Cottage located in the beautiful Tumut/Tumbarumba Region of NSW. Butterfly Cottage offers very private accommodation with car park and a small garden and lawn area. Pets are welcome

Located just 2 blocks from the Tumut commercial and business center. The cottage has two bedrooms, an open plan living area plus laundry and a covered verandah with seating and views. The cottage has a fully-equipped kitchen and electric heating/cooling. A fenced area at the rear is suitable for a dog.

The Tumut/Tumbarumba district is popular as a stop over to the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme, fishing, bush walking or just relaxation.

The cottage was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean with a new kitchen and new large bathroom. Bedding was very comfortable and we were grateful for the air con and fans as the weather was over 40 during our stay. Thank you Dorothy for the milk, cookies and chocolates. Much appreciated after a long drive.

This was our second time at Butterfly Cottage. It is a good stop off point for our travels south each year. Our dogs were very comfortable too.

Beautiful Butterfly Cottage

The cottage was wonderful, very comfortable and well appointed, all our needs were catered for. It was so tastefully decorated and well located in the township of Tumut, we will certainly return, our dog had a good time too, thanks.

Beautiful country getaway

We had such a fantastic time at Dorothy's property. The house was very clean, conveniently located and well-equipped. There were so many little homely touches which made us feel very welcome. The town is beautiful and it is only a couple of blocks away from everything you could need. We really look forward to returning in the near future. Thank you for a lovely stay Dorothy!

Great Place, Close to Town

This was a great place to stay with the family and our dog. It was in a very quiet area, extremely close to town so you could walk down and enjoy the local pubs and shops. It was well presented with an updated kitchen and bathroom (which was huge) and a neat yard with a very secure and fully fenced yard for your pet. Dorothy was a pleasure to deal with and check in was really simple and easy. Would highly recommend staying here to explore Tumut, we loved it! It was a bonus finding a packet of bikkies and a bottle of milk already there for us when we checked in!

The kitchen and bathroom were obviously recently renovated and they were beautifully done. The cottage was comfortable and warm (we were there in winter). Recliner chairs in the living room which were very comfy. Nice touches of chocolates and biscuits plus milk in the fridge. Great to have such a high standard for pet-friendly accommodation. It is a short walk to the fabulous off-leash Bila Park and beautiful riverside walk. Fantastic for doggos that need plenty of exercise!

Comfortable and Quiet

A suggestion would be to install a dishwasher. the bathroom fan needs to be stronger to remove steam. Blinds outside or inside bathroom for privacy, if window is to be open for airflow. Back screen door not able to be locked. Would stay again for a few days.
