5iveHeadz Coastal Lifestyle Getaway is perfectly located on Eastern Eyre Peninsula, approximately 15km north of the township of Tumby Bay. This spacious, family friendly holiday home offers tranquil surrounds and beach side accommodation. It truly is a getaway and is the perfect place if you're looking for some serenity. The pristine and unspoilt beach is just magnificent, perfect for swimming or fishing, or for those long relaxing walks. Your footprints in the sand will be the only ones you will see.
The home offers spectacular views with amazing sunrises and sunsets. A games room includes an 8-ball table, table tennis table, darts, TV, a sound system and fridge. Make as much noise as you like as any neighbours are too far away to be disturbed.
The home itself comprises 5 bedrooms, 4 with queen size beds and the other bedroom has 2 sets of bunks. All bedrooms have built-in robes. There is even a kids retreat. The fully equipped kitchen offers a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and a walk-in pantry with bar fridge. The home can be temperature controlled by two reverse cycle split systems.
Other facilities include a bathroom with shower and separate bath, two toilets, a powder room and a laundry.
External areas include extensive decking and grassed areas, a rear verandah with ample seating, outdoor settings and lazy boys, a 3 vehicle carport, and of course a gas BBQ.

It was amazing and a great way to start 2026 for our family. The owners were easy to contact and lovely to deal with. The house was comfortable and a true home away from home, we didn't need to bring essentials aside from towels which made packing so much easier for our family. We had a fantastic family weekend getaway at 5headz. It was easy to find and it had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to keep everyone entertained from the little ones to the adults. We are already talking about booking again during summer to spend more time at the beach.

The home was great and the views were absolutely wonderful. The kitchen drawers and dishwasher needed more attention in cleanliness for health reasons. All in all a wonderful holiday.

Wonderful property

We stayed here as a group of 3 families. The home and property was large enough to accommodate us all and the kids had plenty of space to roam free and play. Wonderful views and extremely well stocked home with more essentials than we even needed! The owner was one of the best I've come across and responded promptly to all enquiries and was accommodating to our needs. Thankyou so much for allowing us to stay.

Absolutely stunning location. We had amazing weather, so walks to the beach we’re very enjoyable. It made our full on family Christmas very manageable as we had somewhere to retreat to as needed. Especially with two children under one for this year’s Christmas. The amount of bugs around the property and inside was undesirable, but manageable with a few quick vacuums. Will definitely return!

This property was just o.k. When arriving the kids wanted to look for a movie on Foxtel, we contacted the host because we couldn't see any Foxtel box so presumed it must be via the smart TV....the host replied very promptly but told us they had cancelled the Foxtel, with an excuse about a prior renter.....cold comfort for us, but still the full amount charged even though they're advertising things that just aren't there. Unfortunately the free to air TV is hit and miss with the signal dropping out for 3 out of the 7 days we were there. You may read this and think my overall rating of 3 is harsh, but if your advertising things, they need to be there, regardless of prior renters. I note the Stayz web site for this property still advertises Foxtel, even though its definitely not there The BBQ was in pretty poor repair and state of cleanliness. The owner did tell us beforehand that the ignition didn't work and we'd need to light it with a piece of paper.....when we looked for a lighter, none were provided....so a 30 min round trip to Tumby Bay to buy a lighter from the service station. It sleeps 14 but only had one bathroom so if your taking a large group some co-ordination would definitely be required. The beach is about 900 metres away but you will be secluded if that's what you're after, only saw one other couple on the beach in the 7 days we were there and we went down to the beach daily, sometimes twice.

5iveheadz, as the name suggests, has 5 owners. These owners, also great friends, used to holiday regularly every new year in nearby Port Neill. However, one year we were advised that our regular rental was not available. Dismayed and distraught, we decided that the only way we could have our regular new year get together, was to purchase our own slice of heaven. Thus, land was bought, the holiday home was built and 5iveheadz Coastal Lifestyle Getaway was born.

Why they chose this property

What first attracted us to this area was the magnificent beach. It was just perfect! The sand was white and it squeaked under our bare feet and best of all, there were no other humans in sight. The beach stretches some 15kms into Tumby Bay. The isolation of our property and the closeness to the ocean gives it a calming, soothing effect. We wanted our kids to be able to run free and make noise without disturbing anyone. We wanted to play our music loud and sing and dance late at night without having our neighbours complain.

What makes this property unique

Obviously the unspoilt, pristine and magnificent beach is a drawcard. Try swimming, fishing or going for one of those cliché walks along the beach. The peaceful and serene nature of the surrounding countryside just makes you forget all your worries. The spectacular views in all directions, the picturesque sunsets and sunrises, the fresh, clean, ocean air. The room and space for a few families to get together and have fun without worrying about making too much noise or disturbing your neighbours. Forget something? insist on your daily newspaper!.....Tumby Bay is only 12 minutes drive away.
