About this property

King Cottage Wilberforce - Pet Friendly ( Outside Only)

Why stay in a Motel when you can have a full house. King Cottage is an affordable accomodiation cottage, that is clean, cozy and comfortable. Polished Timber Floors throughout the home.

We have 3 bedroom - 2 x queen beds, 3rd bedroom with a Double & Single bed.

The house is fully renovated with new Kitchen & Bathroom. & outside BBQ area.
We have TV / DVD & Foxtel for the relaxing night by the fire.
Brand new Leather lounge, air conditioning.

We provide fire wood for short stays (2-3 nights), for any extensive stays, guest will need to bring or purchase firewood.

We offer a fully Fenced yard for the Children to Play.
We are also Pet Friendly (Strictly Outside only). Under no circumstances are any pets allowed inside, even inside pens.

Please note under no circumstances are Parties/BBQ's to be held with outside guests. Unfortunately due to recent events only guests staying at the house are permitted to be at the house, outside guests are not allowed. There can only be a maximum of 6 guests at the house at any given time.
Please be mindful we are in a quiet neighbourhood so we ask you respect our neighbours and arrive and leave quietly.

The unused rooms will be locked again due to recent issues with some guests.
We have a strict no smoking policy.

We are located in the township of Wilberforce - A great central place to stay and discover the Hawkesbury - within close proximity to us is - Windsor, Richmond, Bilpin, Kurrajong, St Albans, Wisemans Ferry, Ebenezer - all towns have a great history.

We are also located close to the Hawkesbury & Colo Rivers - for the Skier's, bring your boat we have off street parking. Boat ramps close by.

Characterful Cottage

A wonderful character filled cottage which suited our needs down to a tee. Great access, quiet with all amenities. Kim, our host, was very welcoming and helpful and went above and beyond to assist us when we had a minor problem. Lovely people. Thank you for having us and our dogs to stay.

My visit

From the time I enquired about the property the communication that I had with Kim was excellent. My son and I required a property to also accommodate my dog (outside) as I couldn’t get her into a boarding kennel. The house was very nicely presented, neat, clean and comfortable. Pricing was very good, not inflated as it was Easter weekend.

Perfect for Families

We found the owner was very easy and lovely to deal with. Our special circumstances were handled professionally and we wouldn't hesitate to stay in the cottage again. It was very comfortable and had a relaxing feel to it. We loved the personal touches and comfy beds. The only thing that took a little getting used to was the truck noise from the main road. Garden was fully fenced and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay, Thankyou

King Cottage is comfortable and well set up for those visiting Windsor and the surrounding area.

Kim was available when we arrived and living next door was very responsive as needed. The secured yard is great for young children and pets. The cottage is very comfortable with AirCon throughout, being an older house the small shower recess was challenging. We enjoyed relaxing evening walks along the old Pitt Town Ferry Road and some great take away meals from nearby Windsor.

We really enjoyed our stay at king cottage. We have just moved interstate and needed somewhere to stay whilst we waited to move into our property. Property had everything we needed during our stay. Kitchen is well equipped, bed was very comfortable and it had a lovely warm fire place in the loungeroom. We had two dogs with us and they had plenty of space to run around outside. We purchased the property approx. 15 years ago, it was rented for a few years then we created King Cottage Wilberforce. I'm told this was a original Market garden the property spanned all the way up to the current Butcher King road.
I'm so proud to live in such a beautiful area filled with history, our amazing Hawkesbury river and wonderful towns surrounding us, and all being approx. 1 hours from Sydney CBD.

Why they chose this property

The outlook is just beautiful, you can go for a walk down our street or jump in the car and go discovering. Everything is within a close distance.

What makes this property unique

We are centrally located in the Hawkesbury, a great place to go out for the day discovering and come back to a cosy comfortable home. We have amazing Butcher, Fruit Market, bakery near by if you want to stay in or even better some amazing Cafe's, pubs and restaurants.
