VACATING: TOWELS AND LINEN ARE TO BE WASHED AND LEFT ON THE LINE . Signposted for you in the bedroom is fresh linen to be put placed on the bed as per arrival.. If this is a problem ring us so we can organise someone to bring in the linen off the line.
IF YOU CANNOT ACHIEVE THIS FEEL FREE TO BRING YOUR OWN LINEN OR A $80.00 FEE CAN BE PAID INSTEAD.
VACATION VILLAGE Caravan Park .1 bedroom cottage, beautifully set, self contained and air conditioned.
All linen supplied. Security pass required to enter and leave.
KITCHEN Double fridge/ freezer, ice maker & filtered water. Fan forced oven, gas hotplates, Dishwasher, Microwave, Juicer and coffee machine. All cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
LOUNGE 2 seater couch, flat screen TV, Bluetooth speaker, desk and printer.
BEDROOM Queen sized bed, built in robes, mirror and ceiling fan.
OUTSIDE PRIVATE ENSUITE Shower, toilet, basin, washing machine and trough.
OUTSIDE Shade sail, gas BBQ Webber, sink, table, 2 chairs and clothes line. Parking space for car and trailer or small boat.
VILLAGE Large swimming pool and small shop. Sorry, no pets allowed.
Situated 4.5km from Chinatown. Close to; The Broome Golf Course, Gantheaume Point, Broome Race Course, Cable Beach, The Port Jetty, Boat Ramp, Town Beach; 'Staircase To The Moon' and Markets, Outdoor Sun Cinema and many shops & Restaurants.
Upon arrival guests are asked to complete an inspection of the property using our checklist provided. Please abide by the Rental Rules which are displayed. Guests will pay a `Refundable Damage Deposit'. Any loss or damage of property, or other costs incurred to restore property to original condition will be deducted from the 'Refundable Damage Deposit. Please leave the home clean and exactly the way you found it.

Such a lovely, peaceful and quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely and clean too.

Great Accomodation

Excellent accomodation, everything you need. A little far out from Broome so no buses but Taxis and scooters were very handy. Would stay here again :)

Diggers rest

The property was beautiful. It was nice and clean upon arrival. The owner stocked the property with everything you would need for a getaway, from pantry items to laundry items. Would definitely stay again if we were to come to Broome :)

Convenient, clean and well priced! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Diggers Rest. The unit was extremely well equipped and Janette was so easy to deal with particularly as we had travelled from the other side of Australia. We made good use of the outdoor area with its BBQ and tropical decor. A home away from home!

Nice and Cozy Place in Broome

The room was very clean well equipped for cooking. Without a car or scooter it is a little distant from food and attractions but walkable. It was very quiet at night and quite comfortable.

July 2022 stay

Lovely cabin with all the needs for your stay. Very well equipped. Very quiet part of the park with lovely neighbours. Awesome value for money compared with all the resorts, which were prohibitive price wise to us, in the high season. Thanks Janette and Neil for a lovely stay.

Quiet location, very well equipped and comfortable. It was very suitable for what we were doing in Broome, we enjoyed our stay and would come back. A minor negative about the outside "en suite". Without a spare key for the self-locking door, it was a concern that we could inadvertently lock the keys inside.

A very comfortable unit within a caravan park. Most attractions a 5 minute drive. Everything that you need is in the cabin. Toaster, air fryer, coffee machine, washing machine. There is absolutely nothing that you will need

Diggers Rest is a Winner

We loved it here. Communication with Janette was great. From the minute we walked in we couldn’t have been happier. It smelt so nice and very fresh and clean with draws and cupboards stocked with everything. The bed was comfy and the quality of the bedding was nice. A large ice/water fridge. We also loved the quiet location and privacy of the site.

Property was good all though I read the terms washing all the linen before you leave is not the way to finish a holiday when you are vacating at 7:30 which means your up at 5:30 to leave it in the condition the owner expects

Great stay in cosy cabin and close to everything Broome has to offer. .

We stayed at Diggers Rest within the Broome vacation village for two weeks. We are regular visitors to Broome and this place did not disappoint . The cabin had everything we needed and more - the decor was great and the place very comfortable . There is an outside ensuite but we got used to that and it wasn’t a big deal. The pool was great too. The park itself was very quiet just on the outskirts of Broome and very close to Gantheaume point , Entrance Point , Fishing club and the Broome golf club. There are electric scooters you can hire just outside the gate and a bus stop too for anyone without a vehicle. I can highly recommend the stay and the host Janette had great communication.

Nice basic cabin.

Nice cabin. Basic but functional small outside space. Toilet and shower located external to cabin, but this was as described. Park location bit of a way out of town and not really near anything. Park was very quiet when we stayed. As per what seems the norm with this type of stay now, you are expected to do all the cleaning and any laundry so not sure what the service fee covers. However not bad value by Broome pricing.

Thank you for review, the service fee has nothing to do with me at all it’s from the company you booked with fees. We don’t add on a cleaning charge as it is leave it as you found it, BUT always welcome to call and we can organise a cleaner at a cost to you. Being that Broome is on a peninsula we are actually closer to all popular tourist attraction than Cable Beach, I always recommend that if you want to go to cable Beach daily to swim you would be best to stay there. Broom holiday

Nice unit made from 2 , one large one small shipping container. Has got full size kitchen appliances . It is some distance away from centre and Cable Beach so need a car to get around. Tip if departing early better to pay for cleaning as it takes a while to do all the required chores.

We enjoyed our stay and liked the proximity to Guanthame Point.

The expectations to do all the cleaning was rediculous! We had a tour at 2pm in Fitzroy Crossing and had to get up at 4:30 to get the washing on the line! The machine is small and it took 3 loads! Washing floors with no mop? We thought we were on holiday but the leaving rules didn’t make it seem that way! Would rather pay more and not be expected to do all the housework!

Great stay in Beoome

The place was nice and clean. Good value for the money. Neighborhood is quiet at night and well located. Kitchen is fully complete which is really nice. The only thing we had to adjust was to have the toilet outside of the property, but you adjust to it. Recommended for budget friendly holiday.

Perfect spot

Perfect place to stay Catching up with my parents while they have been camping for 2 months The eye through the place was 5 star accomodation!! We can’t thank you enough x great sport. Hopefully come back to see more of Broome soon!!
