This unique one bedroom apartment is one of a kind on the Gold Coast. The apartment has 93sq metres of space on the 32nd floor with amazing north east views from the kitchen, lounge and bedroom.

The decor is neutral and modern. The kitchen is new, offering all the mod cons to make you feel at home.

The extra long balcony extends the entire width of the apartment and offers the best views from Surfers Paradise North to Main Beach and far beyond. Sunshine and warmth all year round.

This luxury apartment is located within a few minutes of Cavill Ave - a pleasant stroll down the Esplanade to all the action, but not affected by nightclub noise or pedicabs. The beach is just across the road.

The light rail stop on your doorstep offers incredible convenience to all visitors. We provide our guests with two smart cards for the light rail. Cavill Ave, Broadbeach, Pacific Fair, Southport and Griffith University are within minutes of this great apartment.

The beach markets, nightlife, restaurants, cafes, and three supermarkets are all within walking distance. Courtesy bus nearby takes you to Habourtown. Movie World, Sea World, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Broadwater cruises, whale watching, Sky Walk, hot air balloons and hinterland tours are a few of the great activities that might interest couples or singles staying at the sub penthouse.

Great location, incredible view (I have stayed in a lot of very nice hotels and that is probably up there with one of the best views I have ever had). Love that Sharon has invested in a great quality couch, and a good TV with its own Netflix account. Kitchen was fully equiped. Private with solid walls - Stayed over new years and barely heard a peep from the neighbours. I would recommend.

Amazing Accommodation

The unit is remarkable in a great location. Close to the tram making it easy to explore the surrounding area without relaying on a rental car. The view is phenomenal with a huge balcony! Great to relax on or open the doors and let the sea breeze flow into the apartment.

Awesome stay at the Gold Coast

We really enjoyed our stay at the sub penthouse. It is in a really good location, tram stop is right out the front of the property and the beach is about a 2 minute walk. The ocean view from the balcony is spectacular. The apartment was tidy and well equipped with kitchen, bathroom and laundry essentials. Sharon was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend staying at this sub penthouse, it made our stay at the Gold Coast a memorable one. We will definitely be visiting again.

Apartment was clean and very airy and bright, except the bathroom- could use some brighter lights, and more bath towels and face clothes. Bring your own shampoo/rinse. Had hairdryer. Kitchen was clean some packs of coffee/sugar S/P but that was it. Dated appliances but we only stayed 3 nights so wasn't an issue. Could use sharper cutting knives as well as steak knives. Underground parking was safe. Wash and dryer in unit was nice, bring your own soap and dryer sheets3 issues though-- 1) downstairs neighbour smoked so it billowed into our unit(we loved the fresh air but not the stink. 2) Huge new building being erected right across the street so quite noisy in the daytime but by 5pm was quiet except the odd motorbike. 3) no plugs beside the bed to plug phones in. Longer extension cord on either side would solve this nicely. Over all we had a great time, there were beach chairs and towels to use for the beach, which was nice. Beach was about a 5 minute walk and easy walk to downtown district. Thanks again Bob and Linda from Canada

Standard practice for a short term guest of 3 nights is 4 bath towels, 1x hand towel, 1x face washer and 4 beach towels. Hair products are always located in the bathroom vanity. Laundry - I provide wash powder for 4 washes. I do not provide dyer sheets so that your clothes smell nice. In the kitchen there is coffee galore in all forms, tea, sugar galore, an abundance of herbs and spices. My kitchen drawer is plentiful. If you are wanting state of the art appliances for your 3 day stay and only want to pay up to $200 p.n., I suggest accommodation priced from $1200 p.n would be more suitable for your tastes. My appliances do not need updating. The Sub Penthouse does not have USB points in the walls. There are 14 power points in the apartment. If you need extension cords for your phones… there is an extension cord in the laundry that is available for your extra needs. It was very unfortunate that smoke was drifting up but it is not possible to ‘billow’ into my apartment. I will take on board, the criticism that my knifes need replacing or sharpening and some people require brighter lights in the bathroom. Surfers Paradise is in the midst of a building boom. Yes, we can all hear the noise of the new buildings going up but I am ever so grateful that our beautiful view is not being impacted. The Sub Penthouse still offers great views and when you come to stay, everything is provided. Its all there. I do not skimp on anything. Come stay and enjoy your time at the Sub Penthouse.

North Surfers unit with a view

It’s a lovely little place with everything you need, it’s on a tram spot and beach access is great, a nice beach walk north or south to great cafes and shops. The view is amazing. There are a just a few little things to mention, it’s a little noisy, the road noise and sirens can be intrusive while we slept and the noise from the unit above, the bed mattress needs updating and the water pressure while we were there was not great.

Thank you for your review, however it is a little naive:) Surfers Paradise is the tourist mecca of Queensland - a city and not a rural or suburban zone. There will always be noise and the Sub Penthouse probably has the least noise disturbance of all in Surfers. There is no road noise but sirens can't be helped. The sound of the ocean is most prominent. The apartment is on the 32nd floor and naturally it takes a few extra moments for the pressure to kick in. There is more than enough pressure and water. The mattress is a matter of preference. Fiona paid less than a local motel for luxury accommodation and I want all future guests not to be perturbed from her not so positive comments. Unfortunately, Fiona did not leave the apartment very clean or tidy, but gave her the grace of a 5/5 rating . Ratings are important and I assure you that most of my guests love the Sub Penthouse:)
