view over the park, can walk everywhere and the house itself has everything you could need.we had a drink on the front balcony every night and it has a great covered back area and as we had quite cold weather the electric blankets were a real treat, just a great place to stay

Great little house with everything you need for you and your pet.

My traveling companion and my pets all loved our stay in Port Elliott in this house. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. The yard is enclosed so the dogs could do their business without any concerns. It was nice and quiet too. I loved the tv, with Stan and Netflix, as well as the huge collection of books. My dogs loved walking on the beach and the beautiful park with lake out front was beautiful to look out over from the fenced porch. The dogs loved watching the ducks in particular.

Wonderful mini break

Great communication from the property manager. Accommodation was really good, spacious, well equipped, near all local amenities . Appreciated the booklet sharing local knowledge of the area. Would stay again. Difficult to find half decent places that accommodate pets. Highly recommend.

lovely quiet area a few minutes to beach and overlooking a park. very clean and cosy. the dogs loved exploring the garden which has a nice sunny corner to sit and watch the native birds.
