About this property

Beachfront Cabin on private, secluded Bells Beach 5 minutes from Langley Village

Welcome to our waterfront cabin in Bells Beach, a five-minute drive north of the village of Langley on Whidbey Island. This charming cabin is remodeled, very clean, cozy, and located in the lovely, quiet and private community of Bells Beach.

The private beach and tidelands are yours to enjoy. The charming and fully equipped cabin is right on the water with 60 feet of level bulkhead beachfront property and unobstructed views from every room. Enjoy the sunrise over Camano Island and the beautiful Cascade mountains across the sound with a cup of coffee from the bedroom or on one of the cozy living room sofas. The outdoor lanai area has a massive fireplace, is covered from the elements and doubles the cabin’s living space. At night, watch the city lights across the passage as you enjoy your dinner, have a drink by the outdoor fireplace or make s’mores in your private bulkhead fire pit. In this quiet and romantic retreat you'll witness Bald Eagle and Heron fishing on the beach, light boat traffic along the Saratoga passage looking across to Cascade Mountains, from Mt. Baker to the Everett city lights, and there have even been whale sightings recently.

Within a five-minute drive, you will arrive at the famous coastal village of Langley which was recently voted #5 in a list of the country's top 10 happiest coastal communities by Coastal Living Magazine. "Just one hour north of Seattle in Puget Sound, Whidbey Island’s tiny waterfront village has a picturesque townscape that feels a bit like New England, a sunny climate (thanks to the rain shadow) that shines like Southern California, and a drumbeat of outdoor pursuits like kayaking and hiking that are pure Pacific Northwest. What more perfect combination for a sense of escape that still connects to civilization via great coffee, excellent restaurants, and an arts scene that punches above its weight? An added benefit to Langley life is its very location in Puget Sound, placing it in a network of ferry-linked islands that stand ready for weekend adventure all year round." Also nearby are Freeland, Coupeville, and Clinton for even more exploring, shops and services.

The Beach Cabin is ideal for a couple. Rates are for double occupancy. $40 per night per additional guest.

The calendar is actively managed and up-to-date, and reservations are made very quick and easy with electronic rental agreement and secure payment.

Beautiful cabin on the water

We loved our stay! This cabin has all of the amenities and is right on the water. We *loved* how quiet it got here! In the morning the sun comes right in and makes the wood paneling glow. Beautiful cabin, great stay, would definitely come again.

Loved it!

We enjoyed our stay and plan to return later this year. Originally we planned to go into town and have a nice dinner but after our first day we decided not to go anywhere. It was wonderful to just sit by the water and enjoy the view. The cabin had everything we needed. Next time I'll bring an electric fry pan and maybe a crock pot. The only thing we did not like was the step up to the bathroom. We were concerned about forgetting it was there in the night. I did have trouble with the door combination both unlocking and locking. I'm sure it was operator error. I would recommend this cabin.

This cabin is just what you want for a getaway at the Washington coast. We had a great time!

This cabin is clean, well set up, and has just about everything that you will need. The view from the cabin is great and although the property beach access was still blocked we did walk a short way to the neighborhood access. We spent time exploring Langley, Coupeville, and the Olympic National Park. We took many of the state ferry rides which are very timely. Since we are from Montana and it is fairly easy for us to get to WA we purchased an annual Discover parks pass for the WA state parks. You can use it for parking at certain places, state parks, and the fort on the island. We had only one full day of rain and the rest of our 5 day stay was really pretty nice. If you do not have a big family this cabin is perfect. I highly recommend it!

Very Zen Property & Home

I concur with all of the other positive reviews. The home is well cared for, the property is right on the water with a great outdoor seating/entertaining area and it's only about a 6-8 min drive to Langley. It's just perfect for 1 to 2 people and the owner is very responsive.

Great birthday weekend

Love Whidbey Island and enjoyed our 3 nights on the water. The weather was cold and clear so didn't spend much time outside like I would like but still enjoyed the cozy cabin. For a small kitchen, it had everything you would ever need. Perfect for the two us. Would love to come back during the summer to really enjoy the lanai. It really made the space larger.

Weekend retreat

My wife and I live in the region but wanted to get away from the "normal". November being what it is normally in the northwest....It rained every day. However the property has a wonderful outside covered patio with wood burning fireplace along with great Adirondack chairs to view the passage of boats, birds and giant dragons (well not really dragons). The interior is well situated and is well supplied with items needed to cook with and clean up. The queen bed was very comfortable and with the propane gas stove/heater the place was very cozy. We enjoyed ourselves . Thank your for sharing your place. Bruce

The cabin was clean and cozy!

My wife and I stayed here for part of our 20th wedding anniversary and I'm glad we did. Loved the French doors out to the Lanai which really opens up the space and makes the veiw even better. We wanted to take a few nights away from kids to watch movies and relax and both nights there that is exactly what we did. During the day Whidbey offers plenty of exploring. Langley is also pretty cool, much more trendy than expected. This was a recommendation to us and we will definitely be passing it on.

Beautiful, well maintained home with gorgeous views!

We loved our two night stay at this cozy cabin to celebrate our 15th anniversary! Everything was clean and tidy. I had fantastic communication with the owner, Cinthia throughout the months leading up to our trip. This house feels very spacious inside. The home had a very well equipped kitchen that was easy to cook in. Extra things like paper towels and a new sponge were icing on the cake! There were also games and movies to enjoy. I was bummed I hadn't grabbed some fresh flowers in Langley before we arrived but was so pleasantly surprised to find a vase of beautiful flowers upon arrival! The amazing outdoor space nearly doubles the usable space. I wanted to stash my favorite chair and bring it home! Beautiful views. Location is wonderful, with just a short drive to Langley and the ferry. There's not a negative thing to say about this vacation rental.

Would go again for sure.

Charming cabin on the water. Everything there we needed. Covered patio was just splendid! Owner very accommodating after my mistake about dates. Thank you!! Saw a baby harbor seal resting on the beach, rabbits and an eagle perched in a tree next to the cabin. Would definitely go again.

Absolutely amazing!

This cute little romantic cabin is going to hold dear to my heart as I got engaged there during our stay last week! The amenities at this little cabin were absolutely perfect! They had everything from a full kitchen two additional towels, to seasonings and certain random things that you would need to stay for several days in a cabin! The views of this cabin were absolutely breathtaking! The private beach was the added bonus! Its definitely not a big cabin meant to bring the whole family but a romantic cabin with its own private fireplace on the huge patio (which we spent most of our time) a BBQ and a fire pit that overlooks the harbor (where I got proposed to!) Cinthia was a sweetheart that went out of her way to make sure everything was clean and welcoming and even congratulated us on our engagement! We will definitely be contacting Cinthia again to revisit this amazing, cozy romantic little cabin in this exclusive neighborhood!

Breathtaking views at wonderful, secluded, beachfront home!

This was such a wonderful and relaxing getaway. We loved this amazing home and our stay in Whidbey. This home has a wonderful location, on a quiet street and right on the water. We even saw eagles and whales while sitting in the backyard and living room. The views of Saratoga Passage, Camano Head, and the Cascades were astounding. This home feels much larger than it is, has a well-designed layout, is very clean, and allowed for a thuroughly relaxing stay. The lanai is amazing and huge and feels like an extension of the cabin. We spent the majority of the days relaxing on the lanai and eating meals on the outdoor dining table. The owners have thought of every detail and it shows. It has everything you need, is tastefully updated, and the bed and furniture are incredibly comfortable. The home provides every utensil needed to make delicious meals in the full size kitchen appliances or in the outdoor grill. We enjoyed grilling outside a lot and sipping wine while roasting marshmallows in the fire pit overlooking the water. The ability to walk down a few steps and on to the beach was priceless and we enjoyed many long walks and explorations during low tide (mid-day). This home is perfect for a couple and has it all. It is at a very accessible location, close to Langley and Freeland, but feels very secluded, private and tucked away at the same time. The owner made it very easy for us to check in and enjoy their beautiful home and we can't wait to return! Next time we’ll bring our kayaks to launch from the backyard.

Felt Like Home

This cozy clean cabin was just right for my husband & self. Although smallish in square footage, it never felt such with the large window's blinds pulled up. The large covered patio & gorgeous view unencumbered by window frames or a wall made us feel that the cabin was HUGE! We spent a lot of time on the patio watching otters, bunnies & a Bald Eagle that flew in to roost at top of the pine tree right next to the house! Late evenings were also spent on patio w/ a roaring fire in the covered fireplace. Happy to have outdoor outlets to plug in my laptop & the string of patio lights. Also a regular light out there in case you are like us & spend most time outdoors. Loved the ol' fashion looking gas stove (heater) indoors. Did a terrific job of warming up the place in a very short time. Yeah, I know our stay was during spring but we're from Hawaii & the eve temps seemed cold to me. Husband of 17yrs doesn't like heat, kept bdrm door shut so that a room stayed cool. Both happy w/ compromise & no impending divorce, lol. Home is convenient distance from ferry going toward Seattle yet you feel a million miles away when settled for eve in this sweet cabin. Nearby town of Langley has great shops & restaurant next to glass-blowing shop was excellent. Cool unadvertised pinball arcade at "The" Bakery & occasional live local music. Our host Cinthia was da kine! Answered questions before & during our 5 night stay in a timely fashion. Would definitely stay here again! Liked it better than the much bigger home we got on Goss Lake for stay of a few more days & have some family over. Re; altho' it was also clean, comfy & view...the artwork, signs of what to do ALL over & canned responses via email made us feel hotel livin'. If you like personal touches in service & throughout home, THIS Bells Beach cabin is the 5 star place on Whidbey Island. Mahalo Cinthia! Jahnys n' Stan

The cozy weekend getaway you're looking for!

My girlfriend and I needed a little weekend away and this was perfect! It was so cute, warm and charming. Everything was really clean and well kept. The kitchen was really well appointed and very comfortable, the fireplace outside under the patio cover was magical! I brought my Apple TV to plug in to watch movies and it worked perfectly. It's just a few miles from town and some delightful eateries, bars, and shops. You very much feel as if you're out in the nature and the elements while having the luxury of being close to civilization if need be. We will absolutely be planning another long weekend away! *Google Maps side note* Google maps didn't know that the road you turn on to get to Bells Beach Road was a one-way. Don't take the first right turn from Saratoga Road, take the second right. That will put you close to your turn on to Bells Beach Road.

Lovely little cabin, perfect for two

We love the Bells Beach cabin! It is very clean, with a beautiful layout that makes the most of every room & storage space. Clean and spacious bathroom, cosy bedroom looking out onto the water, and a kitchen with everything we needed. During our visit we saw gray whales passing by, at one point very close to the backyard -- such a treat! And the stove & heating system kept the cabin warm despite the rainy spring weather. We'd love to return someday soon. Thank you, Cinthia!
