About this property
Naivasha Cottage with antique outdoor bath
This 100 year old stone and timber cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Hidden away in the Tasmanian bush, you'll never want to leave.
The generous living room has beautiful bush and lake views and a cozy wood fire.
The antique bath in the open-air bath house is the perfect place for stargazing.
Feed the friendly chooks and ducks and feast on their fresh laid eggs.
Follow our journey on our socials (IG @naivasha_cottage) for news and updates.
The generous living room has gorgeous lake and bush views and is heated by a wood fire and reverse cycle air conditioner.
Our 3 bedrooms comfortably sleep 6. Our comfortable beds have quality linens.
Bedrooms 1 & 2 have queen beds, bedroom 3 has long single beds (ideal for teens and adults)
And then, of course, there's the antique bath in the open-air bath house.
You're welcome to bring your own cot; a high chair is available on request.
We have a laundry with washing machine , iron and clothes airer.
The yard is fully fenced.
Because we're in the hills, mobile phone coverage is tricky. We have a Telstra booster, so there's mobile coverage for providers that use the Telstra network, like Aldi, Boost, Belong, and of course Telstra. If you are with another service provider, you'll have full coverage at the top of the driveway.
We have ample high-speed WiFi

About the host
Hosted by Linda
Our family lives just outside the picturesque village of Deloraine in Northern Tamania.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the minute we set foot here. We came down through the eucalyptus forest and spotted a platypus in the dam! We renovated the 100 year old cottage (that you now get to stay in ) and lived in it for 3 years while we built a new home on the property.
What makes this property unique
We love being out in the bush and feeling like we're away from it all. We have the friendliest chooks you're ever seen, and a platypus regularly visits. Where else do you get to watch a platypus from the comfort of the loungeroom! We also love our 120 year old claw foot bath in our open-air bath house.
All this, and we're just 5 minutes from "civilization"!
