Self contained affordable comfortable studio apartment with level access from the private off street car parking area.

This is the ideal place for a short stay or a business trip as it is conveniently located within minutes of the North Hobart restaurant strip, cafes, State Theatre, hotels with live entertainment most evenings and galleries.

Public bus stop within one minutes walk from the accommodation. A 8 minute ride to CBD.

The apartment is spacious, warm and cosy, comfortable and well appointed open-plan with separate kitchen and dining area. There is a separate bathroom, toilet and laundry including a front loading machine, iron and ironing board.

This modern accommodation has a very comfortable double bed with all linen and bedding is supplied. Suitable for single person or a couple. This apartment is not serviced during your stay but supplies can be requested at anytime.

If you love walking this is a great spot, I walked to the Botanical Gardens, The woman’s factory, to the information center where most tour pick up were. Takes 35 minutes to get there. Also a 3 minute walk to a great IGA. Apartment is old but got everything you need. Host was great picked me up from the airport and showed me what I needed to know about the place, the neighborhood and any other questions I had. Good place to rest up after day tours nice and quiet even saw a Pademelon outside window and birds.

The apartment was well stocked with kitchen appliances, bedding and bathroom supplies. We appreciated the close proximity to hospital and supermarket. Although we did find that wi-fi was spasmodic we appreciated that the unit was quiet, warm and comfortable.

March 2024 visit.

Having read some reviews I chose to stay in the Stayz apartment in Augusta St New Town Hobart. Our host was friendly and contactable and provided us with hot cross buns and Easter eggs for our Easter stay. It was a lovely gesture to welcome us.

Great apartment with excellent host!

The apartment is clean, cozy, and well equipped. The location is ideal for people without cars as the supermarkets and restaurants are a close walk and the metro into Hobart CBD is very convenient. Julie is amazing to communicate with, all information provided, quick response to messages, and thoughtful welcome goodies provided.

Home away from home

The Augusta apartment is a gorgeous self containted apartment with everything I needed for 2 weeks in Hobart. Only a 20 min walk to Newtown shops, a 30 minute walk to the CBD and with 4 buses running every 10 mins its perfectly located to be able to be out and about in Hobart, and come back to relax without a long trip home. I loved the unique accoutrements - fresh local apples and flowers, ground vittoria coffee and shortbread - were such a thoughtful an welcoming touch. I would highly recommend this wonderful apartment and host, and would definitely visit again in future.

The property managers really put thought into this as everything you needed was there. I woke up after a late arrival and there was a coffee pod machine , milk apples and juice all complimentary. Iga is just around the corner and uber into town $10.
