Amazing!
This property was the perfect set up for us- we had 2 couples and a single. We all had lots of space, privacy and our own bathrooms. The outdoor entertainment area was great for card games and drinks. We ate the best prawns from just down the road, would highly recommend this house to anyone 😊

Hi Leonie, I am glad both your couples had a wonderful stay, don't forget to come back to this beautiful Island as it is a great place to relax and unwind. See you soon Tony.
Amazing getaway! Was fantastic to switch off from the hustle and bustle of life and experience beautiful Moreton Island! The house was fantastic with separate living areas for groups. We banked our boat on the beach a short walk from the house which was fantastic for trips to the mainland.

Great Family Getaway
Our two families stayed at the Oyster Barn for 4nights. The property is perfect for two families with all the kids staying in the barn and the parents having a flat each.
The outdoor kitchen and living area was great for our large group. We had plenty of hot water and power and the house has all the mod cons you need for a stay at Kooringal.

About the host

This wonderful home is now back for rent after having been permanently rented for the last two years. My wife and myself have lived in Kooringal for 25years and have enjoyed every day, from going to the beach or going fishing and catching whiting, flathead, tailor, sand crab, mud crab, or chewing on the best oysters in the country. We had both grown up in Brisbane and could not believe that Moreton Island was so close to a major city. It is a true paradise. We believe that your holiday at Kooringal sitting back with a drink in the afternoon watching the sun go down or going to watch the sun rise will completely relieve any stress that you might have brought with you from the mainland.
Why they chose this property
We had camped on the Island for ten years before we bought and then decided to buy a rental property to let other people enjoy the Island as we have.
