5-star. The space was an amazing basecamp for our small family's adventures around the area. The downstairs area was our favourite space to be together with a fireplace, pooltable and TV.
If your in the region to fish what Eucumbene has to offer this is an excellent property with everything you need. Excellent location and very friendly hosts. It's also an affordable choice wiyh an excellent view of the lake.
We really enjoyed
Everything was good and ready
We enjoyed a lot the billiards pool
Just some lights didn’t work and made hard for one us to look and play game with us
Thanks

Pros.Large place with a great view and close to the lake. Bedrooms are spread from each other which gives you less noise and privacy. Large dining area and seating as well as balcony deck overlooking lake which is great for summer but a bit cold for winter. Plenty of parking space for cars. Plenty of firewood available and cut. Extra bar fridge in lower level.Cons.Have to provide own linen which is mentioned but didn't know it also included hand towels as well as bathmats, be aware. Shower was also leaking which meant had to be careful not to wet our socks when going to bathroom ( especially during winter) . Spa didn't reach a comfortable temperature and teenagers jumped in and out in a few minutes and was not usable, maybe ok in Summer. BBQ, wasn't clean and very small for a large place which should accommodate 2 families. We were fortunate we brought our own as a back up.Take note there is no air conditioning, only wall heater on the top level which is on a timer, so it switches off during the night and it gets cold in winter. Although there is a fireplace on the bottom level which has a pipe running through the top (and is great when using during the day) when the wood runs down at night it gets cold unless someone is up through the night adding more. Even then, when you have the bedroom doors closed for privacy it gets cold. The kids complained about that. The pillows we had were terrible, (at least in the main bedroom as I didn't ask the other family), were flat.
We had a fabulous new year break here. The house, views and hot tub were great and we caught heaps of rainbow trout with Mark at Eucumbene Fishing Charters! Gorgeous spot and top house.
Great location, very easy to communicate with the host. Lovely area with views of the lake and very nice, friendly neighbours. Unfortunately there was a lot of dust and 90% of the dishes and glasses we used had to be cleaned before use as they were filthy. Spa had a lot of sand and dust inside it and the chemicals were far too intense.
We loved our stay in your property. We would have loved for the sheets/towels to have been provided but we knew they weren't - would have just made packing a little easier and allowed us to relax the moment we arrived instead of making beds etc.
the house set up was great for two families.
Beautiful home with a beautiful view. Arrived with the fireplace burning nice and warm. Very helpful and friendly owner. Only a short drive to Selwyn. Our family had a great time with the stay.
Fabulous home perfect for our family. Highly recommend.
Ideally located. Beautiful home and arrived to a lit fireplace creating cosy atmosphere right from the start. A wonderful gesture. Thankyou Vicki. Everything you need is there for you. Grandsons had a fabulous time in the spa, tobogganing at Mt Selwyn and snow fights in Thredbo. Got to experience the falling snow which was magical. Boys loved feeding the parrots which they called fat boys and you only had to look at them to see why. Rainbows End was recommended to us and I highly pass on this recommendation. Any enquiries I had prior to our arrival Vicki answered promptly. Thankyou again. Will be back.
