About this property

Monica's at Diamond Bay Sorrento

Our newly constructed beach house can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests.
It has two separate living areas each with gas log fires, 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Each level has its own deck. Guests may rent the more spacious upper level with its expansive views, the cosy more intimate ground floor level or the entire home. Broadband Internet, Foxtel and Netflix are also available along with split system air conditioners in all bedrooms.

The beautiful Diamond Bay beach and Mornington Peninsula National Park with its many walking tracks and rugged coastal scenery are only 200 metres away.
The historic and popular tourist town of Sorrento with its well patronised coffee shops and restaurants is within a comfortable walking distance or a very short drive. Port Phillip Bay with its array of water sports such as swimming, sailing and sea kayaking is on our doorstep.

We are also fortunate to close to one of Australia's best hot springs; the award winning Peninsula Hot Springs. Its bath house bathing, numerous hot springs, plunge pools and massage packages are among the best the country has to offer. This facility is without doubt one of the peninsula's major tourist attractions.

Guests may catch the ferry service from Sorrento to Queenscliff and then drive on to the Great Ocean Road.

The Mornington Peninsula is well served with some of the finest golf courses, vineyards and wineries in the country. All these attractions are only a short distance from our beach house.

We had a wonderful weekend away made perfect by our accommodation. The house was lovely, bright, clean and well equipped. The location was great for us - easy drive to the hot springs, the beaches and shops. The rooms and layout suited the large group we had staying over. The owners were warm, easy to talk to and accommodating to us and the needs of a young child.

Monica's is a beautifully appointed property with every quality appliance your heart could desire. The gas log fire is divine on a cold night and the personal touches (a welcome hamper, hot water bottles in each room, a few pantry basics like olice oil, paper towel, salt pepper) were fantastic. A great stay.

Thank you Margaret and John for your wonderful hospitality and goodwill in sharing your lovely seaside property with our family. Your warm welcome was much appreciated, as was the thoughtful basket of goodies (the popcorn was a hit with the children!). The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom had all the amenities we could ask for. We also found the beds extremely comfortable and appreciate the provision of excellent linen. And all this a stone's throw away from stunning Diamond Bay! A very enjoyable weekend, thanks again.

High class property with all you need!

We recently stayed overnight for a birthday celebration. We cannot recommend this property highly enough! All the fixtures and fittings are excellent quality, the furniture is well selected, the beds are super comfy, and the linen is divine. The towels were fluffy, and the extra goodies provided such as shampoo etc were heavenly. The welcome basket of yummy treats for our Birthday guest was a thoughtful gesture! The location is ideal! We were only a few minutes drive from the shops and restaurants. The kitchen was well appointed, and we made good use of th Weber BBQ out on the top deck. The Homeowners were fabulous to deal with, and gave us great recommendations for walks along the stunning coastline, just a few minutes from the front door. We would highly recommend this place to family and friends, and hope to return again for a longer stay. Thanks Marg and John!
