Enjoy a quiet, soothing retreat, a romantic getaway, or a canal/river boating holiday in this delightful, absolutely newly-built two bedroom cottage on our home property in South Yunderup! Share our jetty; moor your boat for canal, estuary and ocean access. Share the small pool between your cottage and our home for just lounging and 'veg-ing' out. There is a furnished outside patio area with a BBQ for your sole use and enjoyment. The guest cottage is a fully self-contained and equipped home-from-home, with two bedrooms, queen and double, both with large built-in wardrobes. It also has a comfy pull-out lounge sofa, TV, and all facilities for cooking, laundering, etc. Or better still, treat yourself to takeaways from the local shop or dine out at local restaurants within walkin distance. The iconic Ravenswood Pub, Pinjarra, Dwellingup and Mandurah are all just short drives away from our very central location. .

The hosts where lovely. Cottage was clean and perfect for my husband and I. He was even able to use the internet for gaming for a few hours. Loved the couches as I listen to audio books so I was able to sit back in comfort. Bed was very comfortable and was able to make use of the washing machine. Bathroom and shower was perfect. You are close to a lovely cafe and restaurants. Highly recommend staying here. We had a lovely relaxing stay. Thank you Kathie.

Modern, comfortabel house with swimming pool on the Murray- river.

We enjoyed our stay in the Kannie kottage. The owners are very friendly and helpfull. It’s a beautiful house with everything you need in it. We loved the swimming pool, the outside-seats and table’s and the terrace on the riverside.

Wonderful getaway

Highly recommend Kannie Kottage. Great location and very well equipped. Kathie and Anne are amazing hosts. It felt like we had the place to ourselves but knew they were there if we needed. The kids had a great time in the pool and catching crabs and fish off the jetty. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely fabulous on all counts. Excellent location, great for getting around with easy access to Mandurah and Pinjarra. Scenic river views from this bankside home. Clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Good wifi coverage. Parking on site. Great weather for our stay with a cooling breeze in the evenings across the waters. Will stay there again!

Very disappointed that property was not beside the water despite being listed as such. Property was basically an annex in owners front garden beside the road with a tiny garden open to the road with no water views so not as advertised. Could sit on owners deck overlooking water but it had no views from the property. Had to spend 40 minutes cleaning cutlery and crockery as most of it was very dirty.On the departure day a tradesman cut off the water whilst we were in the shower. Tradesman was rude. Owner took no ownership of the issue and did not apologise. Completely unacceptable customer service.

Easy check in process. The house is beautifully clean and has everything you could wish for, including a private garden area with BBQ. The hosts are wonderful and share their pool and beautiful views of the canal - you can sit on a swing chair on the canal front and feel all your stresses ebb away.

Great place but not suitable for small children

Kathie and Ann are lovely people and the house is beautiful and clean, the pool was fantastic. We have twin 18 month olds and I wouldn’t recommend this place for young families. There is no secure yard, the only door access is onto a driveway and located right next to the road. Like I said wonderful place and great for couples and older children but not great for under 3

Relaxing vacation

My husband, son, 5yo grandson and my self stayed at Kannie Cottage for 10 days. This property is very well equipped with every thing required for a home away from home. It is in a very good location, good access for boating on the canals and the estuary and close to numerous restaurants, Mandurah and Pinjarra and only one hour away from Perth. The hosts Kathy and Anne are very easy going and very friendly. The house is very well equipped with everything you would have at your home. The swimming pool is fantastic, with the chill taken off by heating. The evening sunset on the canal deck with a favourite white was so relaxing. All seating supplied of course. The share jetty for the power boat and SUP was also a great bonus. My family will definitely be returning and would definitely recommend for a relaxing holiday.

Highly recommend this beautiful cottage. The owner is absolutely lovely, the property is stunning, the only down side was that we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy it to its fullest. Prime location with access to the water front.

Cute but not so private

Nice little house, owners are lovely but you feel like you are sharing a house with them, no exclusive backyard for this accomodation, needs an outdoor area. Foldout bed would not be suggested to get a good nights sleep.
