We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was perfect for the three of us, a short walk to the beach and to the general store. It’s set on quite a large block, with a pool, which we loved and lots of native trees. Idyllic, especially on sunny days. Our host, Margaret was easy to contact and made us feel welcome.
Lovely two-night stay in Somers. The pool was a highlight, and the location near the Somers General Store and beach was perfect. The house was very clean, well equipped and well maintained. Great outdoor spaces for relaxing and meals, with a vine-covered pergola that provided welcome shade in the hot weather. Dog-friendly too!
Great communication and clear instructions from our host. Clean and well organised house. Amazing pool. Beautiful linen. Incredible sky, sunsets and star gazing from the top deck. The outside shower was also very popular!

We were a group of 5 mums and had such a fabulous 2 night stay at Margaret’s house. The house was well stocked with plenty of space for all of us and we enjoyed the garden especially the stunning pool. Such a great location as well as we walked down each morning to the General Store for a delicious breakfast. We hope to return soon for another relaxing stay.
We had a truly lovely, relaxing stay. This property is beautiful. The house has a wonderful vibe and was equipped with everything we needed. The main bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining area and main living space are upstairs. Downstairs there is another queen bedroom, a bedroom with two bunk beds, a water closet, and a comfortable couch and TV area. The laundry is located on the deck. The pool is incredible. It is quite deep in the middle, but has a seat/ledge running along the full length. The water felt silky and luxurious. The outdoor shower, with hot water, was an absolute delight. The BBQ area is perfect, and somehow the grass out the back is the softest we have ever felt. The house is also very close to a beautiful beach. The host was responsive and generous with communication throughout. The property is dog-friendly, though it is not fully enclosed as the front gate does not span the entire driveway. This was clearly communicated by the host prior to booking, so we were fully aware. Our stay was delightful, and we would happily return.

Absolutely loved our stay. The pool, the outside area is amazing.
Even on a rainy day, sitting inside you overlook the gum trees, it feels like it’s just you.
Nothing short of perfect
Will return

Our family group had a lovely stay here. The location is fabulous with the Sommers General Store and Beach so close (walking distance). The weather was on our side to enjoy the stunning pool and enjoyed the local resident kookaburras visiting us to say hello poolside.
The house is well equipped with added extras - Thank you so much for the attention to detail!
Overall a highly recommended place to stay and enjoy exploring the local region for a large family or friends.
Amazing pool and property is so close to the beach
The house is definitely on the smaller side for 4 adults and a child, however the pool and outdoor area is amazing. Love that we could bring our french bulldog along with us, however do note the property is not completely fenced, this would be been useful. Overall amazing spot with an amazing pool.
