Stunning Seaside Retreat

OUR HOME

This architecturally designed two storey home in Seacliff with wonderful sea views is like living in a 5 star beachside resort. It incorporates state of the art European fixtures, polished floorboards and landscaped gardens providing easy entertaining.
Our home is close to restaurants, the beach and family-friendly activities.

THE SPACE

The home has 3 bedrooms all located on ground level. The master bedroom, with an en-suite, has access to a private courtyard with a landscaped garden. The other 2 bedrooms have access to a separate bathroom with a bath, shower and toilet.
There is an expansive balcony with outdoor furniture opening into the main lounge, dining and kitchen that lends itself for easy entertaining.
A retreat downstairs provides another area for relaxation. This house also has full access to cable TV through Foxtel.
We also have a barbeque for guests use.
Only a 5 minute walk to the beach and close to amenities such as cafes, restaurants and the Jetty Road, Brighton, shopping precinct.

Guests will be welcomed on arrival and also we are available for any assistance throughout your stay.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

The beautiful beach and the relaxed lifestyle close to every amenity you need.
We also boast a beautiful sunset and dolphins may be seen each morning.

GETTING AROUND

We are 20 minutes from the airport and a 10 minute walk to the railway station.
Also we are a 30 minute drive to the fabulous wine area at McLaren Vale.

Amazing house, amazing location

This property was the perfect house for our family getaway. It has everything you need including beach accessories, is walking distance to the beach, hotel, cafes plus has undercover parking. I only wish I found this sooner.

Lovely quiet property in Seacliff, Hellen is a lovely Host. Bay views from upper-level dining / living area. Quite a few stairs down to the lower level where the bedrooms are located. Very comfortable beds and tidy bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay.

Sunny seaside spot

Great place for my husband and I to spend some time with my son and his girlfriend who live in Adelaide. 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, quality fittings and nice and clean. Short walk to beach, cafe and pub. Groceries and alcohol 5min in the car. Breakfast supplied which was a lovely touch.

Great location To shopping at Westfield Marion and the train service to the City. Found the Heating and hot water system erratic in the down stairs en suite, a hot shower frequently became a cold shower.

House was spotless. Comfy beds. Bright open plan area. Location so close to beach and train station. Lots of space. We loved it. Would happily stay again. We noted that stairs down to bedrooms, which may not suit those with limited mobility (or very young kids). Otherwise, highly recommend.

Air Conditioning, Range hood & extraction fans in bathrooms all did not work. The upper level was uncomfortable to be in due to no aircon. Additionally the door falling off in the downstairs ensuite made it felt like a run down “rental” Also it says in the listing it is beach front.. if you squint you could see the dolphins playing off in the distance.House rules included having to strip your own beds..Overpowering smell throughout the home of chemicals which was not pleasant but at least the home was clean.

Thank you for your response. I have to say that the airconditioning does work - it is a matter of pressing the correct button and there are written instructions if required. The exhaust fans in all the bathrooms do work - a light comes on and the fan does not make a sound because it exhausts the noise outside - this is how it has been designed. I have had no reports of a problem with the range hood from any recent guests but I will have the Housekeeper check the range hood. All our guests particularly love the views from our home as you can read with all our reviews. I am sorry that you found fault in our home but I find your comments are inaccurate in many areas.

Excellent 3 bedroom sea view property , close to beach and public transport

A lovely 3 bedroom property, all appliances we needed including bbq, washing and drying facilities even a cart to take all our bits down to the beach . Large balcony with dining area for 8, with beautiful sunsets. A large secure garage with parking for 2 cars. A short walk to the station for the train into the city and the local buses . 15 min walk along the sea front to Brighton . Hosts have been very quick to respond to any questions /requests and even provided a Christmas tree and decorations for our 2 grandchildren . We have had a wonderful two weeks staying here.

Will not dissapoint!

It helped that we had the most amazing autumn weather whilst staying, but the sunsets were to die for every evening. And the ability to be able to walk meters away to a wonderful beach, added to the experience. The house was immaculately clean. The kitchen really well stocked with absolutely everything you would ever need. Furniture is plentiful, dining areas generous, the two separate living rooms (upstairs and downstairs) perfect for families...I could go on. All bedrooms are downstairs, so if you have guests with mobility issues, or wandering toddlers, then this may not be the best option for you. But the beds were super comfy and we all slept beautifully. Huge thanks to our host Helen, who was extremely generous with her time in making us very welcome in here home.

More difficult than anticipated

The house inside is lovely in some ways, however, the description of the house is misleading - you imagine the bedrooms, bathrooms & a living space is on the entry level. On the contrary, all bedrooms/bathrooms and the retreat are down very steep stairs - so difficult with luggage and even more so for two of us who are aged pensioners. We found it a huge struggle. Living area/dining/kitchen more or less on entry level. Also, sliding door to patio extremely difficult to open. If no smart TV then a DVD player would be great as each previous property has had and really needs some better basic utensils & pots & pans.

Our home at Seacliff is loved by our many guests who continue to come back and stay, which you can see by our reviews. Unfortunately the review submitted by this guest is inaccurate in many areas, particularly in relation to the television sets which are smart televisions, the kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances and cookware, etc., the layout of the home is designed so the living area and kitchen have the great views over the ocean on the upper level of the home and the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the lower level of the home. If an elderly person wishes to stay in a beach home it is probably a good idea to check the layout of the home before booking, particularly if the home has two levels. It is disappointing to read a review with incorrect information.

A lovely house and so close to the beach
