Forrest River Valley Blue Wren Studio - self contained accommodation for couples

Our newly furnished Blue Wren Studio is our self-catering option at Forrest River Valley. The studio is a very private space with floor to ceiling windows and a large deck area showcasing the stunning valley views across our rural property to the Otway Ranges and beyond. Soak up the ambience of county life, listen to the birds; watch the kangaroos in the valley; enjoy brilliant sunrises- all from the deck of your private studio
The Blue Wren has a king- size bed. .There is a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster maker and tea/coffee making facilities but no cooking facilities. The usual crockery and cutlery is provided for self-catering
A light continental breakfast can be ordered at the time of booking for an extra charge.
Unfortunately we do not have facilities for owners to bring their pets

Everything we needed

We were going on a dawn Eco Tour - Paddling with Platypus, so wanted to stay in Forrest. The Blue Wren was perfect. I wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful setting. The host left the key for us, as we were coming in late. Everything worked perfectly. We were able to meet and visit in the morning. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable

Service was excellent and due to unforeseen circumstances didn't end up staying the night but the space had everything you could need. Would love to come back one weekend in winter as the views are amazing and would definitely be comfortable during the stay.

Nice unit with outstanding views.

Very nice clean unit in a rural setting with outstanding views. The only think lacking was a motion sensor light on the pathway to the unit. We dined in town in the evening and returned back to the unit on a moonless pitch black night and had to grope our way to the door, negotiating a number of potential trip hazards.

Perfect accommodation for our weekend activity.

Charming studio, with a fantastic bed, and lovely views over the rolling fields of Forrest. Carol was lovely and welcoming, explaining all the details of the accommodation. A few minutes drive in to the town for an excellent meal at the Brewery should also be on your list of things to do. Bed was super comfortable, and big, and the provided snacks and bottled water very welcome. This is certainly on our list to return to for a weekend escape.
