HARGREAVES HOUSE: Bright

Hargreaves House is the destination you have been looking for to getaway with 1 or 2 families or a group, a short stroll from everything Bright has to offer.

This spacious, fully equipped home offers 2 living areas, open plan dining and plenty of windows to take in the mountain vista and let the sun shine in.

The comfy lounge features a flat screen TV with loads of DVDs, books & games to keep you entertained.  Reverse cycle heating and cooling and a lovely outlook.

Your fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine overlooks your spacious dining & sitting area with table for 10 and gorgeous wood fire.  Relax with a good book by the fire or enjoy the afternoon sun.  A TV with Ipod/CD player offers entertainment while you enjoy a game around the table.

4 comfortable bedrooms offer easy family living.  The front of the house offers a queen room with ensuite and 2nd bedroom with single bunk & bed.  The rear of the house offers another queen room and 4th bedroom with single bunk & bed, making the layout ideal for 2 families. 

All bedding & linen is included for queen beds, all single beds will require guests to BYO doonas/blankets.

The single lock up garage is also ideal to store bikes or your toys, a full laundry is also an added bonus.

Amazing Location - Catering to large families

Perfect location, exceptionally clean and well maintained with a capacity to sleep up to 10. Design of the house makes it feel spacious even with large families, the property managers are fantastic with communication. Already planning our next trip back

What a great place for a blended family & doggo to enjoy a few nights away from the craziness of the city. The team at Hargreaves House have thought of everything to truly make it feel like home away from home! We can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic large house for families

We were in town for a longer weekend for a cycling event and to enjoy the Alpine roads. The added bonus to this house was a garage for the bikes with plenty of hooks to keep the bikes tidy. Another bonus was the large garden for the dogs, the loved having a space to sniff around.. House it's self was very comfortable and plenty of ammenities for our stay. I would stay here again with a larger party, or even just a family

Great location with-in the heart of Bright

The accommodation provided by this house is commendable, primarily thanks to its incredibly convenient location. Heating is available in the living areas through two air conditioners. One minor challenge we faced was locating the water heater boost switch, which required us to seek assistance from the staff. Although traditional room heating was absent, the heating blankets provided effectively countered any chilliness. Nonetheless, having in-room heating would have undoubtedly increased our comfort level. Despite these minor issues, our stay was more than satisfactory, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Happy Hargreaves House

House was found eventually as number system has changed and not updated on paperwork. No keys inside as stated. House was clean and spacious with large bedrooms and nice sitting areas. Kitchen was very user friendly. Main Bathroom was a bit rundown and the shower needed work. Fire produced heat quickly was a lovely place to sit defrosting after our snow trips. Overall a great place to stay.

The house was great, easy to find, great layout providing ample space for parents and children. Great for 2 families giving adequate privacy. Kitchen well serviced and functional. We would definitely stay there again.

Great layout of house and location

Stayed with another family, the two sleeping zones with kitchen in between was great. Also loved that it was walking distance to town and the wood fire in the kitchen area, which kept us cozy on the cool June nights.

My 4 sisters and myself took our 88 year old mother and her little dog for a stay at Hargreaves House Bright recently and had a lovely time together. The house was perfect for us all - so warm and comfortable and everything we needed to share some good food, time together and memories. A quality house and a lovely town.
