Cottage was clean and comfortable and perfect location for everything. Sue was a great host and communicator. Would highly recommend and would love to return.
The accommodation was simply lovely. Our little dog was very happy to have us with her for 100% of the time and loved walking down to the beach each morning, and after an early coffee, a slightly harder walk back up. Great for fitness. Our host family went above and beyond, on all occasions. We booked into the Lorne Grand Pacific for a meal and when the Uber failed to show Sue dropped us and picked us up. I will be recommending ours hosts and accommodation to our own friends and family going forwards.
Such a wonderful place to stay. Hosts were very accomodating and welcoming. Would definately stay at the property again. Close to everything you need and great for exploring the Otways.
Lovely and welcoming hosts. Peaceful location but close enough to walk to beach and shops. Was made more enjoyable that we could bring Nala with us. Highly recommended.
We really loved our long weekend in Lorne - Sue (our Host) was very accommodating and really lovely. The unit was very well looked after and clean. Our pup really enjoyed exploring the yard and playing with the butterflies. Thank you Sue for a wonderful stay,
My second stay at Susan and Darren’s was just as great as the first. Very comfortable, very welcoming for both humans and dog. A wonderful, restful stay.
The accommodation is one of the best (if not THE best) places we have stayed. Clean, modern, lots of space and perfect for two couples.
Gorgeous setting with plenty of birdlife and an easy walk to town. The hosts were amazingly helpful and friendly.
We had a lovely stay, we got up and close to the natives animals. The property was very clean. The host Sue and Darren were both very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Would highly recommended to anyone wanting a getaway.
Sue is a fantastic host with excellent local knowledge.
The property is super clean, well appointed with everything you need. There is also a separate and private spacious lounge/dining room for your use.
I would definitely recommend staying here.
A beautiful immaculately presented cottage a few minutes from the action. The cottage is welcoming and spotless……and the hosts are warm and exceptional. A lovely water view upfront is delightful and so relaxing.
Wonderful property in Lorne, scenery and wildlife is incredible around property. Small basic kitchenette but we ate out. The King Parrots were a highlight. Travelling with our geriatric cavalier - he was welcomed and enjoyed the stay also. Sue very accommodating and anticipated our every need. Highly recommend.
My husband and I spent 5 nights at this beautiful place, enjoying the peace and quiet after a very stressful year to date.
We were greeted by our lovely hostess and some local birdlife also made us feel very welcome.
All the facilities we needed were there, including the outside BBQ to cook some easy meals, comfortable sleeping arrangements and a relaxing downstairs lounge.
Thank you so much for your hospitality.
It was very cosy and comfortable and Sue could not have been more helpful. In spite of very chilly, rainy weather we had a very happy time in Lorne with our son and his girlfriend. The cottage is extremely well appointed with a wonderful gas fire that instantly made the place cosy.
We had a lovely stay at this accommodation. It was extremely clean and tidy. The linen and towels were crisp and fresh. A cosy and comfortable stay. The porch was nice to sit on and enjoy a cuppa or a meal, which we did do, it was tranquil and the sounds of birds around added to the experience. 2 minute drive to Lorne main street/beach. We had our dog with us too and she enjoyed it too. We will definitely stay here again.
Very cosy and comfortable cottage that looked exactly as the photos. Hadn’t realised that the hosts stayed at the back of the property which impacted on our privacy a bit. Well located, short walk to town.
