Absolutely fabulous place to stay with a big group. Plenty of space and very well appointed as far as crockery, pots and pans, glassware etc only one criticism you could really have a couple of non stick frying pans but overall a great place to stay and we all had a wonderful time.
Our family enjoyed our celebration weekend at Casa Abierti.

Great place to stay when with a group and suitable for both adults and kids. Lots of land to explore and great place for morning runs! 10 min away from Beechwork
Great place for a bigger group in a beautiful spot
The big house and garden works very well for an extended family. The The Stanley-Myrtleford road ids a delightful drive (and we are told a great ride for those on their bikes).

Thank you for your comments. We are happy that your family enjoyed your get together at Casa Abierta. We hope to see you again soon to enjoy the peaceful quiet setting with nature all around you.
Our stay at Casa Abierta was perfect. The house is very spacious and the firepit was a lovely treat. The communication from Jen was excellent, and she even went the extra mile to make sure the WiFi was working. 10/10 would stay here again, especially now the Stanley Pub is back up and running!

So glad it was a lovely time for you David!
Jen (who very sadly can't do anything about the weather!.. I sure wish I could)
This place is an absolute treasure nestled in the foothills.
This property we named our ‘hidden Tuscan Villa’ as the beautiful Silver birch garden, grapevines and green rolling hills made it feel like an international destination. Neat and clean with fully stocked kitchen. We were able to relax and unwind. The eco friendly thermo regulated mud brick home stayed beautifully warm and communication with hosts was simple. We loved the array of books to read and the plentiful tea and coffee supplied.
Would love to return again
Overall, this property is fantastic. It's homey, warm, and peaceful, nestled in an array of beautiful trees and green lawns. It has old-world charm. Everything you could need is here. It is a great property and I can recommend it.The bad was that it had too many private doors, and that is a security concern. Around four rooms are marked as private. I totally get it. However, this created angst for my wife and daughters. Whatever is in these rooms should be moved out to perhaps the garage or shed for storage. We can't stay again for that reason only.

Nice position. Winter stay. Stayz sent incorrect check in instructions which took some time to fix up. The house downstairs was really cold the first night as the logs for the fire weren’t seasoned. We bought some firewood the second day and the house warmed up downstairs Upstairs is heated by one aircon in the living space and all but one bedroom took 24 hours to get warm enough because the air had to travel down a corridor We had a large column of ants the first night on the kitchen counters. The house is in a nice spot and the owner and manager were helpful. I think though for the price it wasn’t great value; it is tired and cold. The kitchen was well equipped We were grateful the property was dog friendlyA summer stay would I think be alot nicer and the garden and wildlife were great.
Serene spot in the wonderful little village of Stanley, 10km from Beechworth. The house is as good as it looks, perfect for our large family group to gather, to cook together, to play boardgames and relax. The cottage garden surrounding the house is beautiful. The house is generously furnished and has everything you need for a few days away. Our border collie loved the grounds too. We will be back.
A great property that easily accommodated our group of 8. Peaceful, relaxed, remote but with easy access back to Beechworth. Exactly what we hoped for. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a real getaway from work & the suburban routine.
Fantastic weekend away in beautiful Stanley , very close to Beechworth , gorgeous autumn colours this time of year
This is an awesome house for a big group of people with amble room and a very well equipped kitchen, we LOVED all chatting around the huge bench
Very clean and a real homely feel
Thankyou for allowing us to stay and hope to visit again soon
We had a a lovely couple of nights in Stanley and the house accommodated us perfectly for a family get together. It was warm and cosy with just the log burner on and had plenty of space and a very good kitchen. The grounds are beautiful, surrounded by nature. So close to Beechworth, we popped in there for breakfast. Only disappointment was we couldn’t get into the Stanley pub for dinner, need to book in advance as it’s small and popular.
We couldn't have had a better house for a get together with the family. The kitchen and living area allowed us to cook, eat, play and enjoy each others company. The outside area was also perfect to sit out in the sunshine and enjoy the peaceful country setting.
A perfect house to gather with friends and family to enjoy wuality time together.
Two families used the house that was well equipped and easy to navigate. With a long windy driveway coming into the house you could easily be in the middle of Italy.
We had a fantastic stay in the house and catered for our needs (3 families) very well. We all left excited that we might book again.
One suggestion from our group is - One of the downstairs rooms has very little soundproofing between the ground floor and upper floor when people are moving around and using the upstairs bathroom so best for this room to be taken by a heavy sleepers.
