Beachside secret
This house was fantastic for our long weekend with family and friends. The giant pool and deck and gorgeous yard of native flora makes for an oasis that happens to also be walking distance to beautiful beach. And even at its busiest, this stretch of beach is not thronging. There's a great deck up top too and the sunset streams into the top floor. Special mention for the beds that are so comfortable. We keep coming back to this house. It's wonderful in Summer and cosy but still great for a Winter break. The host, Margaret is very responsive and lovely.

Very bad experience
Our stay was disappointing due to several issues. The dishes and cutlery were dirty, including the white plates which required washing from scratch and stains over most of the cutlery. Additionally, we found bed sheet downstairs with yellow stains that seemed recent with a bad odour, and none of the outdoor chairs were clean, all chairs in the outdoor area were very dirty and dusty. Some of the towels provided were hand sized towels. Furthermore, the pool, which was supposed to be heated and for which I paid extra, was cold and not warm.

Beautiful home
Our group of 4 x 50+ friends loved our stay at this property, the pool and garden was delightful, and it was relaxing listening to the birds. We were surprised at the request of stripping the bed linen before we left, which would be fine if staying at a friend's home, rather than paying accommodation. This is the only reason why we gave the property 4 stars. Overall,
