Milltree Cottage Getaway

Just 1 hr (97kms) from Perth to totally unwind in this beautiful cottage set amongst the tall jarrah trees of Dwellingup. This newly built replica mill cottage can sleep up to 6. Features three big bedrooms, all with Queen Beds and electric blankets....

All linen supplied including towels. We are an Adult only getaway.

Wood fire/air conditioner for all year comfort with TV and DVD. A fully equipped large kitchen/dining area plus deck outback with BBQ supplied.

A Little On Dwellingup...
A great little hidden gem in W.A and if nature's your thing, Dwellingup delivers in spades. It's one of only a handful of town sites which offer world-class tails.
Conveniently located, we are close to town and 200m from State Forest for lovely walks, a 10 minute drive to the Murray River for canoeing, swimming and picnics. Choose from 7 different day walks on the Bibbulman Track or for those after a Forest Cycling Adventure take a ride on the World Class Munda Biddi Bike Trail. There is also the incredible, newly built Trees Adventures - In Lane Poole Park. You'll also find wineries, café's, art gallery and a world famous Heritage Centre.

We are just a 5 minutes walk to the train station where you can climb aboard the train to see the forest from either a steam train (in winter months) or a diesel- powered converted open freight wagon with tram seating.
On Saturday nights, the dining cars come out where you can have a dining experience from yesteryear. The large picture windows give an eerily beautiful view of the forest lit by the train's strategically placed lights.

Absolutely loved our weekend getaway. The location was fantastic, the house had every thing necessary.Beautiful back yard to sit back and enjoy the surroundings whilst listening to the birds sing. Why they chose this property

Having been fond visitors and campers in younger years to Dwellingup & Lane Poole, we were thrilled to find this property which was a piece of crown state forest. We have kept many of the old trees and have a cleared fire pit out the back for winter stays. Milltree Cottage was built as a replica of an original early 1900's mill cottage though hosting many creature comforts of today's times to become a home away from home escape.
