Home Away From Home! Large executive home with pool.

New - now has 7 aircon's, including one in every bedroom!

The kitchen includes a bench-top reverse osmosis water filter, quality Breville semi-auto espresso machine, dishwasher, and microwave. The three bathrooms include showers and toilets plus one has a bath. Linen is provided for your convenience on the end of the beds, ready to be made up.

Want a good nights sleep? The master bedroom has a SuperKing split bed with quality Tepur mattresses (cost $18k for suite), an ensuite, air-con and a walk-in wardrobe. Second bedroom has a trundler bed so can be used as either two king single beds or a queen. There are two bunks and three single beds in the other three bedrooms (non required bedrooms will not be accessible). The house ideally suited to 9 people but the extra beds (top bunks) are there if you have an extra-large group.

Outside boasts a fantastic entertaining area with barbeque. The award-winning inground pool is not huge but great for cooling off on those hot days and is fully fenced for safety. There are bikes available for both children and adults alike to use. Very handy as out the back gate is space galore. Over 15km of concrete walkway beside the Bulimba creek, with additional bushwalks, mountain bike trails and parks off sidetracks. The backyard is fully fenced.
The home has a separate laundry with a washing machine and a dryer for the rare occasions when the sun isn't shining. It truely is a home away from home!

Situated in Mansfield on a quiet cul-de-sac, the closest bus stop is only 600 metres or so away and the 2 major motorways only 5 minutes drive away! If you have your own vehicle/s there is onsite parking. You are ideally situated to travel wherever takes your fancy, be it the Gold or Sunshine Coasts, the theme parks or into the city or Southbank (14 minutes by car). QE II Hospital is approximately 12 minutes' drive and the Mater Children's Hospital is approximately 12 minutes away and it's 25mins to the Brisbane Airport. You also have 2 major shopping centres within 7 minutes drive - Westfield Garden City and Carindale - as well as a plaza with a supermarket and petrol station within minutes.

With all these features in an executive home, yet family-friendly with children's toys, books and games, this lovely home is ideally suited to any family or large group wanting to enjoy what Brisbane and the surrounding area has to offer.

Great Family Holiday Home

Great stay in Mansfield

The house had everything we needed and then some! There is a fabulous nature trail right behind the property, we walked there every morning and saw koalas and wallabies nearly every time. Stuart was a great host, when we told him we were traveling from America and coming in early, he went out of his way to provide an early checkin for us. We highly recommend staying there

Nice place to stay

The home has everything you would need and more. Disappointed that linnen was included but we had to make our own beds when we got there and had to strip the beds on our departure. For the amount paid as a service fee plus a cleaning fee the beds should ha e been made. Otherwise, the place was nice.

Many places don’t provide linen. We do for your convenience if you want it, but you do need to make up your own beds. The cleaning fee actually doesn’t actually cover the full cost of cleaning and linen to be washed, dried and folded. We subsidise this for our guests. The ‘service fee’ is nothing to do with us, this is charged by Vrbo / Stayz for using their platform. Hope this helps to clarify the costs.

Was a nice place. Air conditioner in one of bedrooms broke down and couldn’t be fixed while we were there. Owner did try his best to help out but no one works over Xmas period. Shame people before us annoyed the neighbors so as a result we couldn’t enjoy outside area after 10pm.

This property was exactly as described and we enjoyed our stay. Stuart was very easy to contact when needed and communication was great. The pool was great during the hot Brisbane summer. If we are ever back in Brisbane we would stay here again.

Everything we needed in an excellent location.

The house was quite good for our holiday. The pool was an added bonus and got a lot of use. The park was easy to access and provided a great space to walk around. The location was perfect for our itinerary located centrally between the city and south Brisbane. Not too far to the theme parks. However, for 6 adults and 2 young children, another double bed would have been preferred and we needed to hire a cot so there was extra expense there.

A true home away from home

You could truly not ask or want for anything. The place is in a quiet neighbourhood, being both close to the pacific highway to get to places and the City being only 20 minutes away, and public transport close at hand as well. Were there for my daughters wedding and the family just raved about with 2 lounges room for all. With 3 bathrooms and toilet's there was no waiting. Pool while small was enough to sit in and enjoy. Books to read, bikes to ride, large TV to view and basics of food there to start you off make this a true home away from home. The one thing to watch is there is only one double bed rest are singles, so suits one family. Cannot thank Stu and his family enough it was an awesome place.

Fantastic Family Home!
