Kingfisher: Mt Glorious Getaways

Self-contained timber cottage nestled in the rainforest 680 metres above sea level.
Accessed by a winding mountain track, Kingfisher, the smaller of our cottages is surrounded by mountainous National Park and protected forests.
BBQ on the balcony while enjoying a breath taking look-out over the forest.
All modern comforts including fireplace.
Absolute peace & seclusion - 5 degrees cooler than Brisbane in summer
Perfect for romance & relaxing, with lots of birds & bush-walks.

Children are welcome, lots of space outdoors for them to play.

Equipped with cooking facilities, linen etc. - bring your own food everything else is provided.

We have a two-night minimum for all bookings
Sleeps 2 x Adults, with 1 x Queen bedroom, 2 x Box beds in Living Room
Ideal for Honeymooners or Couples with up to 2 Infants.

Only a 45-minute drive from the Brisbane CBD. Easily accessible to the Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast.

The forest is amazing. The wallabies plentiful. Bird life spectacular. Rained all weekend but did not dampen the experience.

Great short getaway

Wife’s birthday hideaway long weekend. Just what she loves. Quiet, bushwalks, bubbly on the deck and rainforest. Extra night stay arranged after check in no problem. Everything as described on the can. We live in a similar environment at West Woombye and still found this place a pleasant change and even quieter than home. Happy to recommend.
