La-vista is a new luxury apartment complex in Kiama with a total of 10 apartments.
The apartment is on level one facing east with views to the ocean and Kendall's Beach 300 metres away.
There is a lift for easier access or stairs from the car park.
La-vista is located in a quiet street away from the chaos associated with the main street of Kiama but close enough to walk to shops,restaurants, trains and Kiama's well known attraction the Kiama Blow Hole.
The unit is connected to the NBN via a FTTP connection and subscribes to an unlimited data local and national call plan. The speed is 50MB/sec. The TV is connected to the internet for IView and Free View. However given the location and attractions time is best spent outdoors both day and night, particularly summer.
The location is on the eastern side of Manning Street one of the major thorough fares in Kiama hence no major roads need to be crossed to walk to Kendall's beach, the Main Surf beach or Easts Beach.
It's an excellent location to take advantage of local attractions and features including the coastal walk. Jamberoo, Carrington Falls, Shell Harbour, Wollongong and Gerringong are only a short drive by car.
The apartment has one of the largest balconies in the complex, with 55sqm of space split between open and covered. The North East position means that the sun is optimally positioned in summer and winter.
The apartment is deceptively large with 150sqm of segmented and isolated space in addition to the balcony.
The main bedroom fitted with an en-suite bathroom faces east and has sliding door access to the balcony. The bedroom has a queen bed.
The two other bedrooms have been fitted with king single double bunks.
There are 2.5 bathrooms. Main bathroom is equipped with large shower, bath vanity and WC. The en-suite is virtually the same without a bathtub. There is a separate WC.
The apartment has a separate internal laundry with clothes dryer, washing machine and Robin pull down ironing station.
The living areas have timber floors the bedrooms are carpeted.
The windows have plantation shutters while the sliding door windows have block out and shear curtains.

I cannot fault anything with the property. It is large and has everything you need. Checkin was a breeze and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there for the weekend with everything a walk or a short drive away
Perfect accomodation for our stay. My friends and I drove up from Melbourne and were warmly welcomed by Anthony and his son, who had also made the trip to Kiama to greet us. Very spacious, clean and well-equipped place for the 6 of us. Great location with a short, easy walk to the beach, and quick drive to the shops. Anthony is a friendly and responsive host. We would definitely stay here again, thank you Anthony!

What a fantastic unit & host! Thank you Anthony for going above and beyond with providing A Class accommodation for our family holiday. We loved staying there for a week and could not have been happier with our accommodation and its location to everything. The apartment was immaculately clean, well stocked and beautifully presented. We loved coming home to it at the end of the day.

Anthony was very welcoming and showed us around the immaculate apartment. Very comfortable and a great location. The only tiny issue would be the shower head in the main bathroom doesn't stay in place, but it didn't matter as there was another shower in the ensuite. Overall a five star stay.
The property was everything that had been advertised and was perfect for our stay. It was very clean and such a short walk to a lovely beach. Will definitely be back.
This apartment was very well equipped and absolutely immaculate. The owner was lovely and good to deal with. Only a short walk to Kendall’s beach but also within walking distance to Kiama beach. Plenty of parking in town if you want to drive in. Thank you for renting us your property we had a lovely holiday
The property was clean and well looked after, beds very comfortable and the location is excellent.
The property is a quick walk to the beach or ten minutes to the blow hole area.
The only downside for us was the property itself has a fault when it rains the apartment bedrooms smell damp.

We were greeted promptly upon check in by the owner Anthony, who showed us around the unit which was spotlessly clean & spacious. It was very well stocked, other than hand wash but that’s a small negative. The unit was a 15 minute walk into Kiama town centre & a 5 minute drive to the blowhole. Many other beautiful beaches were only a short drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Vista. Thank you Anthony!

This apartment was very spacious with plenty of room for 4 adults. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need including plenty of glasses, crockery, cutlery & serving bowls etc. Big Webber bbq and large balcony with nice water views. Our only complaint was that the bunk bed mattresses were fairly hard, maybe not great for adult kids but that is also a matter of what you are used to. Overall a great apartment.
We loved staying here for a week and could not have been happier with our choice of accommodation. The apartment is immaculately clean and well presented, and furnished very comfortably throughout.
The balcony terrace is like an additional room and is adorned with beautiful foliage (unlike most balconies which feel bare, this was like an elevated garden).
We appreciated the pantry staples (olive oil, salt & pepper etc) and fully equipped kitchen, which made cooking a meal easy.
The apartment is a short walk from the beach (take the short cut at the end of Orana Ave, through the caravan park) and it’s only a few minutes by car to the main streets of Kiama.
Anthony the owner was a pleasure to deal with, and provided us with a “house manual” ahead of time which made planning our trip and packing much simpler.

was a lot of set up that you had to do Ie dishwasher water needed to be turned in and it was hidden behind the bin. I can understand do this to minimise risk of water leaking however this could be role of the care taker. Overall a great holiday

Why they chose this property
Kiama was recommended to me by a long time friend whom retired in the area. Quoted as a "cultured beach town". I viewed many properties in Kiama before selecting Lavista. Key requirements were to be close to beach, town, restaurants, transport and shops, but not too close. An elevated north easterly aspect with ocean views is extremely important in Kiama as with my apartment. Properties with a southerly aspect are extremely cold. The apartment is in East of Manning street which is a major road. This is far safer for children. The design of Lavista is unique, I haven't seen a place quite like it, ts certainly differentiated from the box and oblong shape apartments. Its spacious with large laundry, bathrooms and in particular the main bedroom with significant inbuilt wardrobe space in all bedrooms. I wanted a new apartment.
What makes this property unique
This is a prestige apartment that is not well trodden like many holiday apartments. It's well maintained with quality inclusions inclusive of leather lounge and leather dining chairs.
You can sleep at night with the sliding windows open and listen to the waves landing on the local beaches. The main bedroom opens onto the balcony.
We have 100mbs high speed unlimited internet connected. There is plenty of desk space and power points to set up a home office.
For those hot summer days the apartments is positioned just right to catch the north easterly ocean breezes.
We have timber floors which is important in winter as is the dual cycle air conditioner.
The kitchen is well equipped.
We have an outdoor drying area at the rear of the property which means you are not staring at your washing while its drying.
The apartment is clean! We use a local part time cleaner that cost more, but does an excellent job.
