This home was absolutely fantastic! The location was great, the view of the lake was gorgeous, the beach (with fire pit) was private and the yard was spacious. We never saw any neighbors the entire week.Home was very nicely furnished and had plenty of room for us, our three grown kids, their spouses and two young grandchildren. I highly recommend this property!

Wow, thanks Jim for the wonderful review! We loved having your group the week. So glad everyone enjoyed their stay with us. And hope to have you return anytime. You are always welcome.
The house was very clean and comfortable. It suited our group of 8 perfectly. The kids stayed busy with kayaks and paddle boat. The host was very helpful with questions and suggestions on the area.
We enjoyed the location, it felt like you had the lake to yourself while also being only a few minutes to town. Would definitely stay again!
This property worked perfectly for 7 adults. The home was clean, and very nice. The host was very helpful and had many suggestions for the area. Everyone loved the lake, the kayaks, and especially the hammocks. Easy access to nearby towns, restaurants and grocery. Would stay here again!
Great place tor kids and adults. Lots of things for all ages to use such as hammocks, swing set, paddle boat, kayaks, and fire pit by the water, even had a corn hole set! Lovely deck shaded most of day with lots of seating and a grill. Can’t recommend it enough.

Perfect Stay!
Everything was perfect! We didn’t want to leave! There were 7 adults and 2 kids and we had more than enough room. House was stocked with everything to start a great week. Evolve was easy to rent through. Mike (owner) was thorough in the instructions and communication was flawless. He texted to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely return!

"Thanks, Emily, for the wonderful review! We would love to have you return anytime. You are always welcome."
This was our first time to this part of Michigan, and we had such a nice time! Even though the weather wasn’t great for several days of the trip, the house and property made up for it. It was quiet and peaceful, but also had several options for entertainment for the whole family. If you’re looking for an escape in a beautiful setting, this is a great pick!

From the owner: "Thanks Jenny. We are so glad you had such a good stay with us. Please come back again sometime soon - hopefully the weather will be better the next time!"
This property was amazing. Its set back in the woods away from the road and is especially private with beautiful scenery. Its large enough to accommodate two families with plenty of space. We brought our boat and had so much fun fishing. We also took the kayaks out. We ate on the deck daily and had bonfires at night. We will definitely be back!
This home is beautiful and very well stocked. The large deck was wonderful for family meals and lounging. We rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed being out on the water. The kitchen was so well stocked, and we made many meals in. The location was good for biking, long walks, and trips to other Northern Michigan spots like Old Mission Peninsula, and Leelanau Peninsula. Communication with the owner was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay in this home.
We had a great week in this lovely property. Everything was as advertised! The bedrooms and bathrooms were very comfortable, and the kitchen accommodated many cooks. We used the grill and dined outside! The AC worked well, as it was a very hot and humid week. We loved playing games on the large back lawn, and the views were wonderful. We also enjoyed the privacy afforded by the location. Would definitely stay again if we return to the area. Lots to do, and the Interlochen Arts Center is very close by!
Our family had a terrific time! The property was perfect for our family. The home was clean and spacious and we enjoyed the large yard for games. The 2 hammocks were a favorite spot too! The small beach and shallow water was ideal for our 3 yr. old granddaughter. We all enjoyed the kayaks and the large deck where we ate dinner, played games and enjoyed each other's company. The host was incredibly responsive to emails and questions, provided a great deal of information regarding the area and provided many suggestions for eating out, activities and places to visit. Would highly recommend this listing!

Good, not very good or great
We stayed here because we needed 4 separate bedrooms and it had that, although one bedroom had no window. The place delivered on a comfortable lake house back in the woods. The house would have been good at a lower price point. For the premium price we paid, we expected more amenities, and the year+ out-of-date coffee was a turn- off and indicative of uneven attention to detail.

Hi Julie, the homeowners have asked us to share this response:
Thank you for staying with us and sorry you expected more from the property and the amenities. I did follow up and check on the coffee and confirmed that it was not expired. We will continue to work hard to provide an enjoyable stay for all future guests.

Family Vacation
Enjoyed our stay immensely. There was so much for the kids to do, the property was well kept and spotless. The home was stocked with all the necessities except food of course. The deck was a wonderful gathering spot with some part it in shade all day. Don’t remember even seeing a mosquito. There were hammocks hung between trees, a swing set, kayaks, a fire pit by the water stocked with wood, and even a paddle boat which hadn’t been mentioned in the literature. My son brought his boat and the lake was perfect for tubing. It was a very peaceful spot with only one of two other water vehicles spotted the whole time we were there. Highly recommend.

We stayed at this property for a week as a multi-generational family (9 people, 1 year old up to 94.) We had a wonderful and comfortable stay here! While I had issues with getting Evolve to respond to messages, as soon as I received Mike (the host's) info, he was incredibly responsive and helpful before and throughout our stay. The house was generally clean and ready for us on arrival, and all accommodations were comfortable. It was generally a well-stocked rental property as well as far as the kitchen, bathrooms, linens, etc. The property was quiet and the outdoor spaces were so nice to be able to relax and enjoy nature. The one bedroom and bathroom that are downstairs were accessible for my grandmother who uses a walker and is very limited in mobility (the only issue was getting into the house, as each way in involves several steps, but we just supported/carried her.) We had 2 babies with us as well, and the bedrooms upstairs were each very quiet- we couldn't hear each other even with occasional kids crying. If we get the chance to come back for another family trip, I have no doubt my family would all be happy for us to book here again!

Great house, great location, great vacation
Wonderful house with everything you need, including a well stocked kitchen, nice decks, hammocks, kayaks, dock, and fire pit. Green Lake is beautiful, perfect for kayaking and exploring. Hiking and biking trails close by. The location feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, but everything we wanted/needed was close. Host was easy to work with and gave excellent recommendations. Would definitely stay there again.
My family of 4 came to Mike's house from California -- we picked up our teenage daughter from Interlochen arts camp (which is just minutes away) and stayed for a week. It was divine! My husband loved the kayaks and took one our every day, my daughter and I loved the stand up paddle boards we rented from Alvina's (per Mike's suggestions - they were wonderful), and my son loved the paddle boat. We had daily fun on the lake as a family and it was beautiful! The house was as clean as any vrbo property I've ever rented, the location on the lake with its own beach on quiet and peaceful Green Lake could not be more perfect, the house was spacious and cozy, the kitchen well stocked, plenty of towels, big tvs for family movie nights, lawn games (we were new to lawn darts but loved them) - I can't really think of a criticism. There's a lot to do nearby - we went to the Northwestern Michigan Fair, did an escape room when it rained - and we kept meaning to head in to traverse city - but we never did because we so enjoyed spending time on the lake, making s'mores, reading in the hammocks, etc. Mike was incredibly easy to communicate with - gave us tons of suggestions and was available for questions, too. If my daughter goes back to Interlochen, we will book Mike's house again without question.
We booked this property for a large family vacation and could not have been more pleased. There were 10 of us but the property and house itself allows for plenty of room to spread out. The house sits on Green Lake which was peaceful and great for kayaks which were provided by the host. Everything that you would want to see in the Traverse City area is all within 20-30 minutes but there are also lots of cool spots in the Interlochen area. The host of this property is also fantastic. Mike made the check in process a breeze and also provided multiple suggestions for things to do and places to go in the area. We followed several of his suggestions and they all lived up to the hype. I would highly recommend this property if you’re looking to vacation in the area.

Hi Jake, The homeowner wanted to pass this along: Thanks for your comments. I am so happy you and your family had such a great time and that my recommendations worked out. Hope to have you back sometime!
House was pristine on arrival and property description was accurate. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was well appointed so meal prep was easy. Loved that there is both drip coffee maker and Kuerig available! Our teenagers loved hanging out on the upper level with the flat screen TV. We made the most of the beach area with fire pit. The dock was lovely and we went out on the kayaks every day. Although we brought our own, there was dishwasher detergent, dish soap, laundry soap, and even soap and shampoo! Everything we needed was there! Mike was in touch throughout the stay and gave tips on the area and suggestions for activities. Hope to return!

Perfect Getaway
My family of 4 rents a house in Northern MI every year, but this property was, by far, the best place we have stayed! The house was gorgeous - clean and spacious with beautiful upgrades and an amazing deck. My kids loved the little beach area and we all loved our daily kayak adventures on the amazingly peaceful lake. The homeowner was also great - he responded quickly to my many questions before the trip, checked in on how things were going during our stay, and gave us great recommendations, including a wonderful local farmers' market and Empire Bluff Trail which is not to be missed. Perfect house, perfect lake and perfect location!
