Enchanted Hills is an idyllic setting for couples, families, and individuals with a preference for the "road less traveled". Off the beaten track, our villa offers peace and privacy that is hard to find in expedient locations, while ensuring safety and convenience to the nearby restaurants, spas, shops and other amenities.

Nestled in the pristine hilltops of the secluded Santithani estate, Enchanted Hills is surrounded by natural beauty with views of the rolling hills, forests and distant islands. The sounds of the jungle and two nearby waterfalls echo through the hills during the raining season. The air feels fresh in the hills, particularly with the morning breeze flowing through the open house.

Inspired by the Mediterranean motif, the home was designed to accommodate comfort and outdoor living, optimizing sunlight and sunset views. The fusion of lush landscape and vibrant decor balances the tranquility and liveliness -- creating a space for contemplation as well as sociability. Open and inviting layout of the living, dining and entertaining spaces with high / vaulted ceilings --featured throughout the home -- add to the villa's spaciousness and functionality of everything being within sight and reach. Furnished with the main purpose of comfort and ease, the interior is subtle yet elegant.

The residence consists of the main house with the open living area on the first level and two private bedrooms with ensuite baths on the second. A guest wing connected to the main house by a terrace and outdoor dining beneath has two bedrooms and ensuite baths -- allowing for full privacy for guests.

A large garden surrounding the house practically conceals it from view and other homes in this quiet and charming neighborhood. On a busy day, one may spot perhaps ten cars passing by on the below access road winding through the hills, mostly neighbors or maintenance staff making their rounds. Yet the house feels sheltered even from this infrequent passage. The garden is made of indigenous trees and plants that grew here long before the house was built. Bougainvilleas, cactai, morning glory and few other varieties were added for contrast and a touch of flare. Several fruit trees including mango, coconut, papaya and cashew nut still produce seasonal fruits that can be had right off the tree in the right season.

The villa management is professional, responsive and tailored to our unique community. The estate is efficiently managed and guarded by a Thai British property management firm, which also offers various other services deliverable to our villa, such as car rentals, child care, chefs, massages, and pre-arrival grocery shopping among others. The rates are very reasonable and we'll be happy to get you in contact with the management.

As this is our holiday home, we welcome travelers who will take good care of our home. We are open to offers and particular circumstances, and appreciate ecologically minded guests with low AC use. If in doubt, send us an email.

The pool was a real highlight – super clean, well-kept, and perfect for relaxing hours.The view was simply breathtaking and made every day special. Private Escape with a Mountain View

Our stay was exceptional. The owner, Eva, was our first point of contact and then we got in contact with Au, the amazing house manager. Au was able to take care of basically any request we had or help us with anything. Taxi to/from the airport, masseuses coming to the house, car/motorbike rental. You name it. The place has a gorgeous view and gives you the privacy like it is your own home.We liked to order food to the house, get our own Grab (similar to Uber) rides, etc. and describing how to get to the villa can be a bit difficult to those unaware. It is both a positive and a negative to staying in the mountains!

Enchanted Hilla

We were 9 people staying at enchanted Hills. Check in was easy, the property manager and owner were very attentive when we had questions or concerns. We rented two vehicles. The cars we had struggled to climb the steep hill. I would highly recommend four-wheel-drive. The basement bedroom has a different feel than the bedrooms in the upper level of the home. Likely not important to kids, but might feel more important to adults staying. The main level of the home is very nice. We loved all of the windows and doors that could open allowing fresh air in. Overall a well maintained property.

A great relaxing vacation

The house and pool are accurate as pictures. The property is well maintained. The size of the house is big as well as comfortable enough for a family vacation. A gem in this property is the location. It offers a great deal of seclusion and privacy from other properties. The weather is hot and the sun shined brightly due to Koi Samui's proximity to the equator. Au, the caretaker, was always available when we had questions. She gave us great info on places where the locals ate. The food was delicious and dirt cheap. The security team kept a good watch on the properties in the area. For those who enjoy walking, this property is ideal for a morning walk. There are lots of hills to climb and there is little to no traffic on the villa roads. If you rent a vehicle for this trip, it does NOT have to be a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are plenty of towels for the pool. I enjoyed the peacefulness and the sounds of the animals throughout the day. When booking this property, Eva was very accommodating by answering several detailed questions I had. I would strongly recommend this property to friends and relatives.

A relaxing retreat with all the comforts of home

My husband and I spent eight days at this stunning location. The house is magnificent, with gorgeous architecture, situated high in the hills above the Gulf of Thailand. The owners have made this villa enjoyable for all guests, with a beautiful, well-appointed kitchen for those who like to cook, and a warm, comfortable living area. Open the French doors and enjoy the fresh gulf air. Dine outside at the table on the covered patio. The infinity pool is a gem, and a swim is the perfect way to end a day of sight-seeing. The view from the deck is stunning. Sunsets are not to be missed. For early birds, daybreak is equally breathtaking, with low clouds shrouding the hills and moving silently across the landscape as the sun rises. This area of Koh Samui is free of tourists, and the small restaurants on the beach are quiet. The hillside is forested and the villa offers elegant solitude, far from the busy beachside villages. Visitors will want a rented car (which is made easy by the management) to come and go as they please. Rentals are not expensive, certainly less than using taxis at this location. Throughout our visit, we drove on all major roads and on a few roads that were off the beaten path and found driving to be easy. The owners suggest a variety of restaurants in their helpful guide (found in the villa and offered electronically). The restaurants we visited were excellent. We also had a fabulous time during our trip to Angthong National Marine Park, another excellent suggestion by the owners. We highly recommend this spectacular villa to all visitors. The comfort, charm, and tranquility of this home will appeal to everyone, from families to couples, from young to young-at-heart.

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyablement dépaysant et relaxant dans cette villa au charme authentique, située dans un domaine résidentiel privé et préservé, noyé dans les collines, sans vis à vis mais avec tout le confort et les services possibles (cuisinier, ménage, massages...). Great location, great villa, great time!

I had four wonderful weeks in the villa, and give my highest recommendation to the owner Eva. The location of this villa is fantastic, with amazing views of both the jungle and the see, still very very private. The villa is located high up in the secluded residential area, at the end of the road. You will be away from all road traffic, mass-tourism and other noises, and only be surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. Downhill, on the main road, is the beach, many restaurants, and a lot of places where you can by groceries. The pool is quite long, and you can easily do some laps in it. In the evening you can Illuminate the pool, and take a bath under the stars surrounded by the rainforest sounds. During the stay I barely see any mosquito in- and outside the house. The service manager - Au - arranged a car, a saloon car, that was delivered to the villa. Even if the road is steep, there was no problem to drive up to the villa. The pool, garden and the inside of the villa are also very veil maintained by Au’s team. The villa is exactly as described, with a huge combined living area and veil equipped kitchen on the ground level. I had no problem with the Internet connection, even when using it for video conferencing. For mobile communication AIS are providing the best coverage in the area, even with good 4G speed. The communication with the owner, and local management before the stay was prompt and easy. I highly recommend this villa.

Enchanted Hills - der Name ist Programm

Etwas abseits gelegen, inmitten einer mit Kokospalmen bewachsenen Hügellandschaft steht das sehr ungestörte Haus Enchanted Hills. Der perfekte Ort um vollkommen auszuspannen. Man spürt sofort dass das Haus kein Renditeobjekt ist, sondern in erster Linie der Besitzerfamilie als Urlaubsdomizil dient. Bis ins kleinste Detail ist das Haus mit Hingabe sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt einfach an nichts, um sich verzaubern zu lassen. Romantiker und Naturliebhaber werden begeistert sein. Die Beschreibung ist auf jeden Fall zutreffend. Ernstzunehmen ist der Hinweis, dass die Zufahrt zum Haus über sehr steile Hänge führt. Ein eigenes Fahrzeug ist aufgrund der Lage notwendig. Ich hatte einen Scooter und kam selbst mit zwei Personen gut klar, bin aber auch wirklich sehr geübt. Ich vermisse diesen wunderbaren Ort und habe große Sehnsucht mich wieder verzaubern zu lassen. Ich komme wieder... Und danke Eva, du bist eine tolle Gastgeberin!

Paradise on a Island in Thailand

Great house, great location. One of the first places I have ever visited where I really wanted to stay longer. The house is breathtaking, well maintained, and larger than expected. From being picked up at the airport, renting a vehicle, and meeting with the caretaker, everything was extremely easy and well organized by the host. Having a pool outside your front door is way better than being directly on the beach. The island is easy to get around and has all the amenities one would need. Would and already have recommended staying here to friends. Negotiating another visit in 2018 with a small group of friends. Thank you Eva for the wonderful and memorable stay!!!

Paradise Waits...

Fantastic property on a fantastic island. Beautiful Tuscany style home in the jungle above the beach. It is in the hills and the drive is steep, a four wheel drive is advised. That said, it is a lovely home. Well maintained and nicely furnished. The welcome basket and sundries were very much appreciated. Au, the house manager, is there when you need her for assistance. Otherwise, you have all the privacy in the world with fantastic sunset views. Bang Po beach is a postcard. Beautiful white sand beaches and virtually deserted. The beach has many dining options in open air restaurants that are right on the beach, serve great Thai food, and are very reasonably priced. Thank you for the hospitality and for sharing your lovely home.

Perfect Family Time

Our week in Enchanted Hills villa was a perfect counter-balance to the hectic touristy days in Bangkok. The pick-up at the ferry, welcome basket, delivery of a rental car and detailed directions provided by the house management company made us feel immediately welcome. Amenities were even better than described...individual suites for everyone in our party, pool, books, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, comfortable seating, countless fluffy towels, a great table to eat al fresco, incredibly comfortable lounge chairs poolside, wireless internet used by all.... Au (pronounced "Oo") was incredible, arranging for a Thai cooking class in the kitchen, coordinating Thai massage for all at the house, and providing immediate help with directions to grocery stores, restaurant suggestions (we went back to the Sunshine Gourmet three times!) and translations. She always arrived with a smile and the ability to take care of our requests. We could not have found a better place to relax with our three adult children.

Serenity and Peaceful Retreat

The physical of the villa is beautiful and well decorated. Fresh air from the green and breezy. It completes with modern ammenities and appliances. My family and I stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. Eva, the owner is a very helpful from the very beginning the booking made and till we go home, she will assist you best that she can. If you stay here, ensure that a car is must (best 4WD). As the winding and steep hill may scare some people getting up to the house. Simply a paradise!

Eva's villa is quite simply a paradise. The overwhelming feeling is that you are staying in a family home rather than a generic villa. This is not to say it does not have all the features of a 5 star experience, ( more fluffy white towels than any self respecting 5 star hotel) it is just that it feels loved and cared for. Set high in the hills above Bang Po beach, the initial climb in a sturdy vehicle is a little daunting, but this soon becomes second nature, even fun. The villa is superbly managed by a local company, anything a family requires is simply a matter of asking, massages in villa, likewise superb cooked banquets and advice on local restaurants. The villa itself has a Tuscan, Lake Como feel to it (my adult children felt it had a 'Brothers and Sisters' TV influence!) and the view down the valley is breathtaking. We enjoyed the sense of coming 'home' after our outings, the island is quieter this end and some of the beachside restaurants we enjoyed had that totally authentic feel to them with ridiculously low prices, 'Son' restaurant in particular, with their white snapper in lemon and chilli a favourite. Our family party of 5 adults all had our own space and yet came together seamlessly for DVD marathons with pirated copies or lovely meals prepared in the fantastic kitchen. Eva could not be more helpful, answering every query promptly and offering great advice with car hire, flights etc. The pool is gorgeous, the outdoor covered dining area, the colonial feel decor ...must stop ... the whole package is here. All in all this was the perfect family holiday. One of the best. You will not be disappointed.

A Beautiful home for a Luxury Holiday

We had a fantastic ten day stay here. The little kids were safe and happy and the adults had lots of spots to relax. The house is gorgeous, with every detail considered. The house itself has a beautiful outlook and it feels like you are away from everything with a view of sweeping hills of jungle and the shimmering ocean in the distance. There's aircon and ceiling fans throughout and beautiful ensuite bathrooms for everyone. The sheets, blinds, taps and fittings are all gorgeous - as is the excellent dishwasher, Smeg oven and industrial-looking washing machine and dryer! Our 3 year-olds learnt to dive and swim underwater in the swimming pool - its long enough for an adult to stretch out and swim, but narrow enough for kids to feel safe. It is also a stunning infinity pool. We ordered massages for the adults at the house every afternoon, cooked beautiful meals and generally had a wonderful family time. We left the house once or twice to check out the beaches and shop at the huge hypermart down the road, but were generally really happy to be together at this beautiful home. I thoroughly recommend this holiday rental - it exceeded our expectations. It matches the photos and more! The fact that it is a holiday home for the owners made it extremely functional and well-maintained. It has everything you need in the kitchen and was comfortable, luxurious and peaceful.

Absolutely fabulous

We were lucky to find Enchanted Hills villa for three days to stay after a week in another house at the beach. And just for three days/ two nights we got full service, including transfer, fruit and drinks and extremely friendly wellcome from the manager Au, who gave us all the necessary explanations and assisted us in renting a car without which you cannot do there in the mountains. The beautiful Mai -another assistant - was very nice and helpful too. Compliments and lots of thanks to the owner for perfect organization! The villa itself is a dream of a house - spacious, nicely furnished, fully equipped. Romantic location in the mountains with a millon-dollar view, 10 minutes by car to the beach and restaurants, 20 minutes by car to a very nice golfclub. We were very happy with everything, thanks a lot

Our British neighbor manages our property, along with other villas in the estate. Her Thai staff is responsive to any of our renters needs from booking massages, cooks, and cars to key exchanges, cleaning, repairs, and anything in between. Our property is fully furnished with amenities of a normal home. We would like our guests to feel fully 'at home' while enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the enchanted hills surrounding the home.
