MONTHLY RENTAL: Requires a minimum stay of 28 nights occurring within the same month. Stay a month and live like a local!

THE PROPERTY: Step inside the white picket fence and enjoy your private escape. Surrounded by lush greenery and palm trees, this home with modern amenities is tucked into a charming, historic neighborhood. From here you can walk to many attractions Key West is notable for including bars, restaurants, and shops. Snap a photo at the Southernmost Point marker or grab lunch on Duval Street. When you are done touring the island, come home and enjoy a cocktail on the covered porch.
As you enter the home, you will be struck by its hardwood floors and natural light. Upscale lighting and unique art embellish the living space. Both bedrooms are in the hall and are comfortably furnished. Head towards the updated kitchen and you will find the first of two full, updated baths. This tub/ shower combination with glass slider and large, single vanity is also home to a full-size washer and dryer. The beautiful kitchen is a chef’s delight. It is adorned with an island with bench seating, stainless steel appliances, slide-in gas range, and quartz countertops. White cabinets, a farmhouse sink, and all the conveniences of home are at your fingertips. A vaulted ceiling and recessed lighting enhance the open feeling of the room. The dining room with seating for four, is located just off the kitchen. Beyond the dining room is your family room and second full bath with pedestal sink and walk-in shower. The family room is comfortably furnished and has plenty of natural light. From here you can watch late night TV on the big screen without waking your kiddos or guests. A full glass panel door provides access to the pool area. Complete with a waterfall feature, the saline pool is oh so relaxing. Weather you are cooling off after a day of exploring the island or simply sunbathing, this area is private and comfortable. If you are looking for a convenient ‘locals’ area with great access to dining, look no further. Inn Cogneato is waiting for you!

BED CONFIGURATION: Two queen bedrooms are located at the front of the home. Each is adorned with night stands, bedside lamps and either closet or dresser storage.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: The pool is heated seasonally (November through April) for an additional fee which will be assessed at the time of booking. Relax in the poolside lounge chairs. A propane grill and dining table are provided for your outdoor enjoyment.

PARKING: No designated parking space but there is free street parking in the neighborhood.

LOCATION: Historic Old Town in Bahama Village, a vibrant and diverse neighborhood settled in the 1800s by families from the Bahamas. North of Truman Ave, this home is within walking distance to the Southernmost Point, and Duval Street. Several shops and restaurants are nearby including Bésame Mucho, Blue Heaven, Santiago’s and La Crêperie.

PETS: One (1) dog allowed, up to 25 lbs, for an additional fee and completion of Pet Information addendum. Must be 1 year of age or older. Must be spayed/neutered. All vaccinations must be up to date. Please be advised some breeds are not permitted. Sorry, cats are not allowed.

SMOKING: This is a non-smoking home and property.

Great house

This was the cutest, most comfortable, well stocked house. The location is great. You can ride your bike to everything on the island. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second year my husband & I have stayed at Inn Cogneato Cottage. It's perfect for two people. Although, still comfortable for four. We were able to enjoy the pool everyday, the house is extremely clean & comfortable, walking distance to everything & the kitchen is awesome. It is short on closet space. Our only real disappointment is that we did not know until the end of our stay that the 30 day right of refusal was discontinued. We would of loved to rent Inn Cogneato in 2019.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a most convenient location and so quiet! The next door neighbors are long lineage Key West natives and know most every person that walks by and live in the neighborhood. It's hard to believe just slightly a block and a half away is the bustle of Duval Street. We did NOT move the car as everything is nearby. Faustos is a very easy walk! The home is immaculate and freshly remodeled with upscale everything! Management company was beyond friendly and accommodating! Each member of staff is concerned for your happiness and no question is unanswered! Even the housekeeping staff were amazing! Can't go wrong! Very close to Blue Heaven and Firefly and Banana Cafe plus a very intoxicatingly sweet French croissant breakfast place just up on Duval that has amazing fresh breads daily! You REALLY can have a good life and experience in Key West from this location! By the way Speakeasy Rum Bar up on Duval is an excellent nightcap place with hundreds of different types of rum choices(and any other) to chose from and nearby Salty Angler has amazing smoked briskett! Enjoy!

Inn Cogneato is a beautiful property in a great location!

I just returned home after living at Inn Cogneato for a month. I loved the place! The property managers were very helpful and very responsive. The house was immaculate, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The pool area was a real pleasure, and a great place to cool off and relax. The kitchen has the best appliances and was fully equipped. Everything that I needed was right there. I felt very safe in the neighborhood, and the location is perfect. I chose to not have a car for the month and everything was an easy walk from this location. 3 minute walk to the community pool, 3 minute walk to Duval, 8 minutes to CVS or Walgreens, 12 minutes to Fausto's for groceries, 18 minutes to Mallory Square. 18 minutes to Captain's Corner for Scuba Diving. All in all, this is a five-star property, I loved my stay there, and I highly recommend it!

We were skeptical of the location - meaning the boarded up cottage next door and a couple of other homes on the street. But during our month stay we found the Key West area in this condition. Our rental was charming we sat on the front porch in the morning and had breakfast. A few mosquitos 🦟 so get spay. The back yard pool was great and we cooked on the bbq. The air conditioning was a plus. Easy walking to Duval St. We would rent this home again in a heartbeat. House keeping was great and the property manager was attentive and friendly. We were also able to stay a few hours longer due to a late flight. Thank you Owners for sharing your home!!

It was incredibly clean, and the absolutely top rated quality finishes, amazingly stocked kitchen (better than my home!), private pool and absolutely wonderful, prompt and professional staff at the management company made our stay feel luxurious. The location was perfect. It was quiet, (except for those silly wild Key West chickens!) out of the "very busy" end of Duval, (yet easily walkable there when wanted) and very close to our favourite patios and restaurants of Key West. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The house was newly updated, well maintained, very clean, and lived up to all the descriptions in the marketing materials. Loved the pool (great warm water temp.) and the outdoor space in general. Grilled many times on the nice Weber. Manager was available to take care of some minor problems with the cable. Great location - walking distance to all the places you want to be in KW. Spent a lot of time at the Fort Zachary beach. And the upper Duval restaurants and bars!
