This beautiful modern 136 square meter country house is the perfect place for your visit. With breathtaking views of the majestic mountains and all amenities you are guaranteed a truly relaxing holiday. This totally quiet spot is surrounded by hiking and biking trails. An easy 15KM drive to Salzburg, our house is centrally located for many tourist activities. A short drive to many ski resorts as well as Austria's famous Lake and If Spa areas make it a perfect place for any season.


Further Details: This wood floored house sleeps 4-6 with two roomy bedrooms, each with double beds and plenty of storage. There is also a pull-out double sofa bed in the upstairs loft which sleeps 2. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a radiant stove top, wall oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker and all dishes, pots, pans and utensils. The large open style living room has 3 floor to ceiling windows revealing fantastic mountain views. A large dining area seats 6 comfortably. There is a full bath and stall shower. Our house is fully wireless, and has a brand new HDTV and cable for your entertainment pleasure. The house has a large yard, BBQ grill and large terrace with table and chairs. Owner lives on premises in separate apartment.

Lovely, comfortable apartment

Stayed here in February and the apartment was very warm, spacious and comfortable. Quiet location near town of Hallein which has a few restaurants. If you are skiing, bear in mind the resorts most likely to have snow are 1 - 1.5 hours away, but doable. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We’d really recommend staying here - the location is amazing; within easy reach of Salzburg, the mountains of Germany and stunning scenery in the locality. The house itself has a great view of the mountains and is well apportioned, particularly in the kitchen diner / lounge and mezzanine. Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay in Adnet! The home was even better than the pictures showed. I loved looking at the alps each morning from the massive windows in the living room. The home was very clean and everything was there for our needs. I would very much recommend staying here.

The pictures of the views from this home do not do it justice. Quiet, peaceful neighborhood surrounded by mountains and fields, yet close to so many day trip destinations. The home was immaculate and comfortable. The owners could not have been more accommodating and friendly, with great communication. We cannot wait to return!

Awesome views and fantastic modern house

We loved our stay here. We had everything we needed, and more! And the huge picture window of the mountains was mesmerising. We were glad of our car to get to the shops and restaurants as we hadn’t appreciated the distance into Hallein. But it’s a fantastic comfortable house near lakes, mountains, good beer and good Austrian food - what’s not to like!

House in the country

You’re very nice updated house in the country. The location was perfect for day trips around the Salzberg area. We definitely enjoyed the view from the living room while drinking our coffee in the morning. The communication with Joy was prompt and easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice property and location

The property is really high quality and the view is gorgeous. The location is quiet but very convenient to everything we wanted to do. Only two points to mention - the refrigerator was not working (great communication with the manager - they found a solution very quickly) and the upstairs window did not open (which made it a bit hot for the kids to sleep there). If they fixed those two minor things, I would give this a 10/10. As it was, it was still like a 9/10.

Beautiful Place

The window view here is incredible, the photos don't do it justice. House is large and open and in a very quiet area, but within happy driving distance of multiple day trips (Wolfgansee, Hallstatt, Eagles Nest etc etc) and so is a perfect location. The host (Joy) was also incredibly helpful and sorted out any issues for us straight away, very kindly. The only minor problem with the house for us was that the TV lacked the apps (netflix Disney etc) which would have been useful for the kids. But that's the smallest of problems when the view is so amazing!

A lovely, relaxing little area with hiking trails!

My 70-year-old mother and I stayed here for a week, and it was the perfect calming retreat after we'd been in big cities the previous week. The on-site host, Joy, is super nice! There are a couple of nearby farms with cows and horses, and the neighbors were very friendly. I wished I could stay much longer! The best part, other than the phenomenal view of the alps, is the hiking trails. You can just walk out the door and up into the woods for easy & medium hiking trails. After it rained one day, I saw the biggest snail I've ever seen in my life on a tree in the woods. It was amazing and I hope to visit again one day. This place is a gem!

House with a beautiful view

Great house with lots of room to relax and a view to remember forever. There is ample parking space for even a large vehicle. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was wood available for the fireplace. The beds were comfortable and private so the kids could sleep while we enjoyed the living space. Very reasonable drive into Salzburg for all the tourist things and there are plenty of local restaurants within a short drive as well. The road into the house is a bit different but pretty normal for the area after you drive around the country a bit. Google maps won’t drop you off at the house so try getting a Plus Code especially if arriving at night.

Great location, accommodations, and management

I have stayed many places all over Europe but this may have been one of my favorites. The view is fantastic from the large living room and with a roaring fire and a few drinks you can bet this will be your hang out for most evenings! We were so content chatting by the fireplace that the TV did not go on once during our entire stay. The house is well stocked with many of the basic necessities for your stay and Joy is a great onsite liaison for making sure you have every thing you need without being intrusive. The town of Hallien offers several grocery store options (recommend Interspar) and has a lovely old section for strolling through shops and grabbing a drink. The owner, Lorrie, is happy to answer any questions you have prior to arrival which helps make the stay even more pleasant. The proximity to Salzburg and the many other things there are to do in this area ultimately made this selection a no-brainer. I look forward to having the opportunity to stay here again sometime in the future!
