Gully Cottage - Pet Friendly


Gully Cottage is a well appointed one bedroom cottage suitable for a couple or 2 people travelling together. Built from locally made rammed earth, with stunning ocean views. The cottage has reverse cycle air conditioning, so no matter what the season, you will be comfortable day and night. The lounge in the sitting room can easily be converted into a second bed if required. We have a maximum of 2 people. There are basic cooking facilities in the kitchen and all crockery/cutlery is provided.
There is plenty of parking space and loads of room for a boat or trailer.
No matter if you stay for a day or a week - you'll love the warm country charm of Gully Cottage.
Gully Cottage is ideally located as a base to explore the Central West region during the spectacular wildflower season from August to October.

Please note, we do allow single night stays, however for busy and popular times (such as long weekends, Easter and Christmas), we will reserve the right to accept bookings or 2 or more nights as a minimum.

We allow you to bring your dog with you and to stay inside the cottage. We supply a blanket for your dog, a dog bowl and a 3m leash if you need to secure your dog outside. We do require a pet surcharge to be paid at the time of your stay - $20.

Locality

Rudds Gully is conveniently located between historic Greenough and the City of Geraldton. The property is located just off the Brand Highway near Cape Burney and the Greenough River Mouth. Great fishing, walk trails, windsurfing and the beach are all close by.

Enjoy the peace and quiet of Gully Cottage. Everything is provided. Feed the ducks, who will soon be your best friends that look forward to seeing you in the morning for a feed of left over toast!

Lovely accommodation

I absolutely love staying here. It's so quiet and it's perfect for my dog. It's deceptively close to town even though it's on a farm.I will definitely be staying here again. Very friendly hosts too.

Secluded stay

Beautiful secluded property with gorgeous views. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. No oven but every other kitchen device you could think of Our only criticisms would be :no wifi :the fold out lounge could have been more comfortable (mattress topper may help) and :only 2 windows had curtains (bathroom windows were just clear glass) Thanks for having us!

Geraldton getaway

The location is fabulous. The cottage was clean, pet friendly and nice. The only thing I would change is frost or add curtains/ blinds on the big window in the bathroom for more privacy, and add a small 15ml longlife milk in the fridge to go with the provided coffee. Would highly recommend 😍

Prefect stopover

Perfect stopover on way to and from Coral Bay. Just off highway with plenty of room to park van without having to unhitch. Lovely clean cottage - could easily stay longer.

Perfect Home from Home!

Our stays at Gully Cottage are always so easy - simple check-in, Linda the property owner is super helpful and welcoming, and our dogs have always been made to feel just at welcome. I had medical appointments in Geraldton, as I had to stay in Geraldton for 3 days we made the decision to take our puppies with us.We had access to the land and were able to take our dogs for a walk anytime of day.The cottage was beautiful and so clean, w didn’t get to meet the host as she was ill at the time of our stayI would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone with or without pets.I would stay here again for sure Beautiful sunsets too
