Contemporary two bedroom luxury corner sub penthouse apartment with magnificent city views from all rooms. Situated on Brunswick St with close proximity to cafes, bars, shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious with open plan living/ dining area and Queen size beds in both bedrooms. An external balcony wraps around the apartment to ensure it is light filled. The kitchen and bathrooms are beautifully appointed with every mod con and there are two car parking spots available.
This is a truly amazing apartment that has the wow factor as soon as you walk in the door. The views from every room are spectacular and it is so private - no one looking in on you from a neighbouring complex... Every room has both block out and privacy blinds but I just leave them open all the time to gaze out into the distance at the views - I love it. Entry is via security controlled doors and lift. Access is only permitted using a security fob that is specific to each floor level. It is private, exclusive and very safe. The apartment also has two permanent car parking spots which are accessed via a remote control to the lower basement. A security deposit is fully refunded upon return of the keys and remote devices. The windows are all double glazed so it is quiet and cosy and each room has its own air conditioner/heater to keep you comfortable. A balcony wraps around the corner positioned apartment so it is light filled and accessible with every room having its own full length floor to ceiling door. The bedrooms have been furnished with beautiful upholstered furniture and the master has a Queen sized Sealy Posturepedic mattress and the second bedroom has a Sleepmaker miracoil mattress - ie. good quality, supportive and very comfy mattresses. Both have mirrored robes with drawers, shelving and full hanging spaces. Hangers are provided. The lounge has a 49" new TV with HD resolution and an awesome sound. The apartment has unlimited wifi use. The dining has a large table with comfortable chairs. It can be used for work/study with power and digital points in close proximity. The kitchen is streamlined, clean and contemporary. There is full use of all equipment and some food - please replace whatever you use. There is a front loader washing machine/dryer combo which is available for use. The best part of the apartment is the location - easy access to Fitzroy proper and all that it has to offer, close to University of Melbourne, RMIT and other academic institutions as well as just a tram ride from the city. It is walking distance to the Fitzroy pool and to the beautiful Edinborough gardens. Please note that a development has commenced on the neighbouring block to the rear of the apartment so there is the potential for some noise. However works will only take place during business hours and presumably not weekends Guest access The whole apartment uninterrupted Guest interaction Nil. Access to the apartment is via a security lock box with the key and remotes inside. An email with general information and the location of the key will be sent to the guest 1-2 days prior to their arrival. Neighbourhood overview Fitzroy is the oldest suburb in Melbourne and its mix of history with contemporary living makes it a very happening place to be in. It is a lively multi-faceted inner city borough filled with bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, galleries, studios and live music - there is so much to see and do and enjoy. Retail therapy is definitely a must with the iconic shopping strips of Brunswick and Smith Streets. The apartment is ideally located just one street across from the full busy ebb and flow of main strip. You can step out from the front door and walk 100m and be in the trendiness of Brunswick St to hang out, dine or just relax in the myriad of restaurants, cafes and parks. Grab a coffee, cake, meal or just chat. It's pretty special. It has a diverse food offering which is a sheer sensory delight to the taste buds - in fact it has more cafes and restaurants listed in the The Age food guide than any other suburb (with the exception of Melbourne CBD). BUT if you want more it is only 2kms from the Melbourne city centre. Getting around The apartment is very close to the corner of Brunswick Street and Alexandra Parade. It has ready access to the No. 11 and 112 trams which will take you to the city centre (free travel between Parliament House stops to Victoria Harbour Docklands) and out to St Kilda's Fitzroy Street and beaches. The outer journey takes you to Bell St Preston with trendy Northcote worth a visit. There is easy access to St Vincent's hospital, the Eye and Ear hospital as well the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre and the South Melbourne district. A connecting tram can take you to the Crown Casino. Trains, bikes and automobiles also will do the job of seeing Melbourne's attractions.

Lovely apartment with splendid city skyline view. Well-stocked for routine needs. Fun neighborhood with excellent transit access. Siobhan was responsive and pleasant.
The apartment was amazing, really ideal for our week in Melbourne. The host explained the access details and when we got into the routine for getting through multiple doors it was safe and secure. Fitzroy is a strange area and is probably an acquired taste. It was lively but pretty dirty and was trying to be trendy and not quite our thing.
Nice flat and good location close to city. Excellent information provided in the flat and host always available.
We enjoyed the stay very much. If anything then the kitchen and bathrooms could use a little bit more care by the cleaners.
Had a three night stay at this apartment last weekend.
Great location and exactly as the pictures demonstrate.
Siobhan was brilliant to deal with - good and speedy communication at all times. Checkin procedure was very easy and a very secure apartment block.
Would stay there again
Fantastic spot for a Melbourne trip - lovely apartment with spectacular views (especially the night skyline!), comfortable, clean and super comfy beds. Siobhan has thought of everything to make the stay great and was really easy to communicate with. 10/10 and we'll be back for sure.
2nd time staying in Fitzroy North. Apartment exactly as described. No need to comment further. Very well equipped, modern, clean. 5 mins walk from Fitzroy bars n restaurants. Nice to get out of the city and experience a different side to Melbourne.
Our two week stay was a blast as we were able to easily enjoy neighborhood, city and must see tourist sites. The apartment was conveniently located near a tram stop and the parking spot was super helpful when we rented a car for a few days to go further out. The apartment is clean, stylish and secure. We only needed to contact the host once and she replied immediatley to help us wth the wifi router,
We were taking a cruise departing from Melbourne and decided to spend a few days touring the area. This lovely apartment was the ideal location for our five night pre-cruise stay. Its central location and inside parking for our rental car made it easy for us to visit multiple areas of interest in and around Melbourne. It also has stunning sunset and city views from every room and a large wrap around balcony with outdoor seating, which we greatly enjoyed. It is well appointed, very comfortable, clean and safe. Our host Soibhan was responsive and provided clear instructions and good recommendations. We truly enjoyed our visit to Melbourne and our stay in this apartment.

No elevator no reimbursement.
We received notification on the day of our arrival that the elevator was out of service. This apartment was on the 4th level. We had to navigate with our luggage and groceries through dark cement stairwells and glass security doors at 9 at night. It was not a pleasant experience to start. Apologies from the owner were plentiful but no discount offered for our inconvenience. The elevator was out of service the entire three days of our stay. There are renovations ongoing in the building and all doors to the outside were open. We had concerns about security as a result - especially when navigating the stairwell.
The towels in the ensuite were stained and well worn. When I asked for new towels, I was told that towels were professionally laundered and she was sorry that the towels did not meet my standard. I was also told that 1 hand towel for two people for 3 days was standard. Coming out of a post Covid world, I would think one hand towel per person would be appropriate especially in a high end apartment.
There was 1 kitchen towel for cleanup, no washing up liquid, no laundry detergent. We had to unload dishwasher when we arrived.
The apartment was nicely appointed and decorated and the location was very good.
As our days were all jam packed - we did not have time to search for a new place with a working elevator and clean towels. We just made it work. However we do feel some reimbursement would have been appropriate.

Response from VrboOwner on 29 November 2023
This guest was advised prior to her stay that the lift was not working - it meant climbing stairs to the 4th floor apartment.
It was STRONGLY suggested that she find alternative accommodation and receive a full refund - she refused to do so.
She was there for two nights and complained that two hand towels was not sufficient (one in each bathroom as well as 4 bath towels were provided). She complained that there were no face washers etc etc Basically an unhappy soul.
I would not host her again….
Very attractive apartment just around the corner from the beautiful Edinburgh Gardens. Enjoyed an hour with my dog in the gardens each morning, followed by a perfect coffee and pastry from the local cafe. Clear instructions for entry and car park.
If anything the property is undersold on the listing. Everything is there and top class-from first rate kitchen appliances to cushy TP, there is no skimping. Nespresso coffee maker was a favorite, as we enjoy that coffee at home as well. Capsules provided to get us started but we brought some from home too. Beds comfy, AC worked fine. City noise factor minimal. I am a very light sleeper and not kept awake at all. With some mobility issues, the tram stops half block away we’re awesome. Trams running regularly. Extremely secure building and though the welcome instructions appear intimating our access was easy. And the lift was near the car space as well. Then there was the view. Daytime was nice, night lights a treat. Book it fast, this one will sell out quickly.
This property is in an ordinary(amazing) location. Restaurants & cafes in walking distance serve uninteresting BLT’s & Italian (I believe would make a chefs hat or two). The architecture that is around you & seen from the boring (extraordinary) view is interesting & changeable (unbelievably). The apartment is nothing (everything) you need for a a wonderful stay in Melbourne (run out of synonyms). Thankyou for letting us stay there.
We really enjoyed our stay, which included car parking .the views , tram out the front and a beautiful apartment , would recommend this to anyone, great communication with the host
Our family of four enjoyed our two day stay in funky Fitzroy. The property is modern, clean, has very comfortable beds, and the view is amazing! The location is close to the trolly line which made it easy to get around. Lastly, Siobhan was very helpful and responsive!
This beautiful apartment was clean the furnishings were modern the view was one of the best of the city. We felt very comfortable and safe public transport out the front. I will definitely stay in this amazing property again
Highlyy recomend.
As pictured (beautiful) little apartment. Clean and comfortable with well thought out amenities
It's Fort Knox to get into but the host provides detailed instructions. The host is very friendly and communities well,.
