Guilderton is situated at the mouth of the Moore River. It is the perfect weekend getaway or family holiday. Only 50 50-minute drive from Joondalup.
The house is a modern two-story holiday home with views of the ocean and an easy 500m walk to the dog-friendly beach.
You have full access to the whole house Max of 8 guests at any time during your stay (min 2-night stay). Charges apply for cleaning and Pets are welcome. A lower price is available if less than 4 people are staying for the entire booking.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms; a large open-plan living area, an alfresco BBQ area and a sunset viewing deck.
Downstairs has two single beds and a pull out trundle bed, toilet, shower and laundry. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. One has a double bed with ocean views. The other is a larger room with a queen bed, trundle single and TV overlooking the alfresco BBQ area. Covered Doonas, blankets and covered pillows are supplied. Sheets and towels can be supplied at an additional cost of $10 per person.
Pet-friendly - Fully fenced backyard and a short 500m walk to the dog beach opposite the house.
Well-equipped kitchen with all cooking and eating utensils, Nespresso pod coffee machine, and drip filter coffee machine. The alfresco area has a BBQ and outdoor setting for eight and a beer fridge. A Porta cot & highchair is available for use.
Ceiling and pedestal fans are available for summer. Electric blankets and portable electric heaters for winter.

Guilderton - Relax by the beach or explore the Moore River. The house is located right on the oceanfront and just a short walk to all the town has to offer:
* ~500 m walk to the Dog beach.
* ~1km beach walk to the river mouth
* Beach or river fishing
* Country Club - Enjoy a round of golf, footgolf, lawn bowls or a meal.
* Putt-Putt, Tennis and skate park facilities near the country club
* General store and near caravan park and river mouth ( cafe currently closed)
* General store, fuel and food at the Roadhouse
* River Cruises operate on weekends and public holidays
* Canoe Hire operates weekends and public holidays
* Visitors Centre open weekends, public holidays and school holidays 9 am-12 noon

Explore the Gingin Shire and beyond - The Shire of Gingin has a lot to offer all within a 30min drive of Guilderton
* 15min North to seabird - lunch or dinner at seabird tavern
* 25min North to Ledge Point which has a magic little golf course with grass greens
* 30min drive east to Gingin - Lunch in the Park Café. Local produce and history at the historic railway station or Lunch at the Gingin Hotel.
* 30min North to Lancelin - home of sandboarding and kite surfing. Lunch at the Lancelin tavern

* 1hr east to Stringybark Winery or Nesci winery in Chittering Valley

Great communication throughout the booking process. All instructions prior very clear on how to get into the house. Fabulous location and great house. Very well stocked with dishes, etcOur furry pals loved the back garden and front balcony was fab to watch the sunset. Only suggestion yesterday was hot and there is no air con in the main living area so it was unbearable to sit and have lunch. There’s a ceiling fan and a pedestal fan but would recommend an air con in the main area - would have just made it more pleasant for us but a great stay

Peaceful Stay - Will be back

We recently stayed at this beautiful beachfront home in Guilderton and couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. The location is absolutely stunning – right opposite the beach with breathtaking views. Traveling with our dogs can sometimes be a challenge, but this property was incredibly pet-friendly. There was plenty of room for them to run around safely, and the nearby beach was ideal for long walks and playtime.The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Guilderton on a family holiday in 1999 and bought the house to spend our holidays there. We thought we would retire there but not enough space after living up North for so long. We bought 2.5 acres out on the highway and setup the beach house for rental so others can enjoy our great little beach house as well as our family.

What makes this property unique

The views are what capture you but now we have done the renovations there are lots of great spots to sit and enjoy some peace and quite. We are pet friendly and provide single night stays mid week and off-peak
