Relax Moore - Walking distance to Beach.

This lovely 2 story 3 x 2 sleeps up to 10 people and is walking distance to the beach. There are 3 good sized double bedrooms and a bunk room downstairs for the kids. The house has all the creature comforts of home, Air Con, Wood fire , Highchair, Nespresso Coffee Machine - please bring your own pods, TV/DVD. Even the family dog is welcome (there are no fences & Outside Only). Pet bond applicable $250.

This property strictly sleeps 10. This property is more suited for 2 families, this property will only suit 6 adults so please keep this in mind when booking. No Tents, Caravans or Camper Trailers allowed at property. No School leavers or under 25 adult groups.

Check in time is 2 pm unless prior arrangements have been made.

Guests are to provide their own sheets & towels - Linen hire available on request.

Porta cot available for hire on request.

Start by walking along the Guilderton boardwalk and enjoy our spectacular beaches.
Take a towel and have a dip in the Moore River or the Indian Ocean.
Practice kayaking canoeing, splashing and playing in the water, windsurfing, boating, photography, bird watching, climbing, collecting sea shells,building sand castles, treasure hunts, beach volleyball, or simply comb the beach for free craft supplies.
Pack a hamper and spend the day or a balmy evening with good company at the gas fired free barbecues under the trees and enjoy the river mouth view. Mother nature is often in action and occasionally the mouth of the river sandbar opens to the sea.
Swing the clubs on one of the most picturesque 9 hole golf courses in WA. For family fun day out enjoy a game of mini golf.
Paddle, kayak or canoe up the Moore River
Test your sand board skills at the sand hills.
Enjoy majestic sunsets over the Indian ocean.

Great location. Nice house. Two negatives…outside areas back and front were very dirty and obviously not cleaned including spider webs on seating out the back and lots of sand along concrete outside front door and along the paved area. Also, only enough dishwashing detergent to do one lot of washing, for five people for three days. And given how much this stay cost, this is slack and poor.

House was well equiped with everything we needed. Clean and tidy.Not too far from the main swim area.Only thing we had dramas with was the tiny ants getting into the food. Lovely place to stay

Great location and lovely beach shack feel with nice big trees around the house. Good sized family areas and big bedrooms. The balcony was a bit wobbly with large gaps between rails which wasn't great for an active toddler. But yard space was great.

Close to moore river. The house is clean too.The negative comment is if the weather is very hot there's no aircon in every room only fan, no fan provided were the bunkbeds downstairs. And there's plenty of ants, don't leave any food on benchtops otherwise ants are out. Otherwise it's a good house to stay.

Ant Problem

Everything was perfect except for the ant problem. There are nests in the ground and nests in the walls. There is a sign about ant like holidays too. They are not on holidays they live there. The ants were throught the cupboards and drawers. Needs attention. Empty can of spray supplied.

Overall, this was great. Was super hot and the single air conditioning unit did a pretty good job, strong blast of icey air enough to cool most rooms, definitely the living area. Loads of DVDs, kitchen draws are loaded, all the extra utensils and accessories etc. Would stay again. Two issues were, some fans had clearly been put in (from storage) for the very hot forecast, but they were broken and filthy (fistfuls of dusty falling off). And we had a fire alarm start going off sporadically early in the morning, presume flat battery, texted host but no reply. Minor overall.

Great location - Close to the beach

As a beach house, it's walking distance to the beach for swimming and fishing. The bedrooms and kitchen are well equipped. One of the air-conditioning units (in the lounge) is very old and should be serviced or disconnected. On arrival the property was quite dusty and very stuffy. The TV was not working properly, so we ended up watching some DVD's most days/nights. The Radio had only one working channel (the Christian channel). The bbq on the balcony was in good order. There was an ant problem in the kitchen, next to the window. The extra fans in the bedrooms was very welcome in summer.

This year on our arrival the tiled floors were sticky, bedrooms 1 and 2 had a very unpleasant smell, and the lounge room furniture was quite dusty. As we paid $325 per night, we were not impressed. I presume the previous people also paid the cleaning fee of $120. But I'm not sure for what!!

Access to the Beach

The property was great. It could sleep 10 quite easily and all the amenities we needed were there-except of course wifi which was not available. The upstairs balcony was great to sit and have a couple of noggins and to cook a bbq. It was only about 200 metres to the path to the beach which we used quite a bit. Overall it was ideal for our purposes. The property is not new but very comfortable.

Great location. Very dirty. Misleading description.

The house is very close to the beach, on a quiet street. Based on the description, photos and price I expected a mid to upmarket property. Unfortunately the property is very run down, poorly maintained and very dirty, both inside and outside. The two bunk beds downstairs are not in a bedroom, but rather in the entrance way. No privacy (or security for little ones) at all where these beds are located. The property has no WiFi and mobile reception (even Telstra) is almost non existent. Non of our phones could get a signal, but a tablet managed one bar, so we hot spotted from that. Having committed to the weekend, we managed to put the condition (and price) of the property out of our minds, and managed to enjoy Moore River. As mentioned, the house is in an excellent location, and the town and all it offers make for a wonderful family holiday. We'll definitely be returning, just not to this property.

It is a lovely Beach house in a great location the way its set up is to accommodate large family's or a couple of family's (10people) as shows on the pictures on the net . Mobile reception can be bad in Guilderton at times Most people like to fact they can get away with there family's with no distractions eg internet

Beach peace

Great location very short walk to the beach and away from the crowds at the caravan park Property had everything we needed. Loved that some washing powder and other cleaning products were provided. A shame the upstairs bathroom is an ensuite on one of the bedrooms as it meant 6 of the 8 of us shared the downstairs bathroom. Also, be prepared for the ants! They can sniff out a crumb left on the bench within minutes.

Great size house and close to the beach but it’s old and ants were everywhere!!

We had a bad plumbing issue where water was flooding and we had to go a night with only one usable toilet- annoying with 6 people. However the issue was resolved promptly the next morning which I was happy about. The most disappointing part was the cleanliness of the outdoor furniture and the fact that ants where everywhere getting into everything!! The house is old but it’s a great size and no wifi but close to the beach.
