Grasstree Spa Studio at River Trails

Grasstree Spa Studio at River Trails is ideally located mid-way between the town of Margaret River and Prevelly Beach, and within walking / cycling distance of either along a beautiful pathway. River Trails is on eight acres of native forest with abundant flora and fauna, where often you may observe kangaroos in their natural environment. Due to our forest location with few boundaries please note the property is NOT PET FRIENDLY.

Grasstree Spa Studio is a self-contained queen-size spa studio with cathedral ceiling. Quality furnishings, en-suite with double spa bath, walk-in robe, television / DVD, fridge, microwave, tea / coffee (pod machine) making facilties, with reverse cycle air-conditioning. A Mediterranean style kitchen facility is located under the semi-enclosed private verandah (heated), with alfresco breakfast bar for dining.

As our name implies, trails and tracks abound in this area. A scenic walk / cycle way is on your doorstep which will take you past renowned Cape Mentelle Winery into town, or past the golf course to Prevelly beach and world famous surf breaks.

Cozy Bush Setting

Very well set up excellent studio design, loved the modern style bathroom.Also the alfresco kitchen was brilliant, plenty of bench space with easy to use cooktop.Bed was comfortable also.Great job John and Lisa.We will definitely return in the future.

Wonderful place to stay.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough, clean tidy and ultra quiet! The only let down was we didn’t get to meet the kelpie puppy that was mentioned in the notes that roams the property ☹️

The Grasstree cottage is beautifully located, well appointed with comfortable bed, functional bathroom and excellent out door kitchen. Beautiful host Lisa was approachable and helpful.

A beautiful rural property that is perfect for a couple, was just outside of Margaret River town centre and close to the coast as well. The hosts were lovely deal with and gave us the privacy we wanted. Wished we stayed longer and could not fault our stay

Exceptionally tidy, cosy and peaceful...

Perfect location in being not too far from the main town centre and beach, but also close enough to hidden treasures like the nearby waterfalls. Non-intrusive and lovely accomodating owners (and playful puppy Nala!) who warmly welcomed my boyfriend and I, whilst also treating us to some local treats. Perfectly clean, cosy studio to come back and relax to on the alfresco with a glass of wine, listening to the surrounding sounds of nature. Definitely recommend!

Close to Margaret River

Close to Margaret River with quiet surroundings. Modern spacious bathroom. Little disappointed with bedding/pillows. They need a refresh. Need to keep an eye on the coffee machine water as it needed a good clean. Be wary of phone reception as there wasn’t any.

Property overall is good. Apex windows above bed were a bit bright in the morning for our liking as we like to sleep in. Ok if you are a early riser. Driveway needs branches trimming. Now have scratches on our vehicle from driving in and out. Tv sound system needs replacement.

Nice accommodation but .....

The property is listed as 508 Kevill Rd, Margaret River - it would have been easier if we'd been told it was the first property on the left on Kevill Rd West. The pictures online are decieving - we expected a cottage standing alone but it was attached to the owners home and made us want to be as quiet as possible. The bed was very low to the ground and I'm glad we took a mattress topper as it was needed. The club chairs in the room were not comfortable to sit on for more than 20 minutes, so disappointing considering what was charged. However, the nice touches which included a bottle of wine and some chocolates, was very thoughtful. We liked the outdoor area and the mozzie coils were also a nice touch. We enjoyed the wrens playing in the garden, but sadly didn't see any kangaroos. We also enjoyed the good tank water for drinking.

Peaceful Location

We really enjoyed our stay here. Even though the Studio is right next door to the main residence, our accommodation felt very secluded and we felt like we were the only people there. It is only a short drive into town or the nearest beach. We had no issues, the bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor kitchen. The owners left us a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival and there was a printout of local recommendations which was a nice touch.We highly recommend this accommodation.
