The charm and emotional warmth of Aysgarth had all four of us smiling as we entered. Everything was as advertised re amenities, beds, kitchen - all clean and convenient and easy. We especially loved the Oak tree and the Holly bush, the gardens in general were beautiful.The wall display behind the dining table was quirky and interesting. I come back again to warmth - everything about Aysgarth wears care and interest and a welcoming spirit. We'll be back.

Aysgarth was a wonderful house to stay with our family and fur baby, close to shops and the lake. Perfect house for a weekend of eating, drinking and playing board games. Our dog loved having her own toy box supplied - even though she only played with the sheep. We would definitely come back and stay. Thank you for the use of your house!

Had a wonderful stay at Aysgarth. The home has everything you need and is very neat & tidy. If you have a dog, there is a fully fenced area which we found quite safe. I have no hesitations in recommending Aysgarth for your next getaway in Daylesford and we look forward to returning once again.

Lovely property

Lots of outdoor space and we especially love the front garden. Property is fully fenced too and that allowed us to hang out in the garden with our little pooch without worrying about it sneaking outside. nice cost interior and lots of linen and pantry necessities provided. We had a great time.

Had a wonderful 8 day stay, welcomed with a lovely hamper of goodies and heaters were on making the home warm and cosy. Everything was spotlessly clean. Perfect place to stay for a break

We absolutely loved our stay. The house is gorgeous and everything has been thought of. Really comfy beds, and electric blankets were a winner given the freezing nights. Arriving to a warm house made such a difference, and the welcome pack was so generous and very much appreciated. The fireplace was very popular too! Being a truly pet friendly property made our stay perfect for everyone, and our fur baby had the time of his life! Great central location topped everything off, we’ll be back!

Highly impressed

Aysgarth impressed us the moment we drove down the driveway to the rear of the fully enclosed pet safe back yard which was shaded by several large gum trees. The homestead style house was a huge surprise. This would have to be the most well appointed home I have ever stayed at with its modern interior and all the mod cons you could ever need. Most days were spent under the rear verandah or around the bbq which is under a pergola. Our two dogs loved the space to run around in the backyard which has gorgeous established trees to provide shade. Overall, amazing stay at Aysgarth which is in a quiet area and only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful lake Daylesford walking/ running track and a 10 minute walk to the town centre 😁

Asygarth stay March 2023

Overall we liked the property. Clean & tidy. Front garden was nice, although pictures were deceptive. I choose this property because I thought wedding photos would look great here but not quite what we expected. I thought lounge space would be bigger. Attending our daughter’s wedding & biggest disappointment was lack of hanging space for clothes & where to put suitcases. Main bedroom had 1/2 small, narrow locker for hanging clothes with nowhere to put suitcases in main bedroom. Needs to be addressed as it’s totally insufficient. Thought priced a bit high for what it was.
