The Polehouse complex is of 2 storeys, with the owner's house above, the 2br unit on the lower level (still enjoying fabulous views) and the 2 storey 1br unit semi-detached from the main house. The property faces NE across the lake at the very bottom of Scenic Ct on the left. The garden contains native plants, fruit trees and a wide selection of herbs. NOTE: Guests need to BRING THEIR OWN LINEN (Q/S AND SINGLE UPPER and LOWER sheets [the upper sheets prevent the doonas coming in contact with the skin], pillow slips and towels). If they can't, they can easily pick it up cheaply at op shops along the way. FREE wi-fi is available. Note a 4 NIGHT MINIMUM BOOKING applies, except for Christmas/Jan when it is 7 nights. This listing refers to the 2br unit.

Property
The Polehouse is located in the hilly Karbeethong area of Mallacoota, with close access to the lake and National Park. The main town is situated about 5 minutes away along a scenic lakeshore road. The property faces North across the lake and a farm with grazing cattle, picking up sea breezes and plenty of sun. The ocean is situated to the NE. Sunrise can be enjoyed across the lake, and the Howe Range turns pink as sunset approaches. Being at the bottom of a court, there is no through traffic. Guests often stay on the property most of the day to relax and take in the stunning views. They are encouraged to use herbs from the garden in their cooking.
