Exciting new as of 1/4/18 - Anchorage 4 has just had a complete revamp and is just back into the rental pool after being under construction due to cyclone Debbie
Both apartments over look the Anchorage's private swimming pool, the balcony is facing north which is a great position to combat the sun & bad weather most days, so you get full use of the beautiful large balconies and magnificent views.
The apartment has full kitchen with granite bench tops, two way bathroom with separate toilet, living area has sofa beds with inner spring mattress for extra guests. Living area is spacious and comfortable for 2 to 4 guests to enjoy a perfect holiday

The Resort

While staying at the Anchorage you get full use of resort facilities eg. swimming pools, gym, tennis, putt putt, golfing range, go karting, snorkeling, boat hire, organized tours to close islands, many restaurants, convenience stores, movie hire, variety shops, internet cafe.
Hamilton Island has it's own airport and ferry terminal from the main land, free transfers on arrival and departure are included with your stay.
The Anchorage has a private buggy which gets you around the island in no time.
If your into walking, there are plenty of bush walks and hills to keep you fit.
There is as little or as much for any one to do, it's up to you

Nice apartment and good location

The apartment was cosy, had a fantastic view and had all the accommodations which we hoped for. We were very happy with our stay there.

Not 100% as advertised....

The apartment itself is gorgeous; very accommodating & comfortable. As someone who likes to cook however, the kitchen facilities were disappointing eg: broken and/or damaged utensils, missing accessories ie: a coffee plunger but no beaker to use it with, etc...

Beautiful apartment in gorgeous place

We really enjoyed this well appointed apartment which had everything we needed. Comfortable for 4 people. Loved driving the buggy around and swimming in the beautiful pool. Everything taken care of and it was great to receive such detailed and helpful information prior to arrival. I highly recommend this apartment to other groups.

Clean and tidy

It was clean and tidy. The buggy was good for getting around island. We had someone meet at island when landed with the buggy and was allowed to use buggy after check out which was handy as our flight was a few hours later I would stay there again

We purchased our apartment at the Anchorage from new, my husband and I were on holidays at Hamilton at the time and as you do we got side tracked with the beautiful Hamilton Island and came home signed up for an apartment. My husband being a builder was so impressed with the building and the finishes. Last year in 2017 cyclone Debbie decided to cause a bit of destruction but it was a time for a make over anyway, so the apartment has had a make-over and is in tip top condition again.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with the Anchorage as it was in a unique position up on a hill overlooking Dent Island with amazing views and a huge balcony.
The apartment is quite private overlooking the pool and with a private buggy you can get anywhere in minutes
