Perfect peaceful getaway. Loved every minute of our stay here . Comfy bed, very relaxing interior design and ample of wood for the fireplace. Close enough to Jindabyne for a quick shop. Will definitely ba back for a longer stay next time.
We had an amazing time at Bush Grove. Gary has done an incredible job at building this gorgeous cabin which holds everything you possibly need. The whole cabin is beautiful with high ceilings and gives off proper Man from Snowy River vibes with the furnishings and paintings. The cabin was easy to find and you do need to go down a dirt track for 4km but our normal car handled it fine. We also took Gary’s advice and checked out the river. Walking down was a bit sketchy as the gravel road was quite slippery but we managed to get there in one piece. The river setting is spectacular and so peaceful. It was nice to chill here for a bit before getting back and warming up by the fire.Overall we had a fabulous stay and a real change of scenery. Was lovely seeing deer, wallabies, kangaroos and bird life too!
We had an amazing stay at Gary's place. He has built an impressive place with craftsmanship and great taste, we are envious. The view was beautiful, the river was gorgeous and refreshing. We were so impressed with the place, we added an extra night on arrival. Highly recommend Thanks again Gary for your hospitality!
Gary is a salt of the earth, warm and welcoming. The cabin is everything that the pictures show. Isolated, warm, tranquil, beautiful. My wife and I had a remarkable few days forgetting about the world and enjoying the Snowy Mountains. We will be back!
A great stay for a short break!Gary was an awesome host and the home was just what we needed to escape the city! The log fireplace certainly made home very warm and cosy. Great views and plenty of wildlife!
Such a beautiful place to stay in nature, the location was exactly what we were after. The attention to detail in the cottage was amazing and Gary's welcome was so lovely. He also supplied firewood for our entire stay which was very generous!
The best weekend ive had in a long time. Can really unwind here from Sydney.. totally refreshed! Gary is a legend, so helpful and friendly and there is plenty to explore. We are thinking about booking another trip very soon.Top secret spot dont tell anyone! :)
Wonderful large country cottage in an iconic location
We had a very enjoyable stay at Bush Grove. The cottage has a comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom and a fantastic view over the valley down to the Snowy River. A great place to stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bush Grove, the place was comfortable and had all the creature comforts of home while still feeling like a cozy log cabin in the woods. The location is great, only a short run into town but still feel like you’re out in the bush.
The lodge had everything you could ever need. Amazing location, incredible mountains setting with awesome views and a host who was the best ever. A real bush experience only 20 minutes from Jindabyne. Would love to come back and explore more of this beautiful property.
