We only stayed for a night as we were attending a MX event. Great location, clean, tidy and comfortable.
Everything was perfect but the only disappointment was that there was no power point in the bathroom, even though there was a hairdryer supplied & the heating wasn’t sufficient.
All said and done will definitely stay again.

Comfortable but very basic
The unit was very basic. It could do with some modernising. Considering we paid $60 for two extra people it would have been nice to have four wine glasses and side plates, cups without cracks and some updated cutlery. Pepper and salt would have been a convenient touch.
Great place to stay for a fishing trip. Well serviced chalet with plenty of space for the boat out the back.
Get your own BBQ and only a 5 min walk to the pub.
Basic but clean and has everything you need. Will definitely be booking here for future trips.
It was a great place to stay large bathroom, comfortable beds and plenty of space in the living areas. It is very convenient to all amenities. Walking distance to the beach and shops. We woke up to the beautiful sounds of birds. Patio area is terrific. I would strongly recommend the swimming with the seals experience.
Humble but very adequate accommodation. As advertised, it’s not fancy but has everything you need. Comfortable and clean. And nice we can have our dog wth us
We had a lovely 2 night stay here, the cottage had everything we needed, was clean, comfortable and in a great location. It is budget accommodation, exactly as advertised. We were very happy to be allowed to have our dog stay with us and would happily stay again next time we visit Jurien Bay.

Needs a lot of improvement. Cooking utensils badly need updating/replacing.
We couldn't cook anything in the frypans as everything stuck to the bottom of the pans and this also included the electric fry pan, which I might add was broken away from the stand which should have been a permanent fixture. I even tried to cook toasted sandwiches in the frypans including the electric one which turned out a disaster, It would be a great idea to provide an electric sandwich maker to be able to make toasted sandwiches. Also, air conditioning should be a must in the bedrooms as well as the lounge room, as the peak time for holiday accommodation is during summer, which makes it very uncomfortable to sleep. A screen door on the shower enclosure is needed as during showers it was very hard to stop the shower curtain from being sucked into the shower alcove, this causing the bathroom floor to flood as the curtain does not stop this from happening. Lucky for us I did take bath mats and extra towels to which was used to soak up the water.
The flyscreen doors also need to be replaced as both screen doors looked like they were so old I couldn't decide which era they came from.

Cute little retro cottage by the sea
It was like stepping back in time 30 years! If you like character then this is the place for you. Situated across from the tourist park so you are away from all the noise and can get a good sleep. Everything is reasonably clean, could use a bit of extra attention on areas such as windows but this isn’t really a big deal when you look at the bigger picture. If you’re looking for something a bit different give these cottages a go!

Good location but not clean!
This property is very centrally located and has a great outdoor area at the back, it was also well equipped.
Unfortunately it was really dirty inside, the amount of dust looked like it had not been in use or cleaned for a long time. There were hairs on the bedside table and a leaf in the bed! We also encountered several cockroaches.
As we were only staying one night we didn’t raise this with the owner as it really did need a full clean so I doubt it could have been remedied during our short stay.

Hi Heidi,
Thank you for you review, its disappointing that you found the house not as clean as it should have been. We use a local contract cleaner and have advised them about your encounter and improvements have now been made.
Its a shame you didn't call the manager who is contactable 24/7 to discuss your issues at the time .
Please stay again with us soon.
