This was a great space to unwind while working in Adelaide for the week. Close to the Adelaide Markets which is perfect if wanting to make your own food. Also has restaurants in the area, though not always open at night. It is at the edge of the centre but still very walkable to attractions and the CBD
Loved this place. We were visiting Adelaide for the U19's National Cricket Tournament and the location was perfect. Easy walking distance to the ovals and to town, but we bought our bikes so travelling around and riding into town or out to Henley Beach was easy. The house was a perfect size, clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay again.
We had a great stay. The house was clean and the kitchen and bathroom were all as we needed them to be. It was also conveniently located for the Gouger St restaurants and within walking distance of all the places we were going to (we were in Adelaide for the Festival and it only took us 25 minutes to walk to festival events and any of the restaurants we ate at in the centre of the city). Corinna responded promptly to our requests. Would stay again.
In town for spouses hospital stay. Corrina's lovely cottage was ideal. Close to everything , plenty of options for eating out in the area all in walking distance. Very clean, everything was as described. Easy contact with owner even though she was on the other side of the globe. First preference for a return visit.
My husband and I stayed in this lovely cottage for seven nights in January. The location is absolutely perfect. Adelaide is an easy walking city. Central market is just a few blocks away with a fresh market and tons of great restaurants. The cottage is perfectly laid out and everything is thought of and provided. My husband had to work in the early morning so he would use the back room as an office. Corrina was an excellent hostess and gave us any details we needed and responded quickly. Her cottage is lovely !!

The Good
• The property was exceptional, spotlessly, clean and tidy.
• Great location, about 1.5 km from the city’s lively areas, easy to walk.
• Honest and pleasant communication with the host.
The Mix
• House rules exist, though they didn’t affect me as I didn’t cook or do laundry.
• The bedroom and bathroom are compact. The bedroom allows limited movement, and the bathroom felt tight. For context, I am about 180 cm and 80 kg, and I found myself bumping into the bathroom a few times.
The Bad
• Parking was the most challenging aspect. The host provided a permit, which was fair given resident-only restrictions near the house. On weekdays, I managed to park on the main street next to the house with some effort. However, weekends were difficult — on Friday and Saturday evenings, I had to circle around several times before eventually finding a spot a few streets away (near the Toyota showroom). If someone plans to return after 5:30 PM, should expect limited or may be no available parking spots.
Final Thought
I would recommend this property for short stays of two to three nights, particularly if you do not have a car to worry about. For longer stays, housekeeping may be necessary, which is not currently offered.
We had a fantastic 13-night stay. The parking permit made things simple and we never struggled to find a park nearby on Gouger St.Very comfortable bed, great shower with plenty of hot water, stable wifi and a well-equipped kitchen. We loved having a separate office out the back. Great covered outdoor space too.The lane was very quiet and peaceful. No noisy neighbours. Great location - an easy walk to Chinatown and a quick exit to West Tce to get you out of the CBD.We loved our stay and hope to return next time we are in Adelaide!
Excellent week-long stay in comfy and well located West Adelaide heritage cottage
This West Adelaide cottage was truly a wonderful fit for our week-long holiday in Adelaide during September school holidays. Centrally located and close to the city, all of the family appreciated the proximity of a wide range of amenities and hospitality options. We were very comfortable during our stay in this clean and cosy heritage cottage. Tastefully decorated, and with all the inclusions any family would typically require, my family would highly recommend this property as an excellent location for your next visit. We woudl certainly enjoy staying here again!
We loved staying here - great property with space to have time out. The private courtyard table and the shared back garden were also lovely in the middle of the city. Contact with the owner was easy and speedy. Probably best for couples or families at least one older kid who is happy to sleep out the back - the sofa beds would be too firm for a couple to sleep comfortably on for long. Parking is a bit of a fight but there is always something within a few minutes walk. Chinatown is nearby. We didn’t really use heating or cooling but turned it on briefly for about 10 minutes and turned it off again as it was so efficient! I would definitely stay here again 👍
Fabulous location, the cottage was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor undercover courtyard was very special and the modern bathroom/laundry was suitable for my elderly mother, which was an important requirement for our stay.
Amazing location and everything was great and clean, except a couple dishes. Owner was great with clear and easy instructions and pleasant to communicate with!

So glad you enjoyed your stay Ashley. It was a pleasure to host you. My apologies if there were a couple of dishes that were not washed properly. We appreciate your honest feedback and will double check that guests are not putting away dishes that are not properly cleaned. Thanks again for choosing my cottage for your visit to Adelaide.
We were impressed with absolutely everything about this place. Couldn't be happier - was well thought out, perfectly equipped, both cozy & cool.
The covered courtyard was something else. Thank you!!
The cottage was as advertised. Beautiful property on a tucked away lane, in a good location. And hats off to Corinna for one of the best welcome guides we've seen -- the nearby restaurant recommendations are worth paying attention to!
Corinna's communication was excellent, and the property is comfortable and stylish. It has a top location within easy walking distance of the Adelaide Markets and great restaurants.
