The Hamptons Hinterland Retreat

Deluxe holiday accommodation in the heart of tropical Gold Coast hinterland. Epitomising relaxed luxury, this recently-renovated Hamptons-style 6-bedroom private house sleeps up to 14 guests in opulent comfort. Bring the family, reunite with friends, and enjoy the relaxing lifestyle and proximity to beaches, theme parks and nightlife. No Parties or events unless prior permission is granted. Extra fees will be applicable for events.

Living
Three lounge and living areas are scattered throughout the two-storey floorplan, and cater for those looking for entertainment as well as those seeking quiet solitude. The main lounge features timber floors, a large plush couch, flat-screen TV, DVD player, Nintendo Wii console and games, and platinum Foxtel package with every channel.
The second lounge is ideal for parents and couples to sit back and relax. Open the double doors to the ground floor veranda and welcome in the fresh air and hinterland views.
A private Parents’ Retreat offers peaceful respite off the master suite.
Free WiFi internet is available throughout the retreat, with laundry facilities and ironing board for your convenience.

Kitchen + Entertaining

The designer kitchen features a 3m Corian benchtop, enormous breakfast island with bar stools, three sinks, coffee machine, two stainless steel ovens, double door ice maker fridge/freezer, butler’s pantry, casual dining table seating eight, and timber floors.

Chefs and diners alike will appreciate the bright windows and French doors opening onto the ground floor veranda. A formal, separate dining with seating for 10 is located off the lounge room.

Suites
The Hamptons Hinterland Retreat sleeps 12 guests in opulent comfort.

Boasting amazing Surfers Paradise skyline views, spacious walk-in wardrobe/dressing room, and an immaculately appointed bathroom with separate shower, toilet and free-standing bath, the sumptuous master suite also has its own lounge area (with TV/DVD) for peaceful respite.
An additional five bedrooms all provide direct access to the upstairs veranda and Gold Coast views, and feature reverse-cycle air conditioning and ceiling fans. A selection of King, Queen and single beds will suit most travelling groups.

Great Outdoors

Situated on an enormous 1.7 hectare block, this Gold Coast hinterland accommodation is as impressive outside as in. The 16m saltwater swimming pool (fully fenced) with outdoor entertaining area is an ideal spot to enjoy the Queensland sun whilst watching the native wildlife. Both the upstairs and downstairs wrap-around verandas feature covered seating areas with stunning views.

For the young (and young at heart), there’s a soccer field and numerous flat, grassy areas and cubby house to explore, plus a rear BBQ area overlooking the perfectly manicured gardens. Parking is available for four vehicles, and the house’s privacy is maintained by an automatic security gate. Pets are welcome upon application.


LOCATION
Nestled among the secluded foothills of the Gold Coast Hinterland lies a holiday home unlike any other. From the moment you arrive on the grounds of The Hamptons Hinterland Retreat you'll feel a sense of tranquility and privacy like never before.
A short 20 minute drive could see you kicking up your heels in lively Surfers Paradise, enjoying fine dining in Broadbeach, or feeling the sand under your toes at famous beaches like Currumbin or Burleigh Heads.

Dreamworld, Movie World, Wet 'N' Wild and the Australian Outback Spectacular are only 20 minutes away. If shopping is your thing, you'll appreciate being a stone’s throw from the largest shopping centre on the Gold Coast, Robina Town Centre. Enjoy a round of golf at any of the five golf courses located just down the road.

Local supplies are a convenient five minute drive away at the Worongary Shopping Complex, offering a supermarket, several coffee shops, pubs, restaurants, and bottle shop.

The Gold Coast Airport is only 20 minutes from the Retreat, with Brisbane Airport approximately 1 hour away.

Our group had such an amazing time at liz and andrew’s property! They were so welcoming and kind and when we had a problem with the dishwasher andrew came to the rescue! we were so happy to be able to enjoy the huge pool all to ourselves and our holiday would not have been anywhere near as good if we had stayed anywhere else!

Family reunion

The property was everything that we had hoped and was perfect for our family. 13 people fit in with no issues, although an extra bathroom would have helped, but we managed fine. The pool, the property and the surrounding area and wildlife, especially the birds, really added to the experience.

Getaway with Family friends

We had such an amazing Easter long weekend at Liz and Andrews place. The kids loved the pool, there was all the cooking utensils you need to feed a big group and our dogs had a ball in the large backyard. Lots of space for everyone. We may have been a little short on a couple of supplies in the house and that afternoon Liz had organised a delivery which also included Easter eggs. Thank you we all thoroughly enjoyed our getaway.

It’s the little things that count

Our stay was wonderful. A family reunion with people travelling from the UK, Sydney and Brisbane. The property was as shown and stated online. But what was not shown was the little things - Every bathroom had hand soap, body wash and toilet paper. Every bed was presented beautifully with multiple pillows. The kitchen had baking paper, gladwrap and dishwasher tablets. The laundry had nice washing detergent. There was fresh flowers placed around the house. It was all these little things that made our stay easy, comfortable and more enjoyable. The house is located in a quiet spot with great views - far enough away from noise but close enough to everything g we needed. Loved it!!!

Fantastic property for our annual friends holiday

This property was better than the photos and listing demonstrate. The pool is huge and quite warm all day. The whole house is beautifully decorated in the classic Hamptons style. There is plenty of room for adults and kids to live in the home and to play outside. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms ample. The kitchen is fantastic and has everything you need. Having glad wrap, alfoil, oil etc was so helpful. The only drawback for us was the stairs as we had some young children with us. However, there was also a high chair at the property which was fantastic. Liz and Andrew were very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. I hope we will be back soon.

Perfect getaway

Mine and my extended family enjoyed an amazing vacation, time spent enjoying the pool, kitchen and multiple spacious living areas. Perfect house for our large family!!

We are a large family of 8 Adults and 7 kids, & enjoyed a long weekend in February. The house was perfect for our family reunion. The position of pool, being a distance from the house, allowed the babies to sleep, without noise from the pool fun. The layout of the house was also perfect for us, with the bedrooms upstairs and living area down stairs, which could also be closed off if we were up late, so noise didn't travel to the kids sleeping. We travel a lot, and in all honesty, I have not found a more appropriate home, to cater for kids & adults alike.

Luxury Getaway

Had a lovely stay at Hamptons Hinterland Retreat. The house is absolutely huge, there were 12 of us in total and the house still felt spacious, with plenty of areas to sit and relax. Amenities were luxurious with top end appliances and plenty of crockery/cutlery/platters etc to make entertaining easy. The bathrooms and bedrooms were lovely and even though it was cool outside, the house retained a lovely temperature throughout our stay. Liz was a wonderful host, very accommodating with any of our requests and always quick to answer. Check in and check out were extremely easy. Would highly recommend this house to all. It is easily accessible from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast and has lovely views of the Surfers Paradise skyline at night.
